If soone wants to make a move on them, it would naturally be when fewer people are around.
Charles was looking after his Lucy, so he took Sophie with him to lure people out.
Unexpectedly, the other side was quite patient, lying in ambush for so long before acting.
"Impatient." Charles frowned, "There was a small problem."
"What?" Kai casually asked, not worried at all with Charles around.
"Sophie got injured." Charles’ brows furrowed tightly, and until now his heart still felt pangs of pain.
"What?" Kai exclaid in surprise, turning his head to rush into the tent, "Sophie, you’re hurt? Quick, let see, where’s the injury... uh..."
Kai stared blankly at Sophie, only to see her slightly raise her head, stretch out her hand, and point to the adhesive bandage on her neck.
"It’s nothing, you just rest." Kai turned and walked out of the tent, gritting his teeth at Charles and growling in a low voice, "Is that what you call getting injured?"
Charles’ brows hadn’t relaxed, and after hearing that, he was even more frustrated: "What else then?"
Kai held his forehead, realizing that he just couldn’t communicate with Charles.
"How could you let Sophie... get hurt?" Kai was at a loss for words when ntioning this injury.
Although it was a small injury, with Charles around, Sophie shouldn’t have been hurt at all.
Besides, with Sophie’s skills, it shouldn’t have happened either.
"Ran into an idiot!" Charles rembered that dumb Bear, a flash of resentnt in his eyes, "Are the recruits in the training camp all just filling numbers now?"
He had been away for a long ti and didn’t understand the current situation; Kai, however, should be familiar with it.
"How could that be?" Kai waved his hand and said, "Not as good as you, that’s for sure, but they definitely don’t slack off."
Is undertaking missions for fun?
If they don’t et the standard, who would dare to let them go?
"Okay, I’ll check it out." Kai picked up his phone and made a call. After a while, he ca back and said, "There were so drug dealers, they’ve been tracking them for a long ti, and this ti they’ve been cornered."
"Hmm." Charles didn’t say much after listening. He had no objections to them carrying out missions, but if Sophie hadn’t been injured, he wouldn’t have stepped in.
He definitely had no regrets about beating people up.
Especially thinking that if by chance that stupid Bear had caused so mishap to Sophie... he would have torn that bastard apart alive!
