"How could that be nonsense?" Erie laughed, holding her hand and saying, "At my age, I could almost be your mother. Can’t I see this clearly?"
"Let tell you, if you like him, be brave and pursue him. Jas is going through a breakup now. If you keep him company and help him, he won’t be able to live without you." Erie encouraged her with a smile, "It’s a modern age, girls don’t need to be so shy."
"Although Jas isn’t at Seymour Corporation anymore, he’s ambitious, and he can’t go wrong in the future."
"Right now, he’s going through a tough ti. If you help him, wouldn’t he be grateful? By then, wouldn’t you both be living happily together?"
"Really?" Hayley Cole was too excited to feel shy anymore.
"Of course, it’s true." Erie said with a smile, "At my age, would I lie to you?"
"n care about their dignity. How could he possibly agree to let you do those things for him? But after you do them, what’s he going to do? He’ll have to accept your kindness." Erie advised Hayley, "Take action, don’t be passive."
"Hmm, I understand." Hayley nodded in understanding, "You’re right."
After Hayley sorted out her thoughts, she lost interest in shopping with Erie and quickly headed ho. She had to find a way to help Jas.
Erie, however, turned around and looked upstairs, not seeing any sign of Sophie Wilson. Only then did she feel relieved and pat her chest before leaving.
It seems like Sophie didn’t notice them; it was just a coincidence.
It’s a crucial mont now. If Sophie finds out Hayley is helping and decides to sabotage them, what would they do?
She still has to be a bit more careful.
After parting with Hayley, Erie didn’t go ho but instead went to Benjamin Walton’s company.
"Benjamin!" Erie didn’t expect to see Benjamin right at the company entrance and called out from afar before walking over.
Benjamin turned his head, smiling as he saw Erie approach, and curiously asked, "Why are you here all of a sudden?"
"I finished shopping and had sothing to discuss, so I ca to find you." Erie said, glancing at the young man in his twenties standing opposite Benjamin, who looked energetic.
But... Erie was stunned when she got a good look at the young man.
"Alright, I got it. You can go now." Benjamin said with a smile to the young man.
"Okay, see you, President Walton." The man said and then smiled at Erie, "Goodbye, Mrs. Walton."
That last line was a simple farewell, yet it sent a slight shiver through Erie, making her feel that his gaze was a bit...
"Erie, let’s go up." Benjamin tugged at Erie, laughing as he asked, "Why are you daydreaming? Are you tired?"
"Benjamin, that guy just now..." Erie felt sothing off about him. On closer look, he seed to resemble Benjamin sowhat.
She couldn’t pinpoint exactly what was similar, but there was just sothing about him.
"He’s a company employee and quite capable," Benjamin explained in his usual tone.
"A company employee? How co I’ve never seen him before?" Erie probed further.
As she asked, she was already searching her mind for any information about this person, but she had no impression of him at all.
"There are so many employees in the company, how could you possibly rember them all?" Benjamin asked with a chuckle.
