"Besides, why are you even bothering with this? It’s exhausting for your mind and spirit. If your heart starts feeling uncomfortable again, I would really feel bad." Benjamin Walton’s words ward Erie Wilson’s heart, dispelling the odd feeling she just had.
"When have I ever been that delicate?" Erie Wilson laughed as she looped her arm through Benjamin Walton’s to go upstairs. Once they entered the company, she was greeted all the way by employees calling her boss lady and madam, relishing in the feeling of being ushered in, she cheerfully entered Benjamin Walton’s office.
"Benjamin, I might have done sothing today that you won’t be too happy about." Erie Wilson said with so embarrassnt, "I asked Hayley Cole to handle things, just don’t tell Jas Reed."
"How could you do that?" Benjamin Walton questioned her excitedly upon hearing that.
"What’s wrong with what I did?" Erie Wilson glared at Benjamin Walton in dissatisfaction. She was just a little anxious earlier, but that didn’t an she felt she did anything wrong.
Who was Benjamin Walton to judge her?
"Hayley Cole likes Jas Reed, she wants to do sothing for him, so let her do it. Can you really stop her?"
Seeing Erie Wilson’s uneasy expression, Benjamin Walton softened his attitude and sighed lightly: "Erie, what I an is that Jas Reed doesn’t want people saying he succeeded just because of Hayley Cole."
"It’s not that serious." Erie Wilson waved her hand, nonchalantly saying, "Jas Reed has neither career nor love right now. But with Hayley Cole, it’s all different, he has both!"
"You regard Jas Reed as a friend, so you should think what’s best for him." Erie Wilson advised, "Besides, is Hayley Cole’s status soone you can afford to offend? It’s better for us to just go with the flow."
"When their good thing cos about, we’ll be the heroes. Our company will benefit a lot then." Erie Wilson beca more and more delighted as she spoke, solving problems for Benjamin she’s truly capable.
"Well... that’s true." Benjamin Walton nodded with a smile, "Jas Reed is in a slump now, if Hayley Cole can really help him out, that’s a good thing."
"Of course, it’s a good thing." Erie Wilson said proudly, how smart she was.
"My wife is indeed impressive." With Benjamin Walton’s complint, Erie Wilson beca even more pleased.
That evening, upon arriving ho, Benjamin Walton called Jas Reed: "Erie Wilson has already spoken with Hayley Cole, just wait to be pursued by Miss Cole."
"Thanks a lot." Jas Reed laughed.
"I’m just sharing in your good fortune." Benjamin Walton laughed, "If it wasn’t for this opportunity from you, our company wouldn’t be so confident about winning the bid."
"It was thanks to your wife’s ’frankness’, otherwise Hayley Cole would have waited a bit longer before taking action." Jas Reed replied modestly.
"Okay, let’s not start arguing about this here, thanks to these two amazing won." Benjamin Walton’s words elicited a good laugh from Jas Reed, two n, despite the age difference between them, were absolutely on the sa wavelength.
This is true mutual appreciation, shared interests.
As for Sophie Wilson, Charles Seymour furrowed his brow slightly and asked, "What’s wrong?"
She was distracted at dinner which was not like Sophie’s style, did sothing happen?
"Jas Reed is really shaless." Sophie Wilson sighed, putting down her chopsticks.
Charles Seymour’s expression darkened a bit: "Why do you focus on Jas Reed so much?"
