"Uncle is back?" Sophie Wilson looked at Clarissa in surprise, "No, what on earth does my uncle do at this school? Once he goes on business trips, he can’t be found... too mysterious, right?"
"There’s no helping it, your uncle is involved in research projects now, sotis the places he goes to are quite remote, and other tis it needs to be confidential, so once he’s on a business trip, his phone is often off." Clarissa Taylor explained with a smile, "It’s all part of the job."
"Truly remarkable." Sophie Wilson sighed, "I wouldn’t want my Mr. Seymour to do such work. If I couldn’t see him for a long ti or hear from him, I’d certainly feel miserable."
Clarissa couldn’t help but laugh, "My dear Sophie can’t seem to live without Charles Seymour."
"Mom, he can’t live without either." Sophie Wilson raised her eyebrows cheekily, "If you don’t believe it, you can ask him."
"This child..." Clarissa playfully scolded, "How am I supposed to ask him that?"
"Don’t worry, he’d love for soone to ask, then he’d run to and make all sorts of assurances." Speaking of Charles Seymour, Sophie Wilson couldn’t help but have the corners of her mouth lift involuntarily, "He’s just that kind of show-off."

"Uncle doesn’t even give a heads-up when he cos back." Sophie Wilson sighed, "I could have gone to the airport to pick him up."
Well, it turns out he’s back already, and he’s only arranged a al with her parents now, making her feel like her uncle is so kind of solo warrior from ancient tis.
"Your uncle’s used to it." Clarissa sighed lightly, "Honestly, when your uncle suddenly got married, I didn’t expect it."
"If it wasn’t for Chaya back then..." As Clarissa ntioned the issues from the past, her heart felt heavy, "I always felt Chaya saying she had slept with your uncle was a lie, but she cried, made a scene, and even threatened suicide to make your uncle take responsibility... Sophie Wilson shivered inexplicably, saying awkwardly, "Mom, why do I feel uncle is like a little victim forced into marriage?"

Clarissa lowered her gaze, sighed painfully, "If it weren’t for , your uncle wouldn’t have lived these years like this, after getting married, your uncle handed over all his salary cards. But Chaya isn’t soone who cares about living well."
"Don’t worry, Mom, it’s all in the past. I’ll take care of Uncle in the future, support him, and look after him." Sophie Wilson said with a smile, "You can be at ease, your daughter has the capability."
"Alright, I’m at ease!" Clarissa looked at Sophie Wilson driving with a smile, feeling gratified, how did her Sophie turn out so well?
Upon arriving at the restaurant, Sophie Wilson had just parked the car when she turned her head to smile outside the window. Clarissa turned to look and couldn’t help but laugh too, not knowing when Charles Seymour was standing outside the car, waiting for Sophie.
This son-in-law, he is truly considerate and ticulous.
"What are you doing outside?" Sophie Wilson got out of the car and asked.
