The little eunuch and Commander Sun exchanged glances, both surprised. Without any evidence, why was the Emperor so sure that it was the War Prince who did this?
Commander Sun hesitantly asked, "Emperor, could there be a mistake?"
The Emperor said angrily, "Who else could it be but him? Last night at the third watch of the night, besides the War Prince, nobody knew about this, and since the news spread so quickly, it must be him."
Well, the Emperor firmly believed that the War Prince leaked the news, and they had nothing to say, but given that the incident had already occurred, the problem needed a swift solution.
Commander Sun asked anxiously, "Emperor, what do we do now?"
This morning, when he ca to report, many civilians had already gathered at the gate of the Imperial Palace. Having been inside for a while, he was unaware of the situation outside.

"Oh dear!" The little eunuch stomped his foot, helplessly chasing after from behind.

Soone amidst the crowd began to wail.

Learning that the Fourth Prince was the culprit, they frantically ca to the gate of the Imperial Palace, seeking justice from the Emperor.
Ordinarily, they wouldn’t have dared, but now with their hos destroyed, what was there to fear?
Indeed, at the height of desperation, death becos a relief; if they aren’t afraid of dying, what else is there to fear?
"Yes, quickly hand over the Fourth Prince, this killer."
"Emperor, don’t protect him because he’s a Prince, we won’t agree."
"Yes, yes, we won’t agree, hand over the Fourth Prince imdiately."
As people shouted, they pushed towards the gate of the Imperial Palace.
Almost all the Imperial Guards had gathered here defensively, fearing that a mishap might allow the commoners into the palace.
"The Imperial Palace is sacred ground, no approach allowed, or risk execution without rcy." A leader stood atop the wall at the palace gates, bow and arrow in hand, aiming at the commoners, surrounded by a dense array of archers.
The civilians initially stepped back in fear but then surged forward again...
Soone shouted loudly from the crowd, "Kill us if you must, since our family mbers are almost all dead, one more makes no difference, co, kill us."
"Yes, with our children dead, living is worse than death, if we don’t get justice today, living is just being walking corpses."
The unrest grew more intense; the commoners at the gate of the Imperial Palace seed frantic, surging towards the palace. The Imperial Guards tried in vain to block them, unsheathing weapons to suppress the crowd.
"If you dare advance another step, don’t bla the master’s weapon for not recognizing a person." At the forefront, an Imperial Guard, for intimidation, injured an advancing commoner with a single strike.
