Chapter 431: Chapter 301: Gathering Information_3

Yang Sheng sat on the bench, her gaze wandering to the brightly blooming flowers in the garden.

April had co, and with it, flowers blood, spreading fragrant aromas that filled the air around her nose.

Yang Sheng reminisced about Jiang Ning’s ferocity from last night and said, “Last night, you were really sothing.”

One versus five, an overwhelming victory that was nothing short of a complete crush.

Beforehand, Yang Sheng had asked her dad about the strength of so formidable professional players—nothing out of the ordinary.

They’d fight ordinary people without boxing gloves, and knocking soone out with a single punch wasn’t a problem for them.

However, even professional fighters, when faced with a few knife-wielding thugs, often opted to run since a knife slash can’t simply be blocked.

Yet Jiang Ning managed to calmly use a bicycle as a weapon… so bizarre.

Jiang Ning replied, “It was just okay, they ca at one by one. If they had surrounded together, it definitely would have been more troubleso.”

Yang Sheng exclaid, “Then you must be really strong!”

To kick soone flying and then whip a few others with a bicycle—what kind of freak was she?

Absolutely abnormal!

Yang Sheng felt that Jiang Ning was like a human-shaped steel beast, seemingly gentle but impossible to withstand once she got moving.

If Yang Sheng faced Jiang Ning herself, even with not too shabby physical fitness, she probably would have gone weak at the knees before even making a move.

The two were chatting about yesterday’s event.

A little further away, Zhao Xiaofeng was like an intelligence agent. He took out his phone, pretending to mooch off the Wi-Fi, but in reality, he was reporting back to Qi Tianheng.

“Brother Tian, they’re not playing with their phones, just chatting together.”

In the classroom, Qi Tianheng was so annoyed that he couldn’t even eat:

“Damn it, what are they talking about?”

Zhao Xiaofeng ssaged: “I don’t dare to get closer, I’d be done for if they spotted !”

He made an excuse: “Brother Tian, you could look on the bright side. Maybe they’re just downloading sothing over the Wi-Fi and put their phones away?”

Qi Tianheng said, “That makes sense.”

In the afternoon, during the last class, it was study ti.

Class monitor Huang Zhongfei kept watch at the podium.

Halfway through the class, Huang Zhongfei tapped on the blackboard eraser:

“Classmates, the grade has notified us that after school none of us should leave. Everyone must gather in front of the academic building to practice Tai Chi.”

Upon hearing this, Cui Yu shouted, “Why Tai Chi again? As soon as the weather gets nice they start bothering us!”

Because it had rained for several days, the Tai Chi activity had been paused, and everyone had almost forgotten about it.

Yu Wen said, “I wanted to go buy bubble tea! They’ve released a new product at the store entrance.”

Cui Yu asked, “Pearl milk tea?”

Yu Wen glared at him furiously.

The students grumbled, but the school didn’t care about their grumbling—attendance was mandatory.

Chen Siyu turned around, “Jiang Ning, Xue Yuantong, don’t you have to practice Tai Chi?”

Bai Yuxia said, “Don’t ask questions that will make you unhappy.”

Without guessing, everyone knew those two had an exemption.

Jiang Ning’s Tai Chi was even more standard than the teachers’, and Xue Yuantong was the representative speaker for the school celebration.

Complaints buzzed around the classroom, and Huang Zhongfei, knowing everyone was upset, didn’t try to stop the chatter.

Wu Xiaoqi was resting with a basketball in his arms. He woke up every morning at four to practice and was seriously sleep-deprived over the long term.

Lately, Wu Xiaoqi began to wonder if his lack of height was related to this habit.

As he pondered whether to change his routine, a familiar sour sll wafted to his nose.

He glanced sideways and saw his desk mate, Pang Jiao, nibbling on pickled-pepper chicken feet. To be exact, it wasn’t nibbling.

Wu Xiaoqi thought of monster movies he had watched in the past; Pang Jiao was like a monster feeding.

The ghostly white chicken feet disappeared into Pang Jiao’s gaping maw like they were entering a bottomless abyss.

Wu Xiaoqi’s mind wandered, and his vision gradually blurred.

He thought about the abyss—whether there were animals and plants in it, if anyone played basketball there, and what kind of shoes they wore if they did?

Would the shoes be stuffy? Would that make their feet sll?

Wu Xiaoqi couldn’t help but ask, “Pang Jiao, do you think chickens get athlete’s foot?”
