Eight bodyguards died before his very eyes.

Slain by the hands of two white policen at that. Carol didn’t know how to describe his feelings right now, but one thing was certain - it was downright horrible. His mind was filled with confusion. There was no doubt that the two white policen were working with the man behind him.

All of his bodyguards were now dead.

He didn’t want to die.

Carol’s mind was spinning, trying to figure out a course of action.

At that mont,

he realized the cold sensation pressed against his head was gone.

The white man had put his gun down, co over and sat down on the tea table in front of his seat. The man wore a smile, but the look in his eyes, which seed to regard him as less than human, sent a shiver down Carol’s spine.

Almost scared him enough to wet his pants.

"Friend, I admit defeat this ti. State your demands, I’ll do what I can to et them." Carol’s mind was in utter chaos, but he tried to put on a calm face.

The Fighter smiled, "As I ntioned before, I’m interested in the casino you own."

"I’ll give it up, I’ll give it up. I can get my lawyers to draft the contract right away, and I definitely won’t call the cops afterwards." Carol nodded his head frantically. He didn’t even care about U.S. legal procedures at this point. First, he would agree, then find a way later. He needed to be alive to negotiate.

"Clever. Good. We can discuss the next steps now," The fighter said again.

"What are we talking about?" Carol asked, confused.

The Fighter chuckled, "I’ve said that I want to buy your casino, right? But we don’t have enough. What should we do?"

"You want more money?" Carol’s face turned pale.

"No, no, no. This is money to buy the casino. Doing it through legal ans is easier, and will not leave loopholes for the law. And I think you will not betray us once the deal is done. We will leave each other alone from then on." The Fighter shook his head.

"I..." Hesitant, Carol ruminated. If he misplayed his hand he might lose both life and money. His thoughts were all over the place, trying to find a solution that would be most advantageous to him.

While he was hesitating,

"Click."

The chill at his forehead startled Carol and his sorted thoughts beca a chaos.

With no ti to think, Carol nodded frantically, "I agree, I agree, I’ll give you the money. When will the casino be transferred over?" It wasn’t that he lacked the will, but after years of a pampered life, his youthful audacity had faded into fear.

"We can do it once the money for purchasing the casino is received. Call your lawyers tomorrow and we will make the exchange at your casino - money for goods." The Fighter casually stated.

"..."

Carol exhaled in relief, at least he had until tomorrow and it would all take place on his turf.

When had he ever been in such a situation?

It was usually his n pointing guns at others to demand money. The ones who couldn’t pay usually ended up using their wives and daughters to pay off the debt. He had done this too often, becoming numb to it. But what goes around cos around, and today it was his turn.

He had no other choice but to eat humble pie.

But he was afraid that the Fighter would kill him after taking his money. That would truly be a great loss.

"You... you won’t kill after getting the money, will you?" Carol was still worried.

"No, no, no. Your casino is our target, not you. As long as you don’t cause trouble for us, there’s no need for you to worry." The Fighter said frankly without lying.

Looking at the Fighter’s unwavering tone, Carol gritted his teeth and said, "I... fine, the value of my casino is $2.1 billion. Most of my money is in the casino, much of it is in cash. I can only transfer $1.2 billion, the rest can be offset with the casino’s reserves. How does that sound?"

Faced with life or death, Carol had to compromise.

He really did not want to die.

"The password."

"What?" Carol froze, not getting it.

Leaning in, the Fighter explained, "The password for your bank account. According to our investigation, you have a Citibank account ending in X33. I guess this would be your funds account."

Carol gasped, "How did you find out?" This wasn’t that shocking since he used the account too many tis in many places, leaving nurous traces.

"You don’t need to know. Just give us the password," Fighter responded coldly.

After a mont of hesitation,

Carol revealed the password.

Soon,

the $30 million in it was instantly transferred sowhere else by the Command Room. Because the Command Room couldn’t directly transfer from the casino’s accounts, they could only use the funds from Carol’s personal account.

"And there’s $50 million more." The Fighter was at it again. It wasn’t that the Fighter was bad at math, he noticed that two of his accounts had identical passwords. So, he instantly transferred $40 million.

Carol was stunned. The math skills displayed by the man before him left him speechless. "I don’t rember how many accounts I have, I..."

"Swiss Bank, the identifier ends with TCFD, password."

Now, this truly shocked Carol to the core. "You know about this too? Who exactly are you guys?," Carol asked in panic. This was his secret account. All the black money he earned over the years was stored here and only he knew the password, even his wife and son were kept in the dark.

"Thank you for your cooperation." The Fighter randomly responded.

"Wha... cooperation, I..."

Carol was stunned.

What was going on? He hadn’t even said anything. What was he supposed to be cooperating with?

Suddenly,

"Ding ding ding..." The phone rang for Larolle.

He took it out, and it was his private assistant from the Swiss bank.

Upon handing the soldier his phone, Larolle imdiately answered, "Hello, this is Larolle."

"Hello, Mr. Larolle, your account just transferred out fifty million dollars. Can I ask if this transaction was made by you?" ca a gentle female voice that Larolle rembered from their heated encounter last ti. She was a warm-hearted English beauty.

"Yes, yes, it was ," Larolle replied.

"May I know why? If you have any complaints about our service, please feel free to tell us." The personal assistant spoke softly.

"No, it’s just that I need so cash flow for a business deal," Larolle said.

"Okay, thank you for your support of the Swiss Bank. We hope to continue to have your support in the future. I’ll show you around next ti you visit Switzerland." Despite this being an official call, the bank didn’t care and even wished for such a thing to occur.

"Okay, got it."

Larolle ended the call.

He stared intensely at the soldier. His money was gone just like that. How did they find out his password? Also, how did this happen so quickly? He didn’t see anyone operating it, so there must be others around.

Remote control? Was this all a setup?

Seeing the silent soldier, Larolle anxiously asked again, "How did you guys find out my Swiss bank password?"

At this mont, Larolle was a bit panicked.

His account held a little over two hundred million. Now that fifty million dollars were gone, the rest of the money wasn’t safe. This ti the bank’s assistant called, but it may not happen next ti. Even if they did call, it may not be possible to retrieve the lost money.

You need to know.

The responsibility of keeping the password safe, lay mostly with him.

"That’s a secret, goodbye, Mr. Larolle." The soldier smiled.

"Alright, I am leaving imdiately..." As if granted a stay of execution, Larolle hastily rose, preparing to flee outside. He noticed that the gun in the soldier’s hand was now on the table, and the two white policen had returned their guns to their holsters.

"Whoosh."

He hadn’t taken more than two steps.

Larolle’s eyes widened.

There was a red dot on his forehead.

It seems like this red dot is about to mark the end of his sinful life.

As for such a person.

Since he was involved in today’s incident.

How could Tang Qing let him live? Garbage should be cleared as soon as it is encountered; why leave it till the next day? As for the entertainnt city, it’s also a target. But, it could be taken over without Larolle’s involvent.

Once Larolle made it out alive.

It would complicate things. This is why Larolle must die.

During the inquiry period, the command room had already found the password for Larolle’s Swiss bank card. It was surprisingly located in a private folder on a high-level computer in UBS. This folder contained the information of hundreds of such dodgy individuals like Larolle.

All of it constituted a large amount of money.

The command room could have embezzled all this money in theory, but the reality presented almost no operational opportunities as the bank’s clearance funds list could not be altered.

Rather like the Swiss bank.

It is an utterly rogue bank.

It’s the global aggregation of laundered and illicit money. As a permanent neutral country, they don’t care about the source of the money. Once deposited, it can’t be traced. If soone wants to check, the Swiss bank doesn’t pay them any mind.

A great deal of money from the Jews, warlords, or other powerful figures during World War II, deposited into the bank, is not handed over to the succeeding generation. They pocket all of it, turning it into the bank’s assets.

But can this ’dead account’ money be touched?

Tang Qing had the command room check thoroughly.

It turns out.

It can’t be mobilised.

All such funds in the Swiss bank have individual files, and unclaid funds only act as an account on the surface. The money inside it has long been operated as the bank’s fund. In other words, the account list outside contains all the financial bills from the establishnt of the Swiss Bank to the present.

The accounts of those who died in World War II or in reality will continue to exist.

However.

There’s no money left inside.

All have been swallowed by the Swiss Bank, rged into the special account’s funds, used for bank investnt and other financial businesses. All business profits and principals are the Swiss Bank’s.

This also led to Tang Qing’s plan to seize these funds falling through. He initially thought that the Swiss Bank was still holding on to the so-called ’dead money’, but it turned out that all of it had been transferred away, leaving only empty accounts.

Furthermore.

All banks around the world have their own insurance clearance system. It’s not just digital; there’s also a paper version. This is to prevent a large-scale virus from paralyzing the entire banking system one day which would cause all accounts and money to disappear.

That would certainly be troubleso.

Therefore, backing up information in different ways is crucial.

This also dispelled Tang Qing’s idea of invading the banking systems of various countries and forcibly transferring funds. The accounts with money all have owners, while ownerless money has long beco the bank’s ’private property’. The existence of those accounts is simply a shell.

Dead accounts can exist, but dead funds cannot.

This is the truth about banks.
