Pei Yang and Jiang Ran were pushing the cart together when they quickly realized sothing was off.
In the morning, Pei Yang had pushed the cart with Pei Shanshan.
Even though they were able to move it then, it wasn’t as effortless as it is now.
Glancing sideways at Jiang Ran, Pei Yang understood what was going on.
Jiang Ran was strong, which made it much easier for him.
Pei Yang never expected that one day he would be pushing a cart with Jiang Ran.
In the past, Jiang Ran could only wish to lie on the cart and be pushed by him.
Pei Yang kept glancing over from ti to ti, and Jiang Ran, not being a fool, naturally sensed it.
But Jiang Ran pretended not to notice.
After all, the original’s intimidating presence was there, so even though Pei Yang had countless doubts in his mind, he ended up asking nothing.
The two of them kept their heads down in silence and made their way quickly, reaching the county town in no ti.
After arriving in the county town, they went to the sa spot where they set up their stall in the morning.
Without a watch, Jiang Ran didn’t know the ti, but seeing the bustling streets, he felt sowhat relieved.
Anyway, it couldn’t be worse than the morning’s business, could it?
The shredded radish was already prepared and on the table, but the shredded potatoes still needed to be fried.
Shredded potatoes taste best when freshly fried; otherwise, if left cooked for too long, they’d soften and lose their crunch.
To fry the shredded potatoes, Jiang Ran had brought along the necessary seasonings.
Oil was added to a cold pan, and once it heated, he added the dried chili and stirred a few tis before adding the garlic slices.
After the garlic aroma was released, he added the shredded potatoes.
With high heat, he stir-fried for half a minute, then sequentially added salt and vinegar.
Just before removing it from heat, he drizzled so sesa oil and gave it a quick stir before taking it off the fla.
Even though this iron wok wasn’t as large as the one at ho, it wasn’t small either.
Most people struggled to lift it with one hand, but Jiang Ran could flip it with ease while frying shredded potatoes.
Having finished frying, he lifted the pan easily with one hand.
Pei Yang always knew Jiang Ran was strong, but he had never seen him put his strength to use in this way.
Turns out being strong had its advantages, huh?
While Pei Yang stood there blankly, a crowd had gathered around.
Jiang Ran’s frying might have seed intricate, but it didn’t actually take long.
Altogether, it was just over a minute.
Carried by the spring breeze, the tangy aroma of the shredded potatoes wafted far.
It was nearing lunchti, and whether attending school or working, everyone was starving.
Suddenly inhaling this aroma made their stomachs rumble.
Naturally, they followed their noses toward the source.
"What are you selling?"
"Selling shredded potatoes?"
"How much is it?"
Hearing the crowd’s questions, Pei Yang wanted to respond but didn’t know where to start.
At that mont, he heard Jiang Ran’s voice.
"Shredded potatoes are for sale, three cents a portion. Besides shredded potatoes, we also have stead pork belly and rice."
As he spoke, Jiang Ran lifted the lid of the stear.
As the lid ca off, the aroma of the rice and pork belly rushed into people’s noses.
The sll was sudden and intense, almost overwhelming.
When the white steam dispersed, everyone could clearly see the contents of the stear.
Three plates of pork belly were neatly arranged, each slice glistening with a rich, enticing hue.
