Early the next morning, Jiang Xue finished breakfast, said a word to her in-laws, and went back to her parents’ ho. She wanted to tell her parents about taking her father to the city to see the doctor next Monday.

"Cheng’s mother and daughter, was it Cheng Li?" Jiang Xue’s face changed, not expecting that what she feared would happen. She had already known that Cheng Li, having suffered at her hands, would certainly not let it go easily, so she had specifically reminded her parents to be wary of her.

In the morning, the doctor had even suggested that they should go to a county or city hospital for better care. But with no money at ho, even if they wanted to go, they couldn’t. They could only stay here and get so dicine from the doctor to manage the condition first.
