The man guarding the mother and daughter warned them, then slamd the door shut.
"Xiao Li, I’m sorry, it’s Mom who hurt you." Once the door was closed, Mrs. Cheng looked at Cheng Li with a guilty face and began to cry.
She initially thought the middle-aged man and the young man before were kind-hearted, but didn’t expect them to be so sinister, selling her and her daughter off.
Now, they were locked in here, surrounded by their people, simply a cry in the wilderness.
Thinking of Flower Lady’s words earlier, Mrs. Cheng felt uneasy again. Clearly, they were going to be sold off, but the thought of where they were being sold to filled her with fear.

"Xiao Li, why aren’t you talking?" Mrs. Cheng cried and blad herself for a long ti, but Cheng Li didn’t respond, which made her worry again.
"Shut up, don’t bother !" Cheng Li glared at Mrs. Cheng and shouted at her.
Mrs. Cheng was taken aback by the shout, and when she saw the disgust in her daughter’s eyes, her heart ached as if pricked by needles.
She opened her mouth to say sothing more, but ultimately didn’t say anything.
With Mrs. Cheng silent, Cheng Li finally could calm down and think about her future path. The mother and daughter faced each other silently, without saying a word, until the door opened again and Big Head ca in with a man who had a rat-like face.
As soon as the man entered the room, his eyes fell on Cheng Li. Though Cheng Li looked sowhat disheveled, her appearance was okay, and she should fetch a good price.
After examining Cheng Li, his eyes fell on Mrs. Cheng. A woman of her age, still acceptable, so people have a thing for this type.
"Brother Wang, what do you think? Are you satisfied with these two?" Big Head glanced at the man, knowing what was on his mind, and asked with a smile.
"They’re okay!" Brother Wang nodded and then said to Big Head, "You see, I’m an old custor, could there be a discount on the price?"
"Brother Wang, you need to talk to Sister Hua about that personally."
"Alright, then let’s go, we’ll find Sister Hua."
As they spoke, they left. Cheng Li watched Brother Wang’s departing figure, her eyes flickering as she pondered sothing.
anwhile, Mrs. Cheng sneaked a glance at Cheng Li, seeming to want to speak but holding back.
Cheng Li noticed Mrs. Cheng’s expression but said nothing. At the mont, she was considering whether she should find a way through that man just now, to have him let her go.
However, there was no rush for that; first, they needed to get out of here.
Soon, the man returned, evidently after negotiating the price. The Cheng Family mother and daughter were then taken out of the room, but not before being fed a pill by Sister Hua’s people.
After swallowing the pill, the mother and daughter quickly passed out and were subsequently taken away by Brother Wang.
