Now reading: Chapter 847: The Death of a Black Hole from Rebirth of the Super Battleship, a Sci-fi novel by Rainbow Gate.

The entire Large Magellanic Cloud was destroyed in this unspeakably violent explosion. Several hundred million stars, along with even greater numbers of planets and asteroids, as well as the fewer in number but far more powerful extre celestial bodies, all perished in this upheaval. The detection equipnt Xiao Yu had left behind in advance recorded the entire process of the galaxy’s destruction. They continued working until they themselves were affected and destroyed.

“It is finally over.” Xiao Yu let out a soft sigh. Xiao Yu knew that the Microscopic Civilization had certainly been completely annihilated. Even he himself could not withstand such a violent explosion, much less the non-war-related Microscopic Civilization.

Xiao Yu remained in the process of fleeing at high speed. The propagation speed of spatial tremors far exceeded the speed of light. Even though Xiao Yu could now travel at more than one thousand tis light speed, he still did not dare relax his guard. If he fled even a little too slowly, the violent spatial fluctuations would catch up to Xiao Yu and tear him apart as well.

The destruction of the Large Magellanic Cloud would certainly affect a region several million light years in diater nearby, which ant that the Milky Way Galaxy would also be affected by this event. But to what degree it would be affected, Xiao Yu did not know. After all, this was an unprecedented event, and Xiao Yu had no reference point by which to asure it.

Xiao Yu had been closely monitoring the entire explosion process, trying to find so unusual sign within it. Behind this act of attack, there was also the aning of another scientific experint. The destruction of a small universe would cause even the Rules originally existing inside it to vanish completely. Within the main universe, the destruction of an entire galaxy might perhaps produce a similar phenonon.

The destruction of one galaxy could basically be confird as incapable of affecting the Rules of the entire main universe, but producing changes to the Rules within a small region was possible. What Xiao Yu needed to do was identify these changes to the Rules, summarize their patterns, and ultimately develop rule-type weapons himself.

At this mont, the detection instrunts Xiao Yu had left around the Large Magellanic Cloud had all been destroyed. While Xiao Yu’s main fleet fled at extrely high speed, it was also closely watching the subsequent developnt of this event through the related instrunts of the deep-space network detection array. The Large Magellanic Cloud had already vanished. At this mont, what appeared before Xiao Yu was chaos.

This was a true chaos, as if heaven and earth had not yet separated, as if nothing had yet taken shape. The environnt within the Large Magellanic Cloud must be extrely intense. This was obvious. But to what degree it had beco extre, Xiao Yu had no way of knowing.

Xiao Yu was deeply contemplating a piece of image data. It was footage captured before the detector had been destroyed. In that image, under the illumination of the stars filling the sky, a certain dark thing seed faintly to exist in one region. This was a black hole.

This black hole had a mass dozens of tis that of the sun. It had originally been wandering through the empty galaxy, moving along its own orbit. But in the next mont, the violent spatial explosion occurred, and so strange change imdiately took place around it.

The captured data showed that after the violent spatial explosion occurred, the distorted space around this black hole seed to briefly calm down, and the ‘size’ of the black hole itself seed to shrink a little.

The size of a black hole is infinitely small, but if one takes its event horizon as the dividing line, then the space around it can be divided into inside the black hole and outside the black hole. At the event horizon, the escape velocity is exactly equal to the speed of light. Inside the event horizon, the escape velocity is greater than the speed of light. Because the speed of light cannot be exceeded, any matter that crosses the event horizon can never erge again.

What Xiao Yu saw was precisely such a scene. In the instant after the spatial explosion occurred, the event horizon of the black hole shrank a little, as if the volu of this black sphere had shrunk a little.

Xiao Yu could confirm that at that mont, the mass of this black hole had not decreased at all. Since its mass had not decreased, then its event horizon should not have changed either. Yet at that mont, its event horizon had indeed beco a little smaller.

“This ans that, at that mont, the speed of light around this black hole increased.” Xiao Yu thought silently.

If the speed of light increased, then the event horizon of the black hole would shrink. This was obviously true.

The destruction of this black hole happened in only an instant. Under the violent spatial fluctuations, its volu was rapidly shrinking, which ant that the speed of light was rising higher and higher. In the end, the speed of light beca so high that the black hole could no longer remain stable. In the end, it could not escape the fate of death. Like the other celestial bodies, it too was swallowed by endless energy.

“It seems the thing I suspected is true. An extrely high energy level really can affect the Rules, causing certain changes in them. If the energy level is high enough, I could even return the entire universe to chaos and make this universe operate according to Rules I formulate. When the universe first began, in the extrely brief period just after the Big Bang, was the situation perhaps not too different from what is happening here?”

A galaxy is large, but compared to the entire universe it is ultimately nothing. The changes to the Rules Xiao Yu observed lasted only for an instant, and after that instant everything returned to normal. This was obviously due to the influence of the main universe’s Rules. What exactly this ant, and what relationship existed between the two, Xiao Yu still had no way of knowing.

Xiao Yu continued closely observing the Large Magellanic Cloud. At this mont, the Rules inside it had already returned to normal, so certain reactions and changes governed by the existing Rules of the main universe had begun to occur. After space had been blasted open into a huge hole, it rapidly began repairing itself. Vast amounts of energy transford back into space, filling in this empty area, while matter began condensing again. In an extrely short ti, it condensed into fundantal particles, and then the fundantal particles began combining with one another, beginning to form the simplest elent in the universe, hydrogen.

With things developing this way, Xiao Yu could basically determine the future developnt of the Large Magellanic Cloud. In the visible future, the Large Magellanic Cloud would beco an enormous hydrogen cloud. Within this hydrogen cloud, hundreds of millions of first-generation stars would once again be born. After those stars reached the end of their lifespans, they would explode, scattering the other elents ford by nuclear fusion throughout the galaxy. Those heavy elents would once again participate in various transformations, eventually evolving into a colorful and diverse galactic world.

During this process, intelligent life might also be born. Presumably, once they possessed a certain scientific foundation, they would be very puzzled by how unusual the Large Magellanic Cloud was. They might never have the chance to know that the Large Magellanic Cloud had already been reborn once.

This was a genuine rebirth. Within this galaxy, under Xiao Yu’s control, the scene of the birth of the universe had played out once again in the Large Magellanic Cloud, although only in a simplified and miniaturized form.

“There is nothing more to be done here. The things that happened in the Milky Way Galaxy and the Androda Galaxy, although bizarre and difficult to imagine, did in fact happen. If I continue to stay here, it will serve no purpose. So it is ti to leave. To continue my journey, to explore all of these unknowns. If the Pegasus Civilization, the Divine Ark Civilization, and the others still exist, then I will find them. As for the solar system and Earth…”

At this mont, nearly one hundred years had passed since the explosion of the Large Magellanic Cloud. Xiao Yu had already digested all the information obtained from this upheaval. But when it ca ti to leave, Xiao Yu looked in the direction of the Milky Way Galaxy and fell into deep thought.

The Milky Way Galaxy had also been affected by this event. Xiao Yu observed that one of the Milky Way Galaxy’s spiral arms had already shown a slight tendency to deviate from its original orbit. It could be predicted that over the evolution of events in the coming tens of millions or even hundreds of millions of years, this spiral arm would deviate more and more, eventually moving away from the galactic disk.

This ant that the orbits of several billion or even more than ten billion stars had been altered. Changes in orbit would bring changes in destiny. These stars would have developnt possibilities entirely different from before.

As for whether this change was good or bad, only ti could judge that.

“It is better to leave the solar system and Earth here. New apen have already appeared on Earth. Perhaps they will once again walk a different path from before. I should not interfere with their evolutionary trajectory.” After thinking for a while, Xiao Yu made his decision, then adjusted the course of his fleet and sailed toward another place.

At the sa ti, within the Triangulum Galaxy, the leader of the Dark Star Civilization was holding a highest-classified eting with several top scientists.

“Leader, ‘it’ is undoubtedly what we usually call a causal weapon, or philosophical weapon. The latest monitoring results tell us that the Large Magellanic Cloud has already been destroyed. After we infused it with enough energy and issued the command to destroy the Large Magellanic Cloud, it really did destroy the Large Magellanic Cloud. But for now, we cannot confirm whether ‘it’ belongs to the first type of philosophical weapon or the second type of philosophical weapon.”

“This is very important to our civilization.” This scientist spoke sowhat hurriedly. “If it is a second type philosophical weapon, then that is fine. The destruction of the Large Magellanic Cloud would not require any cause at all. But if it belongs to the first type of philosophical weapon, then that ans that within our Local Group, there exists a terrifying civilization with enough power to destroy an entire galaxy… The technological level of this civilization must certainly already surpass ours…”
