"Heheh, I'm glad you're happy Sofia," Alma smiled. "You need to smile sotis, you're so grumpy! Let's enjoy our lives even if a little bit more, ok?"
"S-Sure... Thank you Alma," nodded Sofia. "Y-You're... you're really cute, thank you... can I hug you?"
"E-Eh? Ah, sure..." Alma let Sofia hug her.
"You're too cute Alma, I don't deserve you!" Sofia cried, hugging little Alma tightly.
"Heheh, I'm glad you think that Sof!" Alma said. "Thank you for being my friend..."
"I won't leave you three ever again..." Sofia said, as she hugged Emily right after. "I wanted to hug you too Emily!"
"A-Ah! Sure..." Emily hugged her, patting Sofia's back. "There, there! Co on, stop being such a crybaby. It's alright Sof."
"Still, you're really strong, you're always so strong I sotis was jealous of your personality..." sighed Sofia. "That you probably had a much better family than ... that you lived a happier life. But I was dumb, sorry..."
"A-Ah, hahah! It's fine!" Emily laughed. "Well I did have a more... err, energetic family? But I wouldn't call that chaotic bundle of brats and two stupid parents a better family than yours! I'm sure your mom loved you lots and your dad still loves ya! You just gotta talk with the old fart. Like, having a heart to heart for once!"
"Aaah... I don't know, I'm scared, he's so weird sotis..." Sofia sighed. "But I might try... maybe."
Then she looked at , her eyes about to cry again.
"Maria, can I?"

I spread my arms, as she happily jumped over and hugged , and I hugged her back.
These girls are so corny...
But sohow, this friendship, and this atmosphere...
It's really healing deep down, a lot.
I don't know how to explain it.
My family, the people I love, and my beloved daughter also have been healing too, a lot! And I an it!
But this is... kind of sothing they couldn't create, I guess it might be related to my childhood traumas, and how I never had true friends back then.
Reliving my high school years with these girls and having such a warm friendship with them is kind of... very heartwarming.
It complents all the other love I've felt and received from my family.
But I guess maybe because they're just girl, and don't co from that world of war and destruction, maybe their intentions feel so much more...

It's just a nice thing to feel, my heart... my heart feels nice too.

"Since we fought back then that I've always felt kind of... jealous of you, Maria..." sighed Sofia. "I'm really... I'm really sorry. I just... always compared myself to you and always felt so bad, because you were so much better in everything... I-I never saw who you truly were past your achievents or your strength. I never... realized that you were just a nice friend."
"Aww," I sighed. "I'm doing what I can... I-I guess. And sorry about what happened before... with Jonathan."
"Ah, please forget about that..." she sighed, covering her face. "I was so dumb... I don't even really like Jonathan. I was simply saying I liked him because... well, because he was popular and handso. I thought that might make seen as... I don't know, higher status? I was stupid... I-I hope you can be happy with him, Maria... If you truly love him..."
"I will," I smiled, patting her head and giving her a kiss on her nose. "Sofia, you're very beautiful yourself though, I'm sure you can charm any boy you set your mind into. So don't feel insecure about yourself."
"A-Ah, M-Maria! Did you had to kiss like that..." Sofia blushed a lot, looking elsewhere, even though she was sitting on my legs right now.
"Heh, you're just a cutie so I couldn't help it, sorry, sorry," I giggled, patting her head again. "Feel better now, crybaby Sofia?"
"I-I'm fine... And don't call crybaby! Ugh, this'll be the last ti I cry in front of you gals!" she sighed covering her face in embarrassnt.
"Hehehe, don't worry crybaby Sof, we'll rember it forever," Emily teased her.
"It's nice you opened up so much!" Alma nodded. "You even called cute a lot... I'm so flattered!"
"Uwaah, did I said that just before?! I can't believe it, I let my emotions say everything out of my mouth..." she groaned in embarrassnt. "Ah, okay, good night! I-I'm going back to my room, can't handle this anymore!"
She ran away right after that...
"I guess so aspects about her will never change, huh?" Emily sighed.
"Yeah, but she's still our Sof!" Alma nodded.
"I suppose so," I said. "Anyway, you girls should go to sleep now, honestly."
"Yeah we'll do," Emily agreed. "Thanks for everything again, Maria."
"Yep! I was so hungry..." Alma nodded.
"Ah, it's fine, please go rest."
As I opened the door and the girls walked out, they stopped and kissed my face, each side.

It was a bit sudden, so I got caught off-guard...
"See ya!"
"G-Goodnight Maria...!"
"Ah, yes, goodnight girls," I waved my hand.
Well, that was cute as hell...
After they moved out, I was finally able to rest once and for all.
I cuddled at Partner's side, while Nyx and Arachne slept behind , hugging my back.
I kissed Partner's cute sleeping face and snuggled my face on her neck and shoulders, she
slled like roses.
"Hm..."
She was half-asleep, as she moved towards and hugged tightly, kissing my lips.
Ultimately I ended wrapping my legs around hers and giving her a lot of warmth.
Ah, this is nice, I wanted this...
Tomorrow is the third day, we'll probably do even more things.
I hope we can complete this trial and save this world.
That's what I want to do.
