Darkness engulfed it all, nightmare essence constantly pouring from within its endless corridors, the massive Nightmare Demon Manor stood floating in the middle of the Nightmare Void, unmoved, unfazed, existing and at the sa ti, not existing.
A fixed point within the Nightmare Void, a place of "what ifs" where the concentration of all of humanity's darkest emotions, desires, and sins gather and fester into sothing that threatens to engulf the world, a living curse.
Yet the curse prevails, and the Nightmare Realms expand, the ans for the Void to reach the mortal plane, each crack but a hand, an arm to reach further, to grab humanity and asphyxiate them with their own hatred, fear, sorrow, and sins.
The Nightmares, rely born from this endlessly festering and expanding Void of Hatred continue to grow, and they continue to aim for humanity. As they, ultimately, desire nothing but to fulfill their maker's greatest wish, the end of their kind.
And among them all, the wisest, the most cunning, the most intelligent, those unique enough to represent a complete aspect of fear and nightmares, they are known as Demons, Nightmare Demons.
Sophisticated, at least so, intelligent, most of the ti, cunning, definitely. Nightmare Demons seek nothing but to end humanity and replace them with their own kind, to claim Earth as their own realm.
And so they plot, and so they sche, and so they are now within this Manor, born from the power of their strongest, a fixed point within even the void, connecting to hundreds of different Nightmare Realms, doors.
"Hmm..."
A massive mass of flesh and wombs with the body of a woman on top constantly produced more and more eggs, as her massive maws were feed with large quantities of Dream Cores, harvested from Dream Warriors across the globe.
"It seems that the harvest has been rather fruitful, the all-out attack has mostly worked."
A man with a slender and tall body analyzed several notes he had on his hand, his pitch-black hands, made of soot and nightmares swirling together, gently moved the paper to read better. His face was pitch black, in fact every inch of his skin was pitch black, he resembled a black silhouette rather than anything else, but he wore regal nobleman clothes of blue and purple color, he liked extravagant colors.
His pointy horns, the longest and most majestic of them all resembled a crown, as he gazed at the papers with his completely black eyes.
"Over four hundred Dream Warriors killed today, good," he smiled, nodding. "The targeted attacks seem to be working wonders..."
He smiled as he glanced at the countless doors across his manor.
"With those doors, it has beco incredibly easy to catch them off guard and kill them off dad!"
A young Nightmare Demon boy walked towards his father, he was like him, completely made of darkness and nightmares, of soot.
"It is, isn't it? I unfortunately can't use this as much as I would wish..." the nightmare demon sighed. "I lack the energy you see. And if I absorbed the dream hearts then it wouldn't even be worth it... We can only do this for a few more days, before I empty my reserves."
"Then it should be more than enough for the plan to be set in motion, my liege," said a large knight-like nightmare demon by his side, wearing full on black armor.
"Hmm... You know? Although they're our inferiors, eating hundreds of thousands of Nightmares made feel really bad," the nightmare demon sighed, dropping the papers into the ground. "Perhaps the reason they're so rare now is that it created a false sense of security... However, I don't think I'll be able to do it again. It was simply... too much for , you know? At the end, they will be inheriting the world with us, once the humans are finally gone. So unlike the humans, we should treat these animals better."
"Wise words," nodded another nightmare demon, a slender woman with long hair resembling snakes and even longer claws. "I wonder though, have you known anything about Beatriz, my king? Are you not worried about your daughter?"
"Beatriz... Who was that?" the King wondered. "You said my daughter... Ah yes, I did have soone like that... Hah, well, although she was born from my wife, she was quite... well, a little thing I didn't care much about. She was... too disappointingly weak. I couldn't care less what happened to her. But why? did sothing actually happen?"
"She's been missing for so ti now..." said the woman. "This has... never happened before in the previous loops."
"Hm..." the King wondered, looking around. "Indeed, sothing odd is happening... Also, now that I rember, why... just why couldn't anybody take a single Dream Heart from that Academy of prodigies? At this point it should have already been overrun!"
"We've received reports that the Nightmare Doors won't easily open there, my liege," said the knight-like nightmare demon. "Only one of us managed to get there, or well, three of them, the triples of the elents. But they were promptly... slain by the students. After that, we were unable to get through their barriers."
"Hah... so their barriers are still strong enough to repel my Nightmare Magic, how amusing," the King laughed. "Very amusing... Oh well, we do have a good friend here that could tell us more about this, no? She has helped us a lot already. Teaching us the way to create more of our kind quickly, and even teaching the technique to devour hundreds of thousands of Nightmares, is it not, our accomplice? Traitor of Humanity?"
"Please... Don't call with such a strange na," sighed the girl sitting over a wheelchair while drinking so whine. "Ah, I don't even need this no?"
She stood up, walking into a Nightmare Door and reaching a beautiful Dream Realm of grasslands and forests, very reminiscent of... Sofia's Dream with her parents.
"A pity this didn't work like you wanted, girl," the slender Nightmare Demon woman giggled. "But the place is nice, isn't it?"
"Yes, yes..." the human woman sighed. "What's been happening right now might be because of them... unlike all previous Transmigrators, they're actually very powerful. They are most likely the ones that also captured Beatriz. Well, not like you care, right?"
"Hahah," laughed the King, then he beca overly serious. "Stop playing gas with ... human."
His furious crimson eyes glowed brightly.
"Tell everything you know about them! I will not suffer another defeat! I will not go through another loop! If I have to, we will kill them with our bare hands."
"Heh..."
The woman smiled, throwing away the glass of wine into the grasslands, and beginning to
run around, dancing.
"Hahahaha!"
She was not even intimidated by his threat.
"After dying so much, do you ever think I care about your threats, King? Please..."
"Hmph..."
The King's gigantic aura quickly went back to normal.
"Yes, I suppose so. We're equals here, right? So please, do tell . I'll make sure to solve any problems you're having with your plan as well."
"Hmm~ Is that so?"
The woman sat over the grasslands, looking into the sky.
"They're very strong, yes... but they lack the power to stop the end from happening... Without
a doubt, this'll be the last loop. The Nightmare Curse that Humanity inflicted upon
themselves... shall consu it all."
"Hahaha, right..."
"Humans are truly scary."
"Sotis I believe they're more vile than us."
