Sofia attacked from afar and kept the Nightmare Demon down and without the ability to easily move.

Then, with Emily, they attacked his head, infusing their elental powers into the wounds they made inside of his skull.

His head was massive, the size of a car, so even with their strongest blow, it wouldn’t had killed him.

Therefore, they filled him with as much Electricity and Holy Light as possible, aiming to make his head explode into pieces.

However, as it attempted to escape attacking them with miasma, Alma appeared.

She used her freezing powers to instantly freeze the miasma, stopping the nightmare demon from doing anything funny.

At the sa ti, Martina used her newly discovered ability, fusing her illusions into her puppet and creating physical illusions of her puppet’s hands as gigantic hands of wood.

They hurt for real and were strong for real too, which helped her hold the monster in place, becoming unable to move on his own as easily as before.

And lastly, Alma used her freezing powers to paralyze the nightmare demon, it helped him to be fat, aning he had a lot of internal water to freeze easily.

And well, once he was completely frozen and unable to fight back at all, his head and the rest of his body exploded.

The massive lard ball was out of the picture, dead, forever, chao.

BOOOMMM!!!

As the explosion spread everywhere, black smoke slowly dissipated, the leftover Nightmare Essence, and then a big jewel was left behind.

"Well there it is! Isn’t that one pretty big?" I wondered, looking at the crystal. "Ah right, are you girls fine?"

"W-We’re fine... Ugh..." Sofia groaned. "I think we went a bit too overboard there..."

"We really didn’t even take risks, we went all-out from the start, hahaha!" Emily laughed.

"I think I might vomit... Ugh, I never... used my magic with so much intensity... f-freezing things other than my water is very hard..." Alma groaned.

"My head keeps spinning... W-What the hell did I do? Did I really do that with the puppet? I-I had no idea that would work!" Martina groaned, sitting on the floor.

"Hahaha! I guess you girls are a bit tired, you overdid it a bit yeah, but that helped you get out your full power and potential at the sa ti, right?" I asked with a smile. "Don’t worry, I got this."

I used [Paladin’s Life Sacrifice] to restore their health and stamina in exchange for mine, which was pretty big, so I barely felt anything.

"Oh, we’re back to normal again...?" Alma wondered. "It feels like I didn’t even get tired! H-How?"

"That’s just her ability, she transfer lifeforce to us," Sofia slowly stood up. "Maria, you don’t have to use that ability all the ti.... What if you get sick or sothing?"

"Sick?! I’m fine, haha! Don’t worry," I giggled. "More importantly, well done! You all did a good job. From Alma’s freezing to Emily and Sofia’s attacks, and also Martina’s distraction and so on. Unfortunately this fat lard we defeated didn’t left any clue about where to go... dammit, they also seed to have arrived here for a while now, so no door either."

"That’s a bit unfortunate, but there’s nothing we can do either way," Lucifer said by my side. "I suggest we continue looking for more Nightmares to hunt anyway, the more the better. We need the EXP."

"Yeah I agree!" Nyx nodded. "I hope we can et another Nightmare Demon! They’re the best training subjects."

"Y-You’re too eager, little Nyx..." Emily giggled a bit. "Well! We can continuet raining I guess? I was planning on calling it a day but that’s not training enough for these monsters."

"Yes, killing just a single Nightmare Demon takes this much effort... I would also call it a day and go rest, but I suppose that’s... Um, not within Maria’s standards," Alma said.

"Haha, you can take it easy if you want, but we’re going hunting," I said. "You can stick around or... Oh I know, if you’re tired you can ride these."

I summoned a black book from my soul, the Soul Grimoire again, and used a bunch of skeletons as ingredients to create a combined bone chira.

And then it was born, a giant centipede-like bone chira made of dozens of skeletons, mostly either from vampire skeletons or monster skeletons, mostly monsters.

"W-Woah! You can combine the bones like that?!" Alma asked. "T-That’s amazing, Maria!"

"What the hell is this thing though?" Emily asked. "Is it so sort of centipede? Made of skeletons? So creepy..."

"Yeah, I modified its interior," I said, showing them a card with the undead picture inside, this was the power of my Soul Grimoire, it allowed to register units and create them, mostly Undead.

But I can also register other people, although I cannot modify them like Undead, I can give them boosts using System Points for higher stats, and also give them greater growth potential.

I had yet to register anybody from this world though, but I was considering doing it now. Perhaps all four of these girls could benefit from a growth boost.

"You can sit inside the interior as this picture in the card shows, it has seats, look," I showed them, as the girls climbed the thing, even if with a bit of wariness, and sat inside.

"Hey isn’t this a bit comfy?" Emily wondered.

"Not bad... I guess? For sothing being made of disgusting bones..." Sofia sighed. "At least they’re not nasty at all... hardly, it seems they’re pure bone, silky."

"Of course they are, I would never make sothing disgusting for my friends to sit down on..." I facepald. "Anyway, let’s continue our training, I want to hunt as many creatures as possible!"

I quickly continued flying by the side of Lucifer and Nyx, the giant Bone Centipede moving right beneath us at a rapid pace, until...

After just twenty minutes, the Bone Centipede stopped moving.

Sothing erged from beneath the ground, shaking the floor.

"GRUOOOHHH!"

The ground shattered apart, as a giant of over twenty ters erged, covered on scales, imnse.

What the hell is this thing?
