After preparing a special Bone Chira for the trip to where we could find more Nightmare Beasts to hunt down, I quickly continued flying by the side of Lucifer and Nyx.
"Mama, when do we get to eat?" Wondered Nyx, it hasn’t been an hour since we got here.
"Dear wait a bit, we can have food later," I said. "Hmm, we could eat so of the Nightmare Beasts we hunted."
"Oooh! The tentacle-headed birds? Sounds yummy..." Nyx nodded. "I wonder how their at is if roasted..."
"Haha, I rember you roasted Nightmare Beast at in the Nightmare Realm we were trapped inside yesterday..." I giggled a bit. "What a smart girl you are."
"I am honestly shocked how she took care of you and the others..." Lucifer said. "I’m proud yeah, but I’m just amazed..."
"She’s already a very mature girl despite her age, haha," I said. "She just likes acting like a baby when we’re around, but she as taking the reins back then! She was a good leader, and a good friend."
I patted her head, giving her a chocolate bar.
"Here dear, you can have this for now."
"Oh, chocolate! I missed eating this yesterday so much! Thank you mommy!"
Indeed, Nyx acted conceited with us, but in that trial she showed she was actually a very responsible girl, she thought beyond just being a child, she took care of others, helped them, and more.
She helped everyone so much actually, and even went out of her way to defeat that Nightmare Demon all on her own, incredible.
Well, not completely on her own, there were the Snow Dragon and the Snown that helped I think?
Wait... Yeah, they helped! Where did they go?
They kind of disappeared after everything ended...
I guess they were just illusions from the Nightmare Trial all along?
It’s... well, I guess that’s fine.
Though I wish they could’ve co along.
But even if I look around even inside my Shadow Realm, they’re both gone.
I guess there’s nothing that can be done, but I think those were embodints of our Dreams, or sothing close to them.
To think that the Dreams of children could take upon such forms and shapes when we truly desired to see our beloved ones, or to be protected...
Maybe it was our innate Dream Powers manifesting in that mont, who knows.
"Aren’t you spoiling her too much?" Lucifer wondered, as he saw Nyx eating the big chocolate bar happily. It was a white and black chocolate mix bar with cookie bits.
"Oh? I an she deserves this much, she worked so hard yesterday," I said. "I owe her my life, literally."
"Hah... I suppose a few little gifts here and there won’t hurt anybody..." Lucifer nodded. "Now that we are in such a world we could perhaps purchase her stuff from here. I’ve heard there are toys for children and technology as well."
"Oh yeah! Once things settle down, and if this world... stays," I said. "Perhaps we could enjoy a small break here before departing again. Buying her toys would be nice. Back in Yggdrasil there aren’t any of such things..."
"I want to own a house where we can live together," said Lucifer. "What do you think?"
"Sounds nice~" I smiled. "But well, that’ll take so ti, and earning money... Whatever the case, let’s focus on what we’re doing right now."
"Yeah."
He nodded as we looked at the distance, the giant Bone Centipede was moving right beneath us at a rapid pace, things seed pretty peaceful to , perhaps too much.
"Hey, don’t you think things are too quiet? I can’t sense a single monster," I said.
"I agree, there’s sothing odd," Lucifer said. "It’s either that or we were sohow able to hunt down all of them and the island is empty."
"Well if that were the case then we should move to another island and-"
RUMBLE!
After just twenty minutes, the Bone Centipede stopped moving as a loud tremor echoed through the entire ground beneath us, interrupting our words.
We fell into silence, as we noticed gigantic cracks spreading through the ground, releasing a foul black aura from within.
Crack, crack...!
CRAAASH!
Sothing erged from beneath the ground, shaking the floor, massive black scaled claws tore through the ground as the aura of nightmares spread everywhere.
"GRUOOOHHH!"
The ground shattered apart, as a giant of over fifty ters erged, covered on scales, imnse. It resembled so sort of reptilian creature, large and bulky with sharp spikes on his back, a long thick tail, a dinosaur-like head, between a tyrannosaurus and a triceratops, and massive claws and legs and arms.
What the hell is this thing?
Is this a Nightmare Beast?! I had never seen sothing of this size and power before, was this thing dormant underground and was awakened by the noise or sothing?
I looked at it through my Analysis function of my System and...

This thing even had a freaking na! No way! Is it so sort of kaiju?! Now that I look at it, it sure has a cool as fuck design.
"W-What the hell is that thing?!" Alma cried from below.
"Woah it’s massive!" Emily said.
"R-Run! RUUUNNN!" Sofia cried.
"Uwaahahahh!" Martina scread loudly as she panicked.
The girls started running away, as the gigantic Garudorr glared at them and suddenly lifted his massive foot and then pushed it down, aiming to crush them like ants.
"That’s not happening, buddy!"
I swung my hands, as a pair of gigantic skeleton hands made of spectral shadows and holy light slamd the monster’s face, slapping it as if it were a child.
BAAAM! BAAAM! BAAAM!
"GRYYAAAAH!"
I used the power of my unique martial arts to punch and slap the monstrosity away, its gigantic body collapsing on the ground, rolling over it all and even shattering several small hills.
CRAAASH!
Until it finally reached the beaches, glaring at with furious anger, its sharp jaws showing his even sharper fangs.
"What? Are you angry or sothing?"
"ROOOAAARRRR!"
As it roared, its spikes began glowing bright purple, unleashing a massive breath attack from its jaws resembling a beam of photonic energy.
BOOOMMM!!!
