Chapter 1705: Chapter 3: Not Bad, You Have So Talent!

The Stellar Battlefield is vast, spanning about seven to eight hundred light-years.

Around this area, various major domains and broad domains have extended their tentacles, with plenty of treasures and resources within, attracting countless strong ones to co here, so to seek fortune, so to avoid calamity, and others who are native creatures.

There has never been any power that can clearly know how many stellar-level beings are inside the Stellar Battlefield, because there are too many stellar-level beings coming and going, and no power can dominate here because it is not allowed by others.

White Seed Star is a planet led by a stellar-level strong being on the edge of this Stellar Battlefield.

Fortunately, with a stellar-level guarding, the political system of White Seed Star has been stable for at least several hundred years, with no wars occurring.

And although White Seed Star is called a planet, in fact, the area it governs is quite vast; the entire stellar system is under the jurisdiction of White Seed Star.

“Did everyone hear? Starting tomorrow, we will be mining on the edge of the galaxy, so everyone should put in so effort. If you do well, you might even have a chance to get a recomndation letter and beco a White Seed Star University student. Do you know what a university is? It is the threshold to the path of strong ones; in the future, it’s possible to beco a phoenix on a tree.”

Inside a small spacecraft flying within the White Seed Star System, more than a hundred creatures were listening to the speech of a creature at the top.

“What beco a phoenix on a tree, over these years, no one ever really beca a university student.”

Below, a creature resembling an octopod monster about thirty centiters high, shook its head oddly.

He was too small, even though the surrounding creatures were rely one or two ters high, his body, only over thirty centiters high, was still subrged.

“Keep it down, have you forgotten the last ti the captain hung you up and beaten you?” Next to him, a creature resembling a squirrel over forty centiters high urgently signaled him to keep quiet.

The small octopod creature wanted to say sothing more but only mumbled a sound and said nothing else.

This spacecraft was clearly a mineral mining ship.

In the Stellar Battlefield, resources are abundant. It is said that millions of years ago, several major domains joined forces with a broad domain’s legion to battle here, and as millions of years passed, the resources left on the battlefield from the war have enriched countless existences over the millennia.

And an ordinary planet could have likely been part of where the ancient army was constructed, even altering the mineral energies, so the mining value is imnse.

“Huh? I think I just saw sothing fly across the starry sky, could it be my eyes playing tricks?”

The small octopod creature, after the captain’s speech, went to his post and then discovered sothing unusual.

“Uh, it’s probably my eyes playing tricks, or else it’s a small asteroid in the universe. Our spacecraft doesn’t set off alarms for small asteroids.”

He gave up his discovery. After all, such cases were too frequent; he couldn’t just report every unusual sight, could he? Otherwise, the chances of being hung up and beaten might increase.

But what he didn’t know was that at the mont he turned his eyes, a figure, like a ghost, quietly ca aboard this small spacecraft from the place he found suspicious.

This was a bipedal creature that walked upright.

He had a head of black, silky hair, and beneath his cold gaze was an indescribable sense of pressure.

“So it’s a resource mining ship…”

Upon boarding this spacecraft, Jia Yan casually glanced around.

No matter how much the species might change in the universe, so things never change, like the thirst for resources.

“The language is also a roughly exchangeable lingua franca. It seems that the universal language I learned will at least ensure that I won’t have any trouble communicating with others in the Milky Way.”

The one who boarded this spacecraft was, of course, an avatar of Jia Yan.

In reality, Jia Yan currently had three avatars aboard the Adisa, all crafted using vast resources mobilized by Country of Taia scientists during his stay there.

While the strength of the three avatars is only a sub-level, the combat power they can unleash is almost comparable to the pseudo-stellar level. Therefore, on this small mining ship, there is no fear of being discovered by any strong ones.

The ship is not large, and the strongest one on board is rely high-space level, which, for Jia Yan’s avatar, can be easily wiped out with a single glance.

Upon coming to this galaxy, Jia Yan did not directly appear with his true body because he clearly understood that if even he were in control of a territory, he would be very nervous if a sudden stellar-level strong one appeared.

So Jia Yan first sent an avatar to test the waters.

Not long after, this avatar left the mining ship.

When the mining ship reached their destination, the leader discovered that there was already a strange creature there waiting for them.

“Huh, are you the survivor from the last mining ship that crashed? Well then, since you’re alive, you can join our mining team.”

The leader saw this creature but didn’t have too many questions because such situations occurred occasionally.

The creature that the leader agreed to assimilate into the team was indeed Jia Yan!

During his previous infiltration, he obtained intelligence from the other ship that this mining ship was only temporarily stationed here because the previous one had crashed.

Moreover, in this galaxy, ordinary creatures almost never have proper identity information due to the vast mobility of personnel.

So, no one would seriously question Jia Yan’s identity, since, after all, he’s just pretending to be a mber of the mining team.

“The minerals to be mined are here, make sure you all perform well for .”

“Don’t be afraid of those so-called Space Ghosts. If they dare to appear, our defense squadron will definitely protect you.”

The leader is a high-level Star Space Existence. When he ca to the Mining Star, he didn’t work at all but patrolled near the mining team with several other star space-level creatures.

“I hope we don’t encounter any Space Ghosts this ti. Last ti our team encountered Space Ghosts, eight people died.”

Beside Jia Yan’s avatar, an octopod creature sighed deeply.

“Space Ghosts, are they very powerful?”

Jia Yan looked at the temporary teammate assigned to him, while mimicking his movents to break down the minerals on the ground, and asked casually.

In fact, he wanted to ask what these Space Ghosts were, but asking that directly would surely expose his lack of common knowledge, so he probed indirectly.

“Space Ghosts, well, their strength varies. Isn’t this quite common on our Stellar Battlefield? But in our White Seed Star System, the strong Space Ghosts have been wiped out. The remaining ones are not that strong and are just a bit more powerful than ordinary creatures.”

The octopod creature explained to Jia Yan, though his hands didn’t stop moving as he spoke.

As Jia Yan listened to his explanation, his gaze drifted aside.

“Is this what you an by Space Ghosts?”

He suddenly asked in a mysterious tone.

The octopod creature looked in the direction Jia Yan was pointing and his expression imdiately changed dramatically!

“Ahh, Space, Space Ghosts!”

He scread in horror, but beside him, Jia Yan’s eyes were filled with a hint of curiosity.

Because in his eyes, these so-called Space Ghosts looked entirely chanical, and were obviously standard machines, each about the size of a small bee, flying around the starry sky chaotically.

Jia Yan released his brainwave power and curiously wondered.

Because the place where the Space Ghosts appeared was actually a twisted subspace, the mightier ones were larger, and the weaker ones were smaller, but they appeared in large numbers, and combined, their power was much stronger than ordinary creatures!

“Quickly, quick, report to the head, Space Ghosts have appeared on the Mining Star, they will soon attack us, we must quickly report!”

The octopod creature shouted in panic to Jia Yan next to him, imdiately fleeing back in the direction they ca from.

Jia Yan and the octopod creature were assigned to work in a large canyon area, with no companions in at least a hundred kiloters around. Now, trying to escape, as Jia Yan intentionally only used the power of ordinary Earth people, how could they outrun the overwhelming swarm of Space Ghosts?

“They’re here! Damn it, quick, let’s fight while we retreat!”

The octopod creature, with a body only about thirty centiters tall, sohow ran at a speed of over ten ters per second.

But beside him, Jia Yan did not fall behind at all, as his two legs ran almost like a blur, keeping close behind this octopod monster.

However, such speed was almost like standing still to the Space Ghosts chasing from behind.

A group of fifty or sixty of them, ca up behind Jia Yan and his companion, and then with an attacking formation, they were ready to strike!

“Die!”

Jia Yan’s eyes flashed with brilliance, and he kicked out with a force surpassing that of ordinary Earth people’s kicking skills!

As a Stellar Level, even though he deliberately suppressed his strength, the combat power he could exhibit at this mont was still extraordinarily strong, almost perfect in execution.

Bang! Bang!

In the poisonous air of the starry sky, a series of sharp sounds echoed as over thirty chanical creatures, like dumplings, fell to the ground.

“Huh?”

The escaping octopod creature ahead was montarily stunned to see Jia Yan’s demonstration of powerful combat power.

“Amazing, I clearly didn’t sense your brainwave power reaching Earth Level, yet you’re able to use ordinary physical strength to kill so many Space Ghosts, your combat talent seems impressive!”

He praised Jia Yan with eyes shining brightly.

“Heh, this little talent of mine isn’t worth much in the eyes of the team leader and the others. Alright, enough talk, let’s focus on escaping!”

Jia Yan shrugged modestly.

“You’re right, let’s escape first! But your combat talent is so amazing, I might be able to ntion it to the leader, and maybe he would recomnd you to beco a university student. After all, becoming a student ans that even if you don’t do well after graduation, you could at least beco a mining team leader!”
