Now reading: Chapter 1706 - 4: The True Form of the Space Ghosts! from Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito, a Sci-fi novel by Step leap.

The two continued to flee for their lives.

Under Jia Yan’s precise control, the strength he exhibited was just slightly beyond the physical abilities of an average Earth human.

Yet this physical ability, under his super combat prowess, seed like even if all Earth people ca at him, they could not defeat him. It made the so-called Space Ghosts chasing him fall one after another, either by his fists or his feet.

"The old lair of these Space Ghosts is actually in subspace..."

Jia Yan was not as nervous as the Octopod creature beside him. If he really made a move, with one Brainwave Power, all the Space Ghosts on this small Mining Star would be completely annihilated.

He was just pondering over the true nature of these Space Ghosts.

The two fought, while the Octopod creature also took out its laser gun, quickly picking off the Space Ghosts in the sky.

Soon, the camp appeared in their sight.

By this ti, many organisms had already returned to the camp.

"Humph, have the Space Ghosts appeared? Co, brothers, we have work to do!"

The Star Space Level leader, leading several Star Space Level subordinates, jumped out from the camp that had just been hastily built. Yet, upon seeing Jia Yan, his eyes lit up!

"This guy, I rember he’s the survivor on this planet, right? Didn’t expect his strength to be quite good."

He flew in front of Jia Yan: "Now I’m urgently enlisting you into my team to cooperate with us in annihilating these Space Ghosts. Once this is over, I’ll give you a university recomndation spot! Follow ."

After speaking, he flew forward, seemingly not at all worried that Jia Yan wouldn’t follow.

"University spot?"

Behind him, Jia Yan was not as excited as the leader imagined but was sowhat at a loss.

"It’s actually a university spot. Jia Yan, you’re so lucky. This is sothing most people can’t get. If you receive it, you might beco a strong leader like him in the future!"

The Octopod creature looked at Jia Yan with eyes of envy and jealousy, wishing it could take his place.

"Oh, so this ans I can get closer to the higher-ups, right?"

Jia Yan smiled in his heart. Anyway, for him, this situation posed no danger. If he could get closer to the higher-ups of this White Seed Star, he could get a clearer understanding of the strength of the White Seed Star ruler, which was only beneficial to him.

So he didn’t linger too long and directly followed the footsteps of the flying Star Space Level experts.

"Captain, this guy actually dared to follow along, how amusing. He doesn’t even have Earth-level ability. Does he really think he can be of help to us?"

Among the several Star Space Level beings flying ahead, one looked back at Jia Yan, almost bursting into laughter.

As they slaughtered the Space Ghosts, they also watched Jia Yan behind them.

To the ordinary miners, the formidable Space Ghosts were re fodder to them.

"Hehe, you guys shouldn’t underestimate this guy. Take a closer look; his moves are almost executed at will, achieving an incredibly high level. I can assure you none of you were as tough as him before reaching Earth-level."

The High-space Level captain smiled as he spoke to a few subordinates around: "Anyway, my recomndation spot is about to expire. Sending a guy like him over doesn’t matter — think of it as a goodwill gesture. Maybe this guy will have a chance to repay my kindness in the future."

"Repay kindness? Captain, you’d better give us the goodwill instead, hahaha."

Several Star Space Level experts laughed, but they didn’t voice any objections. After all, to them, the ’Tiny’ human running on the ground killing Space Ghosts was utterly insignificant.

Even the leader shared a similar view; enlisting Jia Yan was just a spur-of-the-mont decision when he left the camp.

Of course, he never considered that the ’little guy’ he randomly picked was, in his true form, a Cosmic Level Being far larger and more powerful by tens of thousands of tis than themselves!

Otherwise, he would definitely be scared out of his wits.

This wave of Space Ghosts was not particularly strong, and thus they soon disappeared gradually, after inflicting so damage on the camp.

"These things, they ca for energy?"

Using his imnsely formidable Cosmic Level strength, Jia Yan observed the dynamics in subspace. He saw those machines, tiny as honeybees, continuously stealing energy, and even minerals were not overlooked. After a rapid plunder, they withdrew from the battlefield.

"You’re called Jia Yan, right? Not bad. After such a big battle, there wasn’t a single injury. I’ll give you that university spot. I hope you study well and don’t disappoint my expectations of you."

The leader flew before Jia Yan, seemingly very satisfied with him.

Even the several Star Space Level beings beside him looked at Jia Yan with a certain degree of astonishnt. Because they had seen earlier that, though Jia Yan’s strength wasn’t formidable, his combat skills were extraordinarily mysterious. Although limited by his body and unable to unleash powerful combat power, the Space Ghosts attacking Jia Yan couldn’t harm him either.

"Young man, work hard. With your combat power, you’ll surely amaze everyone in the university. Who knows, we might have to rely on you in the future."

A cosmic level being displayed friendliness towards Jia Yan.

Several others smiled similarly. To them, it’s not difficult to be friendly with Jia Yan, who has strong combat techniques. After all, cosmic level beings aren’t extrely powerful experts, and there’s no sense of pride among them. Who knows, Jia Yan might surpass them in the future?

Regarding the approval from this group of cosmic level beings, Jia Yan just engaged in so casual conversation, showing neither humility nor disrespect, which ironically made the cosmic level ones regard him more highly.

Jia Yan didn’t pay much attention to everything before him; instead, he focused his heart and mind on his true body within subspace.

"What exactly is this so-called space ghost?"

Jia Yan casually controlled his avatar and then had the Adisa quietly approach the subspace location where the space ghost appeared.

For other beings, a space ghost might be sothing that’s impossible or at least very difficult to capture. But for Jia Yan, it’s different. He himself is a sub-dinsion organism, and combined with the Adisa’s subspace navigation ability, he could easily approach the space ghost’s true body location...

Before long, the Adisa, piloted by Jia Yan, appeared sowhere in subspace.

Upon seeing the place where the so-called space ghost’s true body resided, Jia Yan was imdiately stunned!

"What... what is this?!"

Right before Jia Yan was a terrifyingly large spherical object that was beyond belief!

The Adisa is already considered a giant spacecraft, spanning a colossal twenty kiloters, but compared to the spherical object in front, it was nothing.

Not far from the Adisa was a massive spherical object reaching over three hundred kiloters, resembling a small planet, slowly moving through subspace.

"No, this is not ordinary interstellar material..."

After taking a closer look at the massive sphere, Jia Yan was shocked once more.

Because he discovered that the giant sphere was actually not ordinary star space material.

Instead, it was made up of nurous bee-sized chanical entities overlapping each other.

There were larger ones too, as Jia Yan sensed, that in the layer beneath, there were even a few entities reaching one or two kiloters in size.

However, the giant sphere was mostly composed of tiny bee-like chanical entities, densely packed, with an innurable quantity!

At the mont Jia Yan appeared, the tiny chanical entities within the giant sphere simultaneously noticed Jia Yan’s presence.

The bee-like small organisms, like real bees guarding their hive, rushed frantically towards Jia Yan’s location.

"No matter how many of you there are, in the face of a true expert, you are of no consequence."

In the universe, quantity is not significantly impactful against true experts, especially as those so-called space ghosts each have less than Earth-level ability. Under such circumstances, Jia Yan’s brainwave power could wipe out a swath of them.

Of course, rather than saying they die, it’s more accurate to say they cease functioning, because no matter how Jia Yan looked at them, they were rely ordinary chanical devices.

"I wonder why the people in the stellar battlefield refer to these things as space ghosts. Could it be that besides this model, there are other space ghosts?"

The entire subspace was like an onrushing tide, with bee-like chanical entities swarming towards Jia Yan’s location.

However, under the counterattack from Jia Yan’s brainwave power, they couldn’t get close to the Adisa, as the power gap was too wide.

And after these small bee-like chanical entities’ attacks proved ineffective, a few of those larger one- or two-kiloter entities within the hive-like organization finally raised their heads...

"Are we finally getting serious?"

Jia Yan noticed these few one- to two-kiloter large entities and smiled slightly, showing no fear whatsoever.

In his perception, these entities, though large, only exuded an aura of semi-permanent star level strength. Even considering the unpredictability of chanical beings, they would at most reach pseudo-stellar level, posing no threat to the current Jia Yan.

Yet, when those massive entities took flight and Jia Yan saw what lay beneath their bodies,

a flash of horror passed through his compound eyes!

"Underneath these entities, there’s sothing even larger!?"

He was taken aback because after those few giant chanical entities took flight, what was beneath them was revealed.

It turned out to be a purely biological-looking snow-white creature!

It had countless limbs, and its size under the cover of the chanics was hard to fully discern, but just the part exposed was five to six kiloters.

By conversion, the true body of this creature had to be at least over ten kiloters in size!

"My God, this is the real space ghost’s true body? Its power... has it really reached star space level!?"
