Yu Qi tried to find the child that she saw this morning. But she never saw that child during the check-up.
The next morning, during her jogging session, she saw the child again. This ti, she was closer compared to yesterday.
Yu Qi tried to call the child but the child ran faster. Then, she tried to ask Zhou Wencheng about that child. He might be knowing sothing since he was the head of the villager.
"Doctor, you see him?" Zhou Wencheng was surprised.
"Yes. Yesterday morning and this morning as well when I was jogging." Yu Qi nodded.
"Actually, she is not..."
"She? It's a girl?" Yu Qi was shocked. She did not notice that. She thought that he was a boy.
"No... It's a girl. She is not from our village. Her parent ca to our village five years ago. They were not talking much about themselves. So, we don't know much about them.
One day, we find out that the couple had died leaving their daughter alone. The daughter was so not talkative. She would mostly run after seeing people.
We usually leave the food at her house. We don't want her to die starving." Zhou Wencheng explained.
"Oh, I understand why she runs away as soon as she sees . How did her parent die?" Yu Qi wanted to know about the girl.
"The couple died when fell down the cliff. We found their bodies and bury them." Zhou Wencheng said sympathetically.
"Both of them?" Yu Qi asked again.
"Yeah." Zhou Wencheng nodded.
That girl was a cultivator. So, both of her parents should be cultivators or one of her parents should be a cultivator.
A cultivator could not die falling off the cliff. Sothing must happen to them. Neither way, their deaths were not normal.
She could not leave that girl alone like that. She would need to et the girl and talk to her.
"That girl is so skinny. Do you know her age?" Yu Qi asked again.
"Hmm... As I rember, she is 12 years old this year." Zhou Wencheng said and sighed. "She is indeed skinny. But we could not force her to eat since she would run away once she see us." He added.
Yu Qi thought for a second. She really could not let that girl alone. She would try to et her first if she had a chance.
The week program finally ca to an end. Zhou Wencheng and the villagers thanked them. They were really appreciated that.
The last night the dical team were at the village, and the village threw a goodbye party for them. There were delicious food and also alcohol.
Yu Qi took a sober pill before having the alcohol. She ended up having four glasses of alcohol. Her female colleagues were drunk except Zhong Lifen even though she was the one who drank so much.
Yu Qi and Zhong Lifen helped the female colleagues return ho and put them to sleep.
Yu Qi's phone was ringing. It was Feng Yue who called her. She stepped outside the house and did not want to disturb her female colleagues. She clicked the button to answer the call.
"Hello, Yu Qi..." Feng Yue said.
"Hmm... What's up?" Yu Qi asked.
"Yu Qi, I hear you are in Jingxi City. Is it true?" Feng Yue asked.
'Yeah. Why?" Yu Qi answered.
"You are still here?" Feng Yue wanted another confirmation.
"Here? You an you are in Jingxi City too?" Yu Qi raised her eyebrow.
"Yes. I am here in Jingxi City. When does your program end?" Feng Yue asked again.
"Actually, it is my last day at Sun Village. We will return to FINN City tomorrow as scheduled." Yu Qi said.
"You will return ho tomorrow?" Feng Yue asked.
"Yes." Yu Qi said.
"Can you postpone your return to one day later?" Feng Yue begged.
"May I know why?" Yu Qi asked.
"Actually, I have a party to attend. It is Zi Qie's family party. I want soone to go with ." Feng Yue stated.
"Why? Does your boyfriend not around?" Yu Qi asked.
"He does but I still need to soone to accompany . I rember you telling that you are going to Jingxi City for the charity program for one week. So, I am thinking to ask you to co with to the party. Can you?" Feng Yue explained.
"When is the party?" Yu Qi asked.
"Tomorrow night. Oh, I know that you might not have a dress. I will prepare it for you. So, you don't need to worry about that." Feng Yue responded.
"Hmm... You are indeed prepared." Yu Qi said. She continued. "Well, I will go with you tomorrow."
"Thank you, dear... You are my best friend." Feng Yue was happy.
"Oh, if I do not accompany you tomorrow, then I am not your best friend?" Yu Qi teased Feng Yue.
Feng Yue quickled retorted it. "Of course not... You are still my best friend."
Yu Qi laughed. "Okay... Okay.... I understand. I need to go first."
"Sure. See you tomorrow dear." Feng Yue said.
The call ended there. Yu Qi walked to the house that Pei Ruiying lived. She knew that Pei Ruiying was not drunk because he did not drink any of the alcohol tonight.
She wanted to tell him about her plan for tomorrow. It was better to tell him her plan as soon as possible.
