"Liam, you kid, how long has it been since you've been ho?" Walker rushed forward and hugged his brother tightly.

Completely opposite to his brother's appearance, Liam's cheeks were shaved even cleaner than Jack's. Although he was also wearing work clothes, he looked more like a business professional than a cowboy.

Hannah's house was originally of good quality, a sturdy brick-and-mortar bungalow like Walker's villa, capable of withstanding local natural disasters such as tornadoes and hailstorms — a stark contrast to the log cabins prevalent in California.

Large windows allowed for ample natural light, and the low-sloping roof extended into a long, open porch.

These Texas cowboys would relax on the porch, enjoying food and beer while gazing at their cattle on their ranch — a truly blissful daily routine.

It was clear that the elderly Thiago couple had diligently maintained the house. Although the wooden pillars and railings of the porch were weathered and worn, they were kept impeccably clean, and the wooden floors were well-preserved, still gleaming like new after all these years.

Jack went inside, opened the ceiling to peek at the roof's interior, and then volunteered.

The site was fully equipped with tools like a circular saw, electric planer, sander, and nail gun; Jack felt confident he could handle it easily.

"Augie can help if you want. I renovated the kitchen and bathroom myself at my house in LA."
