Now reading: Chapter 275 275: 275-Wait from Reborn: The Rookie Detective, a Action novel by jackrose.

Hiding Lindsay in the deserted school on the weekend was a bit of a case of being blind to one's own shortcomings; at least none of the BAU mbers considered this possibility.

Although Reid's map analysis included this area, its priority marking was very low when coloring it in.

It can only be said that the logic of teenagers is sotis not so rational and often unexpected, especially in this country.

"Jack, we found Ryan Phillips. He's 21 years old, attended this high school a few years ago, and was expelled for drug use."

Upon receiving JJ's call, Jack watched as Keeson rushed into the school with a gun and quickly followed.

"You'd better hurry, bring an ambulance. I have a feeling this won't end well."

"Okay, we'll be there in 10 minutes, Jack. Be careful." JJ whispered a final reminder.

After hanging up the phone, Jack thought about it and realized she made sense. He opened the trunk, grabbed a bulletproof vest with the FBI logo, put it on, and then drew his Glock and followed behind Keeson.

"Hey, did you find out exactly where they hid the person?"

Keeson glanced back at him, looking sowhat surprised. "That kid said it's on the first floor. Aren't you going to stop ?"

Jack glanced at him, gun in hand, and walked straight past him.

"My people won't be here for another ten minutes. If you're not worried about anything happening in those ten minutes, I can handcuff you here and go in to search alone."

"I'm starting to like you a little now." Keeson stopped talking nonsense, and the two of them, guns on either side, entered the teaching building.

Even on the first floor, searching was difficult for two people. There were five or six classrooms, and a bunch of other small rooms, such as changing rooms, activity rooms, teachers' lounges, and even bathrooms.

Fortunately, most of the rooms had large windows, so you could see inside without even opening the doors.

The two n crouched low, moving with small steps, quickly searching forward until they reached the end of the corridor. Jack listened intently and heard a man and a woman talking inside the n's restroom.

"Actually, I don't like Katie that much, it's you… you're special."

"Don't hide, you're finally starting to get scared, aren't you?"

"Go to hell, you can try. Whatever you do to , my dad will pay a hundredfold."

Jack carefully opened the door, trying to make as little noise as possible. The next second, Keeson rushed in.

"I'm so scared, let serve you properly first, then let's see if you can still be so stubborn, hahaha."

"Bang!"

By the ti Jack entered the n's restroom, Keeson had already smashed the guy nad Ryan Phillips to the ground with the butt of his rifle.

"Kill him, Daddy, kill this bastard." Lindsay, whose hands were tied behind her back, was helped up by Keeson.

The girl's clothes were still relatively intact, and her face had so bruises. She had been in despair, but upon seeing her father, instead of weeping, she rose from the ground and kicked the beast in the crotch.

"He's the culprit! He brought two n and assaulted Katie in front of ! I couldn't do anything! He killed Katie!"

"Katie begged him to stop, but he just laughed at her, kept laughing at her!"

Seeing Keeson's gun pointed at him, Ryan Phillips, lying on the ground, was terrified. Ignoring the excruciating pain in his groin, he pleaded repeatedly.

"No, no, I just acted impulsively. I won't do it again! Please don't kill !"

Seeing Jack enter wearing a bulletproof vest with the large yellow letters "FBI" printed on it, the beast saw him as a savior.

"Save ! Save ! This is murder! I didn't resist! He can't kill ! He can't kill !"

"Click!" Keeson cocked his shotgun.

"Shoot him! You're a cop, you can't just watch him kill ! Shoot him!"

Amid Ryan Phillips' desperate cries, Jack sighed and holstered his service weapon.

This idiot had so brains, but not many. Watching him struggle to pull up his half-pulled-down pants, lying on the ground pleading, Jack was truly speechless.

"Keeson, are you sure your testimony is important enough?"

Hearing Jack's seemingly irrelevant question, Keeson paused slightly, then smiled.

"Yes, very important."

"Okay, let's go through the motions."

Jack straightened up and, amidst the confused, surprised, and bewildered expressions of the people present, began a monotone, emotionless lecture.

"Keeson, you can't do this. He's already powerless to resist. Although he raped and murdered an innocent girl, illegally detained your beloved daughter, and tried to abuse her."

"But he's just a young man blinded by hormones, or soone with an unhappy childhood. Killing him will only give you the thrill of revenge and a little comfort to the Owens who lost their daughter; it won't bring anything more."

"Lindsay has suffered terribly these past two days. She desperately needs treatnt and psychological counseling. You should listen to her. Violence solves nothing. You need to teach her how to better protect herself in the future."

"Okay, I'm done."

Jack recited all those lines in one breath, as if reciting a script, under Ryan Phillips's increasingly desperate gaze. He then took a deep breath and added with a smile,

"I'm growing to love my job at the FBI more and more because I don't have to worry about things like carrying body caras."

"Lindsay?" Keeson glanced at his daughter.

"Huh? Yes, Daddy." Lindsay was completely bewildered by Jack's speech, and only seed to wake up from a dream after her father's reminder.

"Kill him, Take revenge for Katie."

Keeson raised his gun again, pointing it at Ryan Phillips.

"No, please, spare , I was wrong. I beg you, God." Ryan Phillips let out another desperate cry.

"Wait, I almost forgot," Jack called out again.

Ryan Phillips breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that the FBI agent in front of him had changed his mind and was going to stop him.

"Bang! Bang!"

Jack pulled out his Glock and fired two shots at the ceiling, then shouted, "Stop, Keeson, your life has been filled with violence, when will this life end?"

Seeing that Keeson was also stunned, he curled his lip, indicating that the procedure was really over.

"Tomorrow."

"Bang!"

Keeson pulled the trigger impatiently.
