DON’T Forget to leave so powerstones

---

John lay in his newly claid lair, the dim light of the forest barely filtering through the thick canopy above. His massive black wings rested against the cold, rocky floor, while his body, now larger and stronger than ever, sprawled out in the center of the cave. It was a perfect place to rest after his victory over the Terror Basilisk. But today wasn’t for celebrating. Today, he needed to think.

After months of relentless battles, he had leveled up rapidly, surpassing the creatures that road the outskirts of the forest. He had pushed his limits, growing not only in strength but in knowledge. But now, as he sat still for the first ti in days, a different kind of pressure weighed on him.

He had beco powerful—Tier 5, Level 19. His wingspan now stretched over ten ters, his claws sharper than ever, his scales tougher. But the road ahead was still long. There were stronger monsters deeper in the forest, creatures that could crush him if he was careless. Yet, it wasn’t fear that troubled him; it was the question of what ca after.

The system’s voice interrupted his thoughts.

[**Current Experience: 415,000/100,000**]

[**Next Level: 585,000 Experience Needed**]

[**Current Level: 19**]

"Six hundred thousand experience," John muttered. The gap between levels had widened with each battle, and now, reaching Tier 6 seed like a distant goal. He would have to face increasingly powerful monsters, and the danger would only grow. But leveling up wasn’t his only concern anymore. The evolution he craved wasn’t just physical—it was a choice about his future.

"What path do I want to take?"

In his human life, John had never been much of a planner. He had drifted through his days, reacting to life as it ca. But here, in this strange, dangerous world, he had no choice but to decide. He was no longer just surviving; he had the opportunity to shape his destiny. And that was both exhilarating and terrifying.

The system, always listening, chid in.

[**The Host is advised to consider potential paths for growth. Nurous evolutionary branches exist for dragons, each with unique strengths and weaknesses.**]

John’s ears perked up at this. He had suspected his future would involve more than just leveling up, but this confird it. His evolution was not just about power—it was about choosing a path that would define him for the rest of his life.

"What do you an by ’branches’?" he asked.

[**Dragons evolve based on the experiences they accumulate and the choices they make. The Host will face an important decision at Tier 6. You may choose to specialize in a path that suits your strengths. Examples include: Fla Dragons, Shadow Dragons, Storm Dragons, and more.**]

The system paused, then continued.

[**Each path offers unique abilities and skills. Fla Dragons, for instance, possess unmatched destructive power, but their reliance on fire makes them vulnerable to certain elents. Shadow Dragons excel in stealth and deception but may lack brute strength. The path you choose will shape your abilities moving forward.**]

John felt a twinge of excitent mixed with uncertainty. He had known that dragons were powerful, but this added a layer of complexity he hadn’t considered. He could specialize, hone his abilities, and beco a force to be reckoned with in a specific way. But the decision wasn’t easy.

He had seen firsthand the power of fire with his **Fla Breath** and **Dark Fla**, but he had also relied heavily on his **Shadow Cloak** and stealth during critical monts. Should he continue down the path of destruction with fire, or should he hone his mastery of the shadows, becoming a hunter in the dark?

"What if I don’t choose?" he asked, half to himself, half to the system.

[**Choosing a path is not mandatory, but without specialization, your growth may slow. The Host can remain a generalist, but this limits access to higher-tier abilities. Specialization enhances strengths, though it may introduce new weaknesses.**]

John paced around the cave, his claws clicking softly against the stone. The possibilities raced through his mind. He wasn’t soone who liked being tied down to one thing, but he also knew that in this world, being a jack of all trades might leave him vulnerable to those who were masters of their domains.

The creatures deeper in the forest weren’t going to be as forgiving as those he’d faced so far. Tier 7, Tier 8—monsters that could decimate entire landscapes with a single swipe or breath. He needed to be ready for them.

The system spoke again.

[**The Host is reminded that evolution is not a one-ti decision. Additional branches and choices may present themselves at higher tiers. The Host can adapt as new challenges arise.**]

That brought him so comfort. He didn’t need to lock himself into a single path forever. Dragons, it seed, were creatures of endless potential, and his evolution could continue well beyond Tier 6. But even knowing that didn’t erase the pressure he felt.

"I’m going to need more than power to survive this world," John said aloud. "If I’m going to carve out a place for myself here, I need to think bigger."

His thoughts turned to the small territory he had claid for himself. It was a ager prize compared to the vast forests, mountains, and lands ruled by other powerful beings. But it was a start. If he wanted to truly thrive, he would need to grow more than just his strength—he would need to grow his influence.

"The forest is crawling with monsters. I’ve seen so of them work together—packs of beasts, hunting in unison. Maybe I could do the sa."

The idea had rit. If he could rally creatures to his side, or at least establish himself as a force to be reckoned with, he could build sothing more substantial. A territory where he ruled, not just through fear, but through control and strategy. He could even expand beyond the forest, into other lands—if he survived long enough to make that a reality.

"But first, I need to beco stronger," he said, shaking his head. "Before any of that happens, I need to reach Tier 6, and then... I’ll see."

For now, it was enough to plan and prepare. He would fight, level up, and grow. And when the ti ca to evolve, he would choose his path wisely. Whether it led him to the flas or the shadows, he would embrace his destiny as a dragon.

John let out a low growl, determination solidifying within him. The future was uncertain, but he would face it head-on. No matter what ca next, he would be ready.
