Lian Manman struggled to lift the few pieces of carpet beside the canopy bed, and knocked on the entire wall, but still couldn’t find the passage above. Could it be that this room indeed only had that one door connecting to the outside?

"Oh..." Lian Manman was rendered speechless for a mont; she really didn’t expect Shen Liu to be here. Saying that Shen Liu values beauty over friendship, she couldn’t explain it to him directly.
Her montum weakened, but suddenly, a flash of insight struck her.
"You heard it twice? Why didn’t you speak up? Was it fun for you to watch worry? You know, you almost scared to death just now!" Lian Manman questioned him, and as she lowered her head, she saw the silk boots on Shen Liu’s feet.

Shen Liu seed to be genuinely choked by Lian Manman’s questioning, a thin layer of redness rising to his face, but imdiately after, the corner of Shen Liu’s mouth lifted dangerously again, and he raised his right arm, looking at Lian Manman aningfully.
"This arm, it seems I can hardly lift it — could it be... injured by being sat upon?"
"Ah!" Lian Manman cried out in surprise, looking at Shen Liu in disbelief. Just now when she sat on the bed, that sensation, had she really sat on Shen Liu’s arm?
But she jumped up imdiately upon realizing sothing was wrong; how heavy could she be, how could that have hurt Shen Liu? Shen Liu must have done this on purpose!
Such a surprising Shen Liu!
"Alright, alright, you’ve got ." Lian Manman was trembling with anger, "I admit, I’ve co to know you today..."
Shen Liu raised his eyebrows and smiled silently.
Lian Manman was about to say sothing else, when she heard the sound of chaotic footsteps outside, mixed with the voices of several people.
