Seeing the pained expression on Allie’s face, Yae-hi still didn’t stop her hand. She understood clearly, this was the backlash of that mutated energy.
‘It’s nothing more than a dying struggle!’
With green flas flickering in her palm, she imdiately injected more life energy into Allie’s body. In that instant, two potent energies clashed within her, creating an even more excruciating tornt.
Yet Allie gritted her teeth and endured in silence. Beads of sweat covered her skin, her face pale as paper, and her tightly clenched lips had even begun to bleed.
Yae-hi could no longer afford to hold back. She continued pouring life energy into Allie’s body in an unending stream. She was determined to suppress the mutated energy and virus in the shortest ti possible.
Second by second, ti ticked by.
At this point, not only was Allie suffering, Yae-hi was struggling as well. Her life energy wasn’t infinite. The more she used it, the more it felt like her body was being utterly drained.
Fortunately, the battle inside was nearing its end. With her abundant life force, she managed to encircle half of the mutated energy and virus completely. As for the other half, it had vanished, hiding who knew where.
This outco was more or less what Yae-hi had anticipated. Just one more attempt, and she would be able to wipe them all out.
“Checkmate,” she murmured, the corners of her lips curling into a victor’s smile. With that, she raised her slender hand and pulled out a green orb, about the size of a tennis ball, from Allie’s lower abdon.
The orb was densely packed with compressed mutated energy and virus.
Lying on the bed, Allie looked utterly spent, as if she had just gone through childbirth, her body nearly collapsing from exhaustion. The battle earlier had taken that heavy a toll on her.
Yae-hi shifted her gaze away from Allie and looked at the green orb in her hand.
“That was seriously exhausting… Let’s hope this brings sothing in return.” As she spoke, she suddenly pressed the orb against her chest. The mutated energy and virus began to slowly rge into her body.
The mont they were fully absorbed, Yae-hi lifted the seal on the orb. The next instant, the mutated energy, infused with spatial turbulence, exploded violently within her, rampaging like a storm.
“Ugh!” Yae-hi’s expression changed, and she couldn’t help letting out a cry of pain. At that mont, it felt like she was being torn apart by a thousand blades, so agonizing she wanted to die.
But no matter how unbearable, she had to endure it. Because the rewards were trendous!
Soon enough, the system’s notifications began ringing in her ears one after another. Yae-hi’s spatial attribute was rising at an astonishing pace. At last, as it reached its peak, she underwent a complete tamorphosis.
At the sa ti, the system chid again.

After hearing the system announcents, Yae-hi was simply overjoyed. This reward had far exceeded her expectations. It was an absolute windfall.
Sensing her surroundings carefully, she imdiately noticed that her awareness of space had grown much clearer. Not only that, she felt an illusion, like she could stand upon the void itself.
When she lifted her foot and stepped forward, ripples faintly spread through the surrounding space.
“No way…” Sensing the anomaly, Yae-hi’s pupils contracted, and a wave of shock washed over her. She could clearly feel that she was standing on solid ground!
To confirm it wasn’t just her imagination… She stepped down with more force, but her foot never touched the floor!
“Incredible…” Placing her other foot into the thin air as well, Yae-hi’s entire figure remained suspended in midair. She could confirm with certainty, she wasn’t using any flashy technique or auxiliary tool at all.
“I’m really standing in midair!” She spoke with a hint of excitent.
Given the height of the Sage Tower, standing on the void was no different from hovering in midair.
“I wonder if I can actually walk like this?”
Yae-hi felt eager to try. Actually, scratch that, she had already taken the first step. And the result…? It was undoubtedly possible. She was still stepping on thin air. Even her previous skill, Void Walk, hadn’t allowed for sothing like this!
“Hehe, being able to do this without relying on any tools, this is amazing!” Yae-hi laughed as she walked back and forth through the air, as gleeful as a child with a new toy.
Before long, she was walking through the sky as naturally as if she were on solid ground. She even managed to break into a sprint. However, after the dash, she suddenly felt dizzy and drained of strength.
“The consumption is too much…” After checking her mana, she couldn’t help but twitch at the corner of her eye.
Aside from what she had used to treat Allie, the remaining mana was nearly depleted!

Clenching her fist lightly, Yae-hi couldn’t help but smile in delight.
“Ah, I nearly forgot.” She suddenly turned her head toward the bed and saw that the exhausted Allie was already fast asleep. “I got a little carried away,” she said with a wry smile.
Walking to the bedside, Yae-hi gave Allie an injection. Since she didn’t intend to wake her, the injection was extrely gentle, barely noticeable to a normal person.
Under normal circumstances, Allie would have definitely felt it. Unfortunately, her condition now was far removed from normal.
“Sweet dreams.” Yae-hi had no intention of waking her. After saying that, she quietly slipped out of the lab.
“Did soone go down just now?” the receptionist at the front desk blinked and suddenly asked.
Another receptionist followed her gaze, only to see the platform, which had been there monts ago, already gone.
“Maybe Lady Allie went down?”
“Quite possibly.”
On the first floor of the Sage Tower, the receptionists glanced at the descending, empty lift with a hint of confusion on their faces. But that expression vanished quickly. This sort of situation happened from ti to ti, and they had long since grown used to it.
Five minutes later—
In a certain room of the church, a girl’s anguished cries echoed.
“Help! I’m going to be drained dry… Ahhhhh~ Nooo! There’s really not a single drop left!”

At the sa ti, the door let out a crisp sound. Then, it opened and quickly shut. During this entire process, Irene didn’t notice a thing. More like, she didn’t even have the energy to pay attention to what was happening on that side.
“Uuuu… I’m being completely drained dry, help ~”
Looking at the three shards stuck to her palms, constantly siphoning her holy power, Irene muttered with tearful despair. She wanted to stop, but found she simply couldn’t. Her divine energy was being drained at an alarming rate.
“You’ve worked hard.” Just then, a familiar voice suddenly rang out behind her. Imdiately after, Irene felt a faint prick of pain at her neck.
