Now reading: Book 3: Chapter 764: Arrogant Axiom, Calm Lucen from Reborn as a Transcendent, a Action novel by Mad Flower.

“Senior Brother Lucen, you’re joking, right?!” Axiom steadied himself and asked urgently. Although he was not so pampered young master, he still could not withstand that kind of ordeal.

“Joking? There was no such thing. This was precisely how the Profound Truth Sect practiced worldly training. If you do not roll around in the mortal world, how can you see through it and attain transcendence?” Lucen said solemnly.

“I understand the reasoning, but this place is so far from Yanjing. Running all the way there would cripple !” Axiom said heatedly. It was his first ti leaving Kun Ruins to enter the outside world, but he was not completely ignorant of external affairs.

After all, Kun Ruins was not truly isolated from the world beyond. From ti to ti, a few practitioners would venture out. While tempering themselves, they would also bring back information from the outside world.

“I never said you had to run there in a single day,” Lucen replied calmly.

“I know that, but entering the world doesn’t an living like an ascetic, does it?” Axiom said with dissatisfaction.

“Strictly speaking, it is indeed no different from the life of an ascetic. From this mont on, your food, clothing, shelter, and travel must all be handled by yourself. In addition, you are forbidden from using force to coerce others into doing things for you. Entering the world is ant for you to experience the many facets of life and see through mortal attachnts. External assistance brings harm rather than benefit.” Lucen explained.

“You want to live like those mortals, enduring hardship!?” Hearing this, Axiom’s eyes widened, and his handso features twisted slightly.

“You seem to have misunderstood sothing.” Lucen raised a hand and pressed it downward, signaling him to calm down. “What kind of life you live in the outside world depends entirely on your own efforts. You can beco a laborer, or you can beco a wealthy man. As long as there is no external help, you may live any life you choose. Also, rein in that arrogance of yours. Even in the outside world, there are individuals far stronger than you.”

“Stronger than ? Senior Brother Lucen must be joking, right? I am a peerless prodigy of the Profound Truth Sect, with one foot already stepping into the Innate Realm! With such a filthy and chaotic environnt out there, how could anyone possibly surpass ?” Axiom laughed in disbelief.

He had grown up in Kun Ruins, where spiritual energy was abundant. Even before he began training, his body had been constantly tempered in dicinal baths brewed from precious herbs.

He soaked in them until the age of ten, when he formally entered the Profound Truth Sect and beca a new generation inner disciple. At twelve, he stepped into the Master level. At fourteen, he reached the peak Master level. At fifteen, he entered the Grandmaster Realm. At sixteen, he achieved Grandmaster Great Perfection. Now, at eighteen, he already had one foot stepped into that legendary realm.

Such a cheat-like growth trajectory did indeed justify the title of prodigy. As for being a peerless prodigy, even he admitted he had not quite earned that qualification.

“The cultivation conditions in the outside world are indeed harsh, but that does not an it has no advantages. With a population of several billion, it is inevitable that so monster-level individuals will erge. Cathay’s Lisa, as well as Arthur, Lilith, and Plato overseas, are all of this caliber. Like you, so of them entered that realm even earlier. Moreover, their combat experience is sothing you can never hope to match.” Lucen said indifferently.

“…” Hearing this, Axiom fell silent. It was obvious that he had harbored serious misconceptions about the outside world before this.

‘Such an environnt could still give birth to figures like that. It’s truly inconceivable! If they were to cultivate in Kun Ruins, then…’ At that mont, Axiom was deeply shaken.

“There are three objectives for our journey this ti. First, investigate the cause of the anomalies in the outside world. Second, undergo worldly training. Third, seek out outstanding seedlings and bring them back to Kun Ruins.” Lucen said.

“Outstanding seedlings? Aren’t we supposed to bring back those powerful individuals instead?” Axiom asked in confusion.

Lucen shook his head. “Those in the outside world who currently possess strength comparable to yours are all relatively old, with limited potential. Moreover, having started from such high foundations, they would have no sense of belonging to the Kun Ruins at all. Bringing them back would do more harm than good.”

“So that’s how it is.” Axiom nodded, finally feeling reassured. “By the way, Senior Brother Lucen, you’re far stronger than those people in the outside world, right?”

“That is only natural,” Lucen replied calmly. As his guardian, his strength was inevitably far greater than Axiom’s. “Even though we are all within the sa realm, there are still clear distinctions. For example, it may look like you and I are both on the first layer. In reality, only you are on the first layer. I, on the other hand, am on the fifth.”

“Master never told there were differences like this within the realm.” Axiom curled his lips, speaking with so dissatisfaction.

“Since Master chose not to tell you, there was naturally a reason. See? Hasn’t so of that arrogance of yours already been worn down?” Lucen said with a faint smile.

“…” Axiom was left speechless.

“Enough idle talk. Let’s set off.” Lucen reined in his expression and looked toward the distance.

Those words made Axiom roll his eyes inwardly. ‘Enough idle talk? You’re the one who’s talked the most today!’

“Go!” Lucen gave a light shout, and his figure shot forward like a cannonball leaving its barrel. Along the way, sand, stones, grass, and leaves were blasted into the air by the violent aftershock.

Seeing this, Axiom frowned and said in a low voice, “Are you rushing off to reincarnate or sothing?”1

As his words fell, he followed after Lucen with a contemplative expression.

‘How dare re outsiders claim to be stronger than ! Just wait. In less than half a month, I’ll crush you all and make you bow in submission!’

As a prodigy of the Kun Ruins, Axiom did not rein in the arrogance in his heart because of Lucen’s words. He would prove here that he was the strongest!

Inside the ga.

Yae-hi naturally had no idea about the upheavals in the outside world. After stepping down from the beast carriage, she raised a hand to shield her eyes from the vicious sunlight.

She was already very close to Jade City.

“You can head back now.”

“Yes, Lord Angel!” The coachman bowed respectfully, then returned to his seat and drove the carriage away.

Watching the beast carriage gradually disappear into the distance, Yae-hi withdrew her gaze and looked toward the majestic Jade City.

“Next… should I go to Allie’s place first, or Irene’s… Wait, that’s not even the issue. I don’t have enough ti to handle both matters!” Treating Allie would take a considerable amount of ti, and assisting Irene with the purification and recharging of the Holy Spirit Shards would also require no small effort.

“I can’t stay in Jade City for too long.” Yae-hi bit her lip, feeling a slight headache. Because of Richard, she could not afford to risk lingering in Jade City. Actually, coming back here at all was already a risky move. The longer she stayed, the greater the danger.

After pondering for a mont, a flash of inspiration suddenly crossed her mind. “Why am I so fixated on treating Allie inside the city? Wouldn’t it be fine if she secretly slipped out to Aoma Village instead?”

Earlier, she had clearly fallen into a ntal blind spot, assuming that Allie, like Irene, could not easily leave Jade City. In reality, only Irene was unable to leave. Allie was rely unwilling to.

“Once I get back, I’ll have Lili send soone to explain the situation to Allie. That settles the problem perfectly.” Yae-hi nodded in satisfaction.

In truth, after thinking it through carefully, she felt that performing the final treatnt inside the city was not a good idea. Who knew whether a fully recovered Allie might draw Richard’s attention?

After weighing it again and again, handling it outside was clearly safer. Having made up her mind, Yae-hi imdiately took action. With a light tap of her toe against the ground, her figure leapt forward. In the next instant, her silhouette vanished into the void, disappearing completely.
