“Exactly, I haven’t seen you guys in ages, and as soon as I arrive, there’s good food. I must have co at just the right ti, huh.” An Hao also chid in with a laugh.
“An Hao, your baby is only a month old. Shouldn’t you rest for a bit longer? What’s the hurry to go out?” Qin Xue was surprised to see An Hao too.
“It’s been over forty days. I just couldn’t stay ho anymore. Hold on, you’re not welcoming , are you?” An Hao glared at Qin Xue threateningly. If she dared to say yes, An Hao was ready to pounce on her.
“Of course not, but considering your family, I thought they would insist you rest a bit longer. Who knew you would co out so soon? Anyway, enjoy your ti out. I’ll go get so groceries, and we will have a good ti together.” Qin Xue thought her big family who spoils her a lot would not let An Hao out before two months. But here she was.
“Great, I’ll go with you. I’m going crazy staying ho these days.” An Hao was genuinely tired. She was thankful that Qin Xue visited her ho last ti. Their advice on changing her diet helped her eat properly, and she was finally able to breastfeed her child who was now chubby and utterly adorable.
“Sure, let’s go together. But what about your little one?” Qin Xue noticed that An Hao had co alone. Who was taking care of her baby?
“My mother is looking after her. Zhaozi went to work, and I wanted so fresh air, so my mother offered to babysit. The baby is so small and has low resistance, it’s not good to bring her out.” An Hao’s mother-in-law had offered to babysit when she was leaving. An Hao simply couldn’t refuse the help.
“But what if the baby gets hungry while you’re out?” Qin Xue had asked An Hao about breastfeeding. She knew An Hao started producing milk after changing her diet. The baby had been purely breastfeeding since then. So, what would the baby do now that An Hao was out?
“Zhaozi got so baby formula. If she gets hungry, we can feed her that,” An Hao reasoned. She wouldn’t leave her child without making sure there would be food for her.
“Did you already try feeding your child the formula? Will it agree with her?” Qin Xue knew that so babies didn’t take to formulas well. A hungry baby that refuses to eat would be heartbreaking to watch.
“Yes, we sotis feed her the formula, don’t worry.” An Hao felt warm seeing Qin Xue so concerned about her and her baby.
“That’s good to know. Let’s go. Anyone else want to go shopping?” Qin Xue asked everyone present.
“I’ll go.” Chu Xiaoqiao raised her hand. She had already arranged everything at the shop before coming. She was free for the day.
“Fang Xiu, what about you? Are you coming?” Qin Xue asked Fang Xiu.
“I’ll stay ho and watch the kids.” Fang Xiu shook her head. She was nearly due, and her feet were swollen and uncomfortable. Walking was exhausting. She preferred to stay ho, or else they would keep worrying about her. She would rather stay at ho peacefully, babysitting the kids, and let the young folks have fun.
