“I had sothing going on. I brought the kids back for Mom to take care of them for a while. Did you finish your exams?” Qin Xue recalled that her little brother was supposed to take exams. “Yes, I finished the exams early. I stayed at the store for a while before coming back to see Mom and Dad. I didn’t expect you to be back too—if I’d known, I would’ve co sooner,” Qin Yu said. He truly hadn’t anticipated this; otherwise, he wouldn’t have delayed so long.
“I wasn’t ho before, so even if you’d co earlier, you wouldn’t have seen ,” Qin Xue said as she offered to help carry Qin Yu’s luggage. But Qin Yu didn’t let her, choosing instead to handle it himself.
Silver Wolf watched the siblings’ interaction and couldn’t help but wonder. Were they really siblings? Was there sothing here he didn’t know? And had they perhaps forgotten him—why did no one seem to acknowledge him?
