Xiao Qi didn’t expect Qin Xue to like it so much. He wanted the secretary to make her a cup, but she said there was no need, she could do it herself. So, he just let her go make it herself. According to her, it was fine for her to go; there was no need to disturb others at work. After all, she’s not a staff mber, so there’s no need to bother others.
After hearing what Qin Xue said, Xiao Qi didn’t insist. As per the boss’s instructions, no matter what Qin Xue wanted to do here, she should be allowed to do it. If there were any problems, they should report to him, and he’d handle them.
Upon hearing what Chu Molin said, Xiao Qi really didn’t have much to say. He went along with whatever made Qin Xue happy. If the boss wasn’t afraid, why should he be?
“I still have so left. I’ll bring her a bottle later. I have so coffee beans, but unfortunately, no one knows how to brew coffee. It’s such a waste just leaving them there.” Last ti Wen Qing went abroad for training, it was to a place famous for coffee beans. However, since he had to study and work, he didn’t have ti to learn. A friend gifted him so as he was leaving, and he couldn’t refuse, so he brought them back.
But no one knows how to use them, and Wen Qing often thinks about how he carried them back with such effort, only to not use them. It’s such a waste of energy.
Now it’s rare to hear that Qin Xue likes drinking it, his heart stirred with joy, thinking maybe she could brew coffee.
“That’s up to you, but aren’t you afraid my boss will get jealous and beat you up?” Xiao Qi, although he didn’t want to say this, couldn’t help but think of his boss’s jealousy; it wasn’t entirely impossible.
“As long as his wife likes it, I don’t think he would mind.” Wen Qing sowhat understood Chu Molin’s thoughts.
“What are you guys talking about with all this jealousy?” Qin Xue walked in with a cup of coffee, catching that line vaguely.
“Nothing much, Mrs. Chu. Do you really like drinking coffee?” Wen Qing looked at the coffee in Qin Xue’s hand, thinking it slled better than the ones he brewed.
“Yes, I do. Why?” Qin Xue didn’t deny it. Back when she was on duty, she’d make a cup or two to stay awake, long accustod to having coffee around. But in this resource-scarce ti, just having enough to eat is nice, let alone thinking about enjoynt.
“Do you know how to use coffee beans to brew coffee?” Wen Qing asked Qin Xue hopefully.
“A little,” Qin Xue said humbly.
“I have coffee beans. I’ll get them for you, and you can take them to brew yourself.” Wen Qing finally heard sothing more definite.
However, no matter how he thought about it, he felt Qin Xue was just being modest. Her brewing skills were certainly not bad.
“Okay.” Qin Xue thought it was no big deal, just a small matter.
“Oh, right, Xiao Qi, when you left earlier, I saw a woman co looking for you.” Qin Xue rembered sothing she almost forgot.
“What kind of woman?” Xiao Qi asked, feeling a bit annoyed but ready to vent.
“Just an ordinary one, ca with a docunt for you to sign.” Qin Xue sipped her coffee, slowly revealing her true intentions.
“So what did you say?” Xiao Qi thought Qin Xue was talking about soone from the secretary’s office, as no one else would bring docunts for him to sign.
“Nothing much, I just said you weren’t here and told her to co back later. You wouldn’t believe her expression after hearing that, it was hilarious.” Qin Xue deliberately said it that way and was pleased to have witnessed such a funny scene.
