"Lele, we’re over here." Qin Jiale and her group were just entering the station when they were stopped.
"Shushu, why is he here too?" Qin Jiale looked at Ye Zishu, pulled her aside and asked in a low voice.
"His family is from the Imperial Capital, and I’m going to their place, so why wouldn’t he co along?" Ye Zishu was only going because of Ye Li, otherwise she wouldn’t even be going to the Imperial Capital.
Besides, she sensed sothing, so she let Ye Li co along.
"Then why didn’t you say so from the start?" Qin Jiale was really impressed by Ye Zishu; was she doing things first and telling later?
"Don’t dwell on it. We’re just sharing a ride. Once we get to the Imperial Capital, we’ll go our separate ways. Aren’t you going to find your sister? We’re going to visit my uncle and cousin too. We can set a ti for catching up when we return. Otherwise, who knows if we’ll even have ti to hang out over there?" Ye Zishu had her own plans too.
"It’s already like this now. What can I say? Can I disagree?" Qin Xue really didn’t know how to talk to Ye Zishu anymore. She hadn’t ntioned Ye Li would be coming along at first. Sotis, that guy was really too much. She didn’t want to be around him, especially when alone; there was always a certain vibe.
"Lele, watch the luggage; I’m going to buy the tickets." Qin Yu looked at his little sister, who imdiately joined her classmates. They hadn’t bought the tickets yet.
"Jiale, we’ve already bought the tickets, and they’re sleepers. Here’s your ticket." When Ye Li and the others arrived, he had already gone to buy tickets, and now he handed them over to Qin Yu.
Ye Li didn’t expect Qin Yu to be so handso; though he wasn’t the sa type as his older brothers, he was still very good-looking. Truly, their family was high on the attractiveness scale.
"You guys bought the tickets? That’s not appropriate." Qin Yu looked at this boy who had acted ahead of them.
"It’s not inappropriate. After all, we had to buy tickets anyway. We’re classmates, and it’s good to have soone to look after each other. Traveling is all about helping each other out, right?" Ye Li seed very normal and polite at this mont.
"Well, alright, I’ll give you the money." Qin Yu found nothing wrong with Ye Li’s explanation; it was practical for them to look out for one another, but he still preferred to pay them. He didn’t like taking advantage of others, especially when they just helped with getting tickets.
It’s not that Qin Yu was overthinking; rather, Ye Li hadn’t thought about it beforehand. He only rembered after buying the tickets, but since they were already bought, he settled on this explanation while waiting for Qin Jiale and others.
In the end, this was the only justification that made sense, so when Ye Li explained, Qin Yu accepted it.
"Alright, no rush. We can sort this out once we’re on the train." Ye Li didn’t refuse the money outright, nor did he ask Qin Yu to pay him imdiately, especially with so many people around; it wasn’t safe as there could be pickpockets.
"That’s fine too, but we’ve kept the money separate. How much is it? I’ll get the money for you." Qin Yu didn’t want to wait, so he decided to sort it out right away.
"Um, okay then." Ye Li handed the ticket over to Qin Yu so he could see the fare printed on it.
"Here’s the fare, thank you." Although Qin Yu felt a bit odd, he still politely thanked Ye Li.
"No need for thanks." Ye Li might have felt slightly uncomfortable, but he took the money from Qin Yu without saying anything else, putting it away imdiately. He realized he should be more careful next ti.
Initially, they should’ve coordinated and bought the tickets together, considering he didn’t know how many people would be coming. Luckily, he guessed right this ti, but it would’ve been awkward if Qin Jiale’s group added soone last minute.
