“They do control a little too much, not letting eat this, not letting eat that.” Mr. Mo thought about how every ti he went to the dining hall, people would discourage him from eating certain things. He knew it was because his health took a hit during his fighting days, and his body couldn’t handle it if he wasn’t careful. He didn’t bla anyone, he was rather touched by their concern.
“That is understandable,” Qin Xue smiled.
After they finished eating, Qin Xue paid the bill, took the packed food, and left the restaurant with Mr. Mo.
“Mr. Mo, where do you live? I should take you ho.” Qin Xue looked at the night sky, she had been here for quite a while and this was the first ti she was out so late. The lit lamps on the street seed to guide the passersby to return ho early.
“No need, I live nearby. You should go ho early.” Mr. Mo didn’t want to trouble her, he could do it himself.
“How could I let you go ho alone? Co on, let take you ho, then I can go ho early too.” Qin Xue was not comfortable letting him go ho alone so late at night. The best solution was for her to get him ho, then she could return to her own. She was worried about how Xue Ling and the children were getting along at ho, she did not want to delay any longer.
“Alright then, thank you for troubling yourself.” Mr. Mo looked at Qin Xue, knowing she wouldn’t be at ease letting him walk ho alone. He initially refused because he saw her eagerness to return, but now that she insisted he decides to not hold her back, he should straight up go ho and not delay her ti.
“That’s more like it.” Qin Xue said as she walked him ho.
“This is my place, would you like to co in for a drink?” Mr. Mo asked Qin Xue as they arrived.
“No, thank you, Mr. Mo. I have children at ho, I can’t rest easy with them alone so late at night. I won’t stay any longer, I’ll be off now. We can go out to have a nice al when I’m free.” It was only now that Qin Xue voiced her concerns. If she didn’t, she was worried Mr. Mo would think she was being rude by not entering his house.
“I see, well that works too. We can dine together when you’re free. You’re really piqued my interest, why wouldn’t you tell about your circumstances? You’ve kept delayed for so long.” Mr. Mo had noticed Qin Xue’s discomfort, but he didn’t expect it to be because she had children at ho. For so reason, he assud she was not married yet. He wondered who married such a good girl and completely overlooked the fact that Qin Xue ntioned she stayed at ho with her children in the conference room.
“Alright, then please go inside, Mr. Mo. I’m going ho now.” Only after Qin Xue saw Mr. Mo entering his house did she turn around to head ho.
Qin Xue carried the food and headed ho. But she hadn’t gotten far when she was stopped by soone in a narrow alleyway.
“May I help you?” Qin Xue looked at the two young n blocking her path. They really knew how to pick their targets. Did they think she was easy to bully?
“Give us your money.” One of them didn’t seem bothered by Qin Xue, they were just after her money. However, the other one had more sinister intentions after seeing Qin Xue’s appearance, she was too captivating.
“Big brother, this woman is really pretty.” He nudged his companion’s arm, whispering his observation.
