Chapter 977: Chapter 971: Annoying Problem_1
The two families chatted for a long while before they went ho individually. After Qin Xue’s family gathered water for washing up, they discovered that the three children had woken up quietly, playing without whining or crying.
“Wow, our little darling woke up without making any noise, let Grandma co and lift you up to see if you peed.” Nangong Shulan went over, picked up one to check, then put them down, picked up another one to touch, thankfully, they were dry. It seems like they have just woken up; otherwise, they would have probably peed by now.
“Mom, after you changed their diapers, let hold them. It’s been too long since I held them.” Qin Jiale glanced at her cute nephews and announced to her mother.
“Alright, you can hold them. Let’s see what you’ll do when they start crying.” Nangong Shulan was very amicable. Since her daughter was going to be ho for the New Year, there were plenty of opportunities to hold the children. There was no need to hurry.
“Darlings, did you hear that? Auntie Jiale is going to hold you in a bit.” Qin Jiale said, bursting into laughter. She was like a kid herself.
Without saying a word, Jingtao just rubbed his rumbling stomach and looked at them before staring at his mum.
“Mom, I heard the kids’ tummies rumble. I’ll go bring them sothing to eat.” Upon hearing Jingtao’s stomach growling, Qin Jiale spoke up.
“Go ahead, ask your sister to start feeding the kids.” Nangong Shulan responded. Having slept for so long, her grandkids must be hungry now.
“Okay.” Qin Jiale left the room.
“Sis, Mom asked you to feed the babies.” Qin Jiale felt embarrassed to ntion breastfeeding in front of others, so she just told them it was feeding ti.
“Alright, I’ll be right there.” Qin Xue who was taking a bath at the mont, responded loudly upon hearing her sister’s call.
“Xue’er, do you need more water?” Chu Molin, who was outside guarding Qin Xue while she bathed, asked if she needed more water.
“No, thank you, I’m almost done.” Qin Xue had already used two buckets of water and was embarrassed to ask for more. Otherwise, there might not be enough hot water left for others.
“Ok, hurry up and don’t catch a cold.” After giving her a gentle reminder, Chu Molin carried the bucket and went back to the kitchen.
To dry herself faster, Qin Xue hastened to dress. It was freezing, and she missed her heated room, the water heater, and so many other things.
While dressing, Qin Xue was psyching herself up. Everything she wanted would co in ti.
Once she was dressed and back in the room, she saw each kid munching on sweet, fragrant bread. They didn’t seem inclined to wait for breastfeeding at all.
If Yu Ze could understand his mom’s thoughts, he’d undoubtedly say, “Mom, we are starving, and we won’t starve ourselves thinking about the milk that is yet to co when we have food available.”
Not knowing this, Yu Ze, his younger sibling, and Jingtao were savoring their sweet buns, eating with great energy and enjoynt.
Seeing them like this, Qin Xue didn’t bother to intervene. She simply picked up a towel, dried her hair, and then sat by the fire to warm it up.
“Why are you washing your hair so late at night? When will you be able to sleep?” Seeing her daughter drying her hair, Nangong Shulan joked that it was ill-advised to wash her hair so late on a cold night as it wouldn’t dry easily.
“No problem, I feel grimy after the car ride. I won’t be comfortable unless I shower.” Qin Xue had no idea why but she always needed a shower after a car ride, or else she would feel uneasy.
“What kind of a quirk is this?” Nangong Shulan, who was giving the children so rice paste, glanced at her daughter.
“Just a peculiar one.” Not bothered at all by her mother’s words, Qin Xue just casually replied.
“It does seem so.” Qin Jiale walked in just in ti to catch her sister’s comnt and joined in the laughter.
“Where’s Xue Ling?” Qin Xue asked Qin Jiale.
“I’m right here.” Xue Ling had followed Qin Jiale into the room, and hearing Qin Xue’s question, answered before Qin Jiale could.
