"Elevate your perspective!" Kael warned mphis as he got ready to witness the end.
mphis, now extrely old and looking like she could fade away if soone touched her, still watched the unfolding battle with her bright green eyes which were drenched in the power of ti.
Kael had given a final warning because he knew the need was coming.
From Noel’s mories, all he had seen was a flash of light followed by darkness.
Here, he could see it for what had truly happened.
Their translucent figures floated in space, unable to interact with the space and ti of this era for their own safety. Even then, they were on the verge of giving up.
The ti friction acting on their bodies was terrible.
Kael was supporting mphis with his own enhanced powers and mphis was the reason both of them could still continue observing.
Right before their eyes, Ibadon zood up, turning into a black stream of nothingness that closed the distance between him and Noel very easily.
Thousands of attacks t Noel’s golden form from all sides, each of these attacks was mostly ant to annoy him and cause any amount of damage.
Unfortunately for the Primordial Cat, the damage was minimal and Noel was mostly annoyed.
No was so strong that he could just stand there and do nothing, and this Primordial Cat who was also an immortal wouldn’t be able to do much.
It made one wonder why the Primordial Cat even tried in the first place.
It was probably because he felt he had nothing to lose. With clones hiding in different parts of the universe, ensuring his continued survival, the Primordial Cat was unnecessarily bold.
Alas, the following golden flash sealed the fate.
*BOOOOOOOM!!!...*
Noel had waited patiently for Ibadon to mindlessly get closer before detonating himself.
It was scary and beautiful at the sa ti.
There was no point in drawing out the fight between them. Noel knew that they were more or less equally matched.
And with the pesky cat disturbing his majestic presence, it would be harder to land any killing blow that would end Ibadon.
Noel reverted to the most assured form of violence, Mutually Assured Destruction.
On his own, Noel’s might was already imnse. But when he detonated himself...
This was too much for the mortal mind to comprehend.
It did not happen in one sudden explosion even though everything happened in a single second.
First, the energy overflowing from Noel’s heart as well as his whole body compressed down to a single point in his chest.
This was the cumulative gathering of all the power and energy that he had.
This energy being gathered was imnse.
So imnse that it gained a near infinite level of mass and generated a strong gravity that would put so of the biggest black holes to sha.
The gravity was so high that space and ti were being folded into small points. Space and ti crunches, as they would be called.
Luckily for Kael and mphis, their ti machine was operating under another Chrono Signature so they were free from the effects of such pull, but they were not free from suffering.
From the mont Noel condensed all his power inside his body, to the mont he released it all in one go, it was rely a second.
Yet, a hole was ripped through the heavens.
Kael saw with his own eyes the Gap that inhabited the space between the heavens. So many heavens were exposed to Kael’s eyes all of a sudden after the golden flash died down.
He saw the hive heaven in its early stages when the bees were still developing and had not yet gotten strong enough to ally with the dragons.
He saw the Horror Heaven through the gaps of a fractured reality tear.
He saw the Dark Heaven.
The Battle Heaven.
The Radiant Heaven.
The Sanguine Heaven.
The Starry Heaven.
The Vital Heaven.
The Nether Heaven.
The Soul Heaven.
The Samsara Heaven.
The Aqua Heaven
The Archive Heaven.
And many more.
All the heavens that had once been claid by various Primordials in the history of the universe showed themselves to him.
And Kael also saw the many heavens that were still ownerless.
It was like a whole new side of the universe was being exposed to him.
He had thought the mortalverse was sothing.
What was this?
Didn’t this an that his work was far from over?
So many places to conquer.
The excitent in Kael’s heart manifested in the form of a smile. The excitent was so genuine that he montarily forgot about Noel.
When he blinked his eyes.
Noel was gone.
Ibadon was falling through the skies of Draconic Heaven, crashing through a few continents before stopping.
anwhile, all the Primordial Cats were gone, completely eliminated. It was unknown if he still survived with a clone sowhere else.
But Noel was gone.
Kael focused his gaze on Ibadon.
Ibadon had truly suffered at this mont.
For the first ti, Kael saw a look of pain and agony on Ibadon’s face.
For the first ti, he saw Ibadon roar out just due to pain.
The black body of the abomination began to shrink and shift until he had transford into his tall humanoid form.
It was as if a cold bucket of water had been splashed on his head.
His eyes were no longer pitch black, just a dull sorrowful red.
His hair fell over his head, blocking his face from Kael’s view. Only the dull red eyes could be seen.
However, Ibadon’s naked body was also exposed.
Kael could see it now. Why was Ibadon always clad in an all-black suit when he was in his humanoid form?
This was why.
Ibadon’s body, from his neck down to his feet was damaged. Was it a burn? Was it scratched?
Kael just knew that the damage done to Ibadon’s body was so bad that he technically shouldn’t even be surviving it.
But he was.
Ibadon gritted his teeth, punched the ground, and created a small crater.
Black pus and immortal blood burst out of his arm because of that violent movent, causing serious expressions of pain.
Technically, Ibadon’s body should be healing itself by this ti. He was immortal after all, as long as he was still conscious, his body would recover itself.
But that wasn’t the case here.
The burns and gashes were not healing at all. His ivory bones were still being exposed and his skin was still leaking boiling pus.
It was painful, that was certain.
Noel failed to kill Ibadon, why? Kael had once asked himself.
But now he knew why.
It was never enough.
Noel was already being surrounded by thousands of immortal cats who could also take a lot of hits themselves.
By the ti he detonated himself, a lot of that power was unknowingly absorbed by the thousands of Primordial Cats, killing every single one of them.
The remaining power burst was still lethal, almost killing Ibadon, but it didn’t.
Ibadon had only managed to react in ti to protect his head, using that split instant bought by Primordial Cats.
If he hadn’t protected his head, it would have been a different case altogether. Ibadon would have died.
But even though Noel did not succeed, he didn’t die in vain.
Ibadon couldn’t fight anymore. His injuries were so fatal that any tier 4 could beat him up if he wasn’t careful.
He would have to recover his strength.
And the process of recovering his strength and healing himself was what allowed the lions the ti to develop themselves again.
Noel’s sacrifice was the reason Kael was around.
Ibadon created a veil of nothingness where he was so that he could imdiately begin his recovery. As for the war that was still going on? Once the dragon officials discovered that he was no longer responding to their calls, they would retreat.
"Noel was..." mphis muttered, her voice a cruel reflection of her true state.
"Amazing?" Kael asked.
mphis nodded, her thin grey hair dancing tragically against her head. She could not hold it anymore.
"He was," Kael confird, "Without him, nothing happening in our ti would be possible.
Without him, we could have gone extinct."
Kael then looked at the spot Noel had been in his final monts.
The heavenly tears that had caused the images of different heavens to show were now gone. Kael’s horizon had been expanded, he was unwilling to let go.
"But I will never be like him," Kael said honestly.
mphis smiled, her control over the ti machine slipping, "You were never like him in the first place."
The scene around them suddenly blurred as the ti machine rapidly began to set the Chrono Signatures back in place.
The interior of the ti machine appeared again. The Ti Friction ca crashing down harder than ever.
mphis fainted.
Kael caught mphis by her shoulders, looking down at her old face. He could feel that she was changing, she was evolving.
Her body began to shift in his arms.
anwhile, Kael’s embodint of Conquering started progressing at an incredibly fast rate.
Either way, after this ti travel, a breakthrough was imminent.
