Present ti.
The black Ti Shuttle floated close to the peak of the mountain. Its black hull reflected the faint glow coming from the golden sky.
A section of the black hull’s tal plates shifted away to reveal an entrance into the ti shuttle.
The entrance was dark, lacking the ceiling lights it once had. Most of the reserve energy had been drained for the ti travel to be possible.
The only Origin Essence reserve left was used to keep the Ti Shuttle afloat.
Heavy footsteps resounded from the depths of the tal hallway. Two pairs of glowing golden eyes could be seen at the depths.
Kael walked out to bathe under the warm glow of the golden sky.
He looked up, trying to guess how much ti had passed since he entered the ti machine.
He was completely naked at the mont. Neither Kael or mphis had noticed it before but their clothes which were of the highest quality had all been turned to dust and ashes under the pressure of the ti friction.
Kael’s feet lifted up away from the floor of the ti shuttle he flew out of the entrance to make way for what was coming behind him.
Behind him, the form of a less than three ter tall lioness could be seen floating out of the ti shuttle.
Although this lioness was quite large, she also looked very old as her fur was a deep greyish faded yellow and the edges of her jaw had visible wrinkles.
She was really old.
And unconscious.
This was mphis.
Her body floated out of the shuttle under the guidance of Kael’s invisible power.
Kael flew to the top of the mountain and placed mphis there gently.
With a ntal command, another set of clothes covered his body. A simple white shirt and black sport-like trousers. He remained bare footed though.
Kael stared at mphis’s unconscious form and thought deeply.
Inside the ti machine, mphis had endured ninety five percent of the ti friction while Kael had endured only about five percent.
mphis was a ti powered entity, so she could actually handle it, unlike Kael would probably be crushed to dust if not that he quickly created that contract between him and mphis.
Not to ntion that mphis had received a serious boost, allowing her to touch upon the false power of an Immortal while Kael was at a false tier 7.
That was the only way they could continue going back in ti until they reached the three million year mark.
Kael had finally seen the death that heralded his birth. He was glad Noel died. If the great blessed savior did not die, Kael would not have been born.
Many of the questions that he had on his mind were answered, but he also had many more.
Just the visual impact of the battle he had watched filled Kael with a wave of excitent that drove his progress to embody the Law of Conquering.
Those heaven...
Kael did not know there were so many prey waiting for him.
All those empty heavens.
So magnificent.
So ripe for the taking.
Kael couldn’t wait to deep his claws one after the other into every hole he could find. He would violate the universe...properly.
He could already see the future becoming clearer for him.
His vision was becoming firr.
Total conquest of the universe was indeed possible. Just a lot harder than he thought.
One thing he knew was that the Gap, that thing that existed in between the realms of the Heavenverse and the Mortalverse also was nearly indestructible.
In fact, calling it indestructible was a little off point as the Gap did not really exist as a tangible thing. The very concept of its existence being just an In-between was what made it so hard to overco.
The Gap represented everything that did not or was yet to exist. If it didn’t exist, it simply didn’t exist. Then how were they supposed to pierce through the reality of sothing that didn’t exist when the reality wasn’t even there in the first place.
Kael had managed to create an unstable Heavenly Gate to the Horror Heaven because of the connection he managed to establish between him and Wei.
Without the lion system and connection Essence and if there were no lionesses in the Horror Heaven in the first place, Kael would have absolutely no way of getting there.
He was thinking of how he could engineer a thod to traverse the Gap and break into other heavens.
But as Kael had seen, the power of an immortal could forcefully break through the Gap.
Noel’s detonation had caused a massive tear that exposed the realities of hundreds of Heavens, or even more than that.
This ant that a much lesser and precise concentration of that power would be enough to just break into one heaven.
One heaven was enough.
Just one.
That could be the launch pad to assault the rest.
Out of all the thods Kael had thought of, it seems the best and most efficient might be the use of immortals to brute force their way through the reality of the Gap.
Even the monkeys never ntioned anything about crossing the Gap even though they wanted to travel the multiverse.
It was either they were more preoccupied with escaping the universe or they saw that it was impossible to pierce the Gap.
Then there was a problem, the lions did not have any immortals for Kael to test out this theory.
Not just one, not just two, not just a hundred. Not even a million immortals under Kael’s command would satiate his desire.
What if?
What if...
Could every lion beco...?
Kael shook his head and cast that thought to the barren depths of his mind. That idea was too crazy to imagine.
A civilization of kings who were not just powerful, but also...
’No,’ Kael shook his head.
What madness was that?
The existence of such would be a paradox to the very nature of the universe and the multiverse.
It was crazy to imagine what it could be like.
Thinking of this, Kael looked closely at mphis with a skeptical expression. As of now, he really hoped that she would succeed.
With the state mphis was in now, it was either she beca an Immortal, or she died trying.
