"Oh," Alora nodded to the Primordial Hedgehog to continue her talk.

The Primordial Hedgehog stood up from her seat and gathered the gazes of everyone around her.

"The Law of Trade that I command requires that I ensh myself with acts of trade and personally oversee the existence of a market for to be relevant.

Initially, after discussing with so of my colleagues, the imdiate logical solution was to turn as many hedgehogs into rchants so that we could regulate a hedgehog-heavy marketplace.

According to so of the foxes still alive from the ti of Eridoria, there had been a little bit of success when the foxes acted as the rchant caste for the budding kingdom with the All-King.

However, all that had to change as more creatures were added and began to follow the All-King.

Tying one race to the rchant caste would not work. It did not work then, and it wouldn’t work now.

The All-King knew what was coming, that is why he dissolved the caste specialization and diversified all races.

But, our laws have created another impasse that must be navigated, and this ti, the All-King shouldn’t have to step down to save us again.

That is why I have sought the Primordial Coyote of Tasks as we have co up with so thods to navigate this matter.

Not only will it help , which was my main intention, but it will actually help everyone here with the managent of their systems."

The Hedgehog Primordial paused and looked around and saw that everyone was still paying attention to her.

She looked at a particular corner where Charvi, Ralph, and Marcus were sitting.

Her gaze lingered for a few more seconds on Marcus and Charvi. Just like Ralph, both of them had a concealed aura, and it couldn’t be determined exactly how deep their strengths lay.

Charvi and Marcus both had issues in their systems and civilizations that needed to be handled before they beca a serious matter.

Not all Vultures were interested in delivering death and not all Peacocks were interested in beautifying things around them.

The main missions on the Vulture System usually involved ensuring certain individuals died in a certain manner.

And the Peacocks had sothing similar where they usually had to beautify so things and et up to a particular standard.

This would not have been an issue if the civilizations were smaller but they were growing fast and the missions from the lions were awfully specific and laced with consideration sotis.

The various creatures of the Hegemony grew stronger and they wanted to do much more than what their systems wanted.

Now, the All-King and the Primordials would not even care about this. They could just keep on forcing everyone to do what needs to be done. Why should they care about the minor demographic that was dissatisfied with their way of life?

Thankfully, they could also see room for improvent and understood the need for diversity when managing multiple civilizations.

"So," The Hedgehog Primordial continued, "I propose that the Hedgehog System, with the Law of Trade, be linked to every exchange platform on all systems.

This will allow all systems to be able to sell and buy across interfaces without interfering with the other systems.

There is no need to worry that the Trade Law will subvert or try to seize control. We all know the consequences of doing so.

That is also why I proposed that the Hedgehog System be linked to the individual platforms, instead of completely replacing every exchange platform and becoming the center of all comrce."

When she finished talking, the other Primordials nodded their heads. It was a good idea.

It would definitely allow the Hedgehog Primordial to grow fast as she would be able to siphon Trade Essence from all those transactions.

It was the sa with the Primordial Porcupine and the Primordial Crab, they would all be beneficiaries of such a plan and the good thing was that no one was going to lose for now.

But, didn’t the hedgehog say that this would allow other Primordials to tap in and benefit a lot?

"What about the other stuff?" Asked the Primordial Shark from his own corner.

He too had issues with his system. His Law was the Law of Oceans, and it was one of those laws that were too vague to create legitimate missions with.

His primary source of Ocean Essence right now was the defence and occupancy missions that required the sharks to occupy ocean spaces.

Now that Crab Coins would be used as mission rewards, he could save more Ocean Essence for himself and hopefully catch up to his seniors faster.

The Hedgehog nodded, "The new coordination between the many exchange factions would create a humongous cost of operation.

That is why we must step up to assist the All-King because for a long ti, his own peer had been acting as the subsidy.

The users of our systems will buy and sell items. Normal.

But have you thought about how much energy it costs to teleport those items to their very location?

The Primordial Donkey and the Primordial Crane will have to step up here.

The Primordial Donkey of Location can start by identifying the exact location of individuals and recording their live coordinates.

The Law of Space, provided by the Primordial Crane, will then be used for now as a ans to transport all those items to whoever needs them.

As for the rest of you, the Primordial Coyote has the Law of Tasks and he can divide the mission platforms into two layers.

The specific layer. This is where our main missions would be. Hunting Missions in the Wolf System, Death Missions in the Vulture System, and so on.

Very specific missions that are related to activities that will actually generate Law Essences for us by our races.

Only we Primordials will be able to give out these missions as we know best the activities that will help generate more Law Essence for us. We use and abuse how we see fit, and they can be compulsory or mandatory.

In fact, they don’t even need to accept these tasks, it is just sothing you give and expect them to complete.

Imagine simply giving a group of wolves a hunting mission based on their proximity and exposure to a certain event. They have no choice but to obey and there will be penalties for not obeying.

This layer shall simply be called Quests.

Then the other layer will be the Sub-mission Layer. In this layer, things are very simple. Any creature can create missions here and they can accept a wide range of missions.

All the tasks and missions in this layer have to be mandatory to maintain the illusion of choice and give us more control over them.

These missions can be anything, and so missions can even generate more than one Law Essence. That might even be the norm.

That is the goal of all systems integration and this Task Layers. Cooperation.

Our subjects want to take other missions? Fine. But they must accept the terms and cooperate.

Everyone wins..."

The Primordial Hedgehog lady shifted her eyes to Alora and the other Consorts as a frightening intellectual light settled at the depths of her eyes.

She was basically proposing harsh clampdowns on the way of life of the subjects in return for giving them the ability to choose what they wanted to do for themselves.

But in reality, she was just giving the Primordial Coyote so relevance in the ga.

The All-King had always held a monopoly over the missions mainly because there was no one else to take it from him.

As long as he did that, the Primordial Coyote would simply be a figurehead and his inco would be bastardly low.

Now she had given him relevance while also paying homage to the All-King.

The Coyote System and the Law of Tasks, will be responsible for the platform that holds the General Missions while each Primordial would be responsible for their own quests.

This gives the Primordials way more control of the direction of their civilizations while still giving the subjects freedom to choose other things for themselves.

And with the Primordials having a firm foot on the Quests, they would never need to be afraid that their races would stray away from the path of their law.

One ga Quest and everyone would assemble.

The systems were starting to bleed into each other in ways that were more complex than before.

Alora’s lips twitched where she was sitting. All the Hedgehog said was true and actually very beneficial.

And the way it was structured, it was clear that the lions were still at the top and the recognised System Alphas.

But Alora, who was adept at politics, knew of sothing that this hedgehog and her colleagues were playing.

They wanted to ensh themselves too deeply.

They had already accepted that they were Kael’s subjects, but the fear that Kael could replace or kill them off at any ti was still there.

They wanted to integrate and make themselves so useful to the Hegemony System that it would cost a lot just to get rid of them.

Alora had seen right through all this and she knew that if she had noticed this, Kael had also noticed it.

Did it matter?

"Very well then," Alora nodded, her blue eyes scanning all the seated Primordials, "The All-King has given his permission.

We can begin."
