"I did not co here to kill you, Seth," The All-King’s words were bold and direct right from the start.

"I ca to help."

Seth’s glowing white eyes narrowed and he looked at this All-King with suspicion and alarm.

He could tell that this All-King was just a clone, he could also tell that this clone had a power level infinitely close to the Mid-Level Immortal tier.

This was very aggravating and confusing. The last ti Seth t Kael, or rather, t his clones, Kael was still a low-level immortal. A very powerful one at that.

And now, here he was, boldly emitting the aura of a higher power level.

When he said he did not co here to kill Seth, the All-King was not bluffing. He really had the power to do it given that this was the original Seth and there was no hidden clone sowhere else.

"How did you find ?" Seth asked, calming down. The All-King may have gotten stronger but he was not out of trump cards.

Even the All-King did not know just how deep the power of Freedom could get as it wasn’t his own law.

Seth had his thods and he was confident.

Besides, he still had hidden sches around.

"Here?" The All-King asked, tilting his head to the side, "At the Outerverse?

Everyone in the universe should be asking you, what are YOU doing here?"

To this question, Seth went silent again. Kael had casually brushed off answering how he found Seth and he had brought to light the hanging consequences of what Seth was doing.

As for how Kael actually found Seth and arrived here so quickly, it was simply him exercising specific laws to achieve the Illusory effect of omnipresence.

First, he used the Law of Observation. Kael could not observe every single thing happening in the universe at the sa ti, that was literally impossible for him at this current stage of his life.

But he could observe certain things as long as he knew their location or could link himself to it in so way.

Kael only had to use the Freedom Essence he got from the Primordial Rat as a reference point.

Then he used the Law of Location from the Primordial Donkey, then the Law of Space to get here so fast.

The Law of Observation only made the use of those laws very easy as Kael could observe if Seth was alone or not.

It wasn’t overpowered, but it was definitely a broken technique that Kael vowed to continue using, applying his Wisdom as much as possible.

"You ca to help. Why did you say that?" Seth asked. He was still a few minutes away from his destination and he did not co with any arkship to avoid being tracked.

"Your brother," Kael said, "Chev..."

The frown on Seth’s face deepened. Did the All-King co to apologize? Did he co to let him know that he was the one responsible? Did he co to make ands?

That’s not like the All-King.

Kael continued speaking.

"He...wasn’t the strongest, neither was he the wisest," Kael said, "...but that is not why he died.

Even you must agree to that.

He died because he could not fit in."

Kael leaned forward, the portal behind him closed and he gradually closed the gap between him and Seth, little by little.

The gap between them was asured in kilotres, sothing that could be closed in less than a breath by both of them.

The All-King shook his head, "You see, this universe runs on one very simple driving logic that predominates and governs every other rule that ever was and will ever be.

That rule is that only the fittest can survive.

Not the strongest, not the fastest, not the smartest. Just the fittest.

If your strengths make you the fittest, you survive, if it’s your speed or Intelligence, then you’ll also survive.

Apparently, all those things tend to contribute to survival chances but they are not hard-coded. If they were, elephants would not die from dehydration and wolves would not die from heat.

The environnt, Seth.

The environnt determines who is the fittest.

And currently, you aren’t.

You are on a one-way road to being used and dumped.

Not unless I help you."

Kael then took a step forward and appeared two ters in front of Seth all of a sudden.

The sudden appearance was very spontaneous and Seth only reacted shortly after by moving back a couple of ters.

Kael was faster, that was the unfortunate conclusion.

"I recently learned that soone has been piercing the veil of the Outerverse, despite the rules and regulations.

Not just anyone can pierce the veil, Seth. Not unless the Highest Will is being lenient."

"Who told you that?" Seth asked, imdiately suspecting those two ancient masters.

"It’s none of your business, what matters is that if it is you, you are a very big fool.

Imagine, the Highest Will, in his seemingly infinite wisdom, had placed those rules down.

HE IS A GOD!

He knows you have broken his rules, and yet, you still exist in front of ? Out to break more.

I broke the rules, and you should see just how bad it is on my side..."

Kael then looked away, a fascinating look of lancholy appeared on his face and he actually looked very sad right now.

Seth’s eyebrows were furrowing harder than ever, "Elaborate," He finally said.

He was interested in hearing what the All-King had to say.

"You are being played," Kael said, releasing his hands from his back.

"You are trying to reach godhood, are you not? Everyone who is not Ibadon is trying to do that actually.

But you should also know that no Primordial has ever made it to godhood..."

"Reincarnation did it," Seth blurted, a big mistake.

Kael’s expression did not change, but now he knew one of Seth’s motives. He wasn’t sure before, but now he was sure. It explained why most of Seth’s actions felt so impersonal.

His grand vision for himself was way beyond most of these squabbles.

"Yes, but she is not a threat to the stability of the universe. She supports it.

Your Law of Freedom will not only cause a lot of unwanted events, but it could also serve as a catalyst to allow more powerful entities to evolve to that level too.

Think about it, you, , Ibadon, Gabriel, so many monsters are coming out of their hiding spots, monsters that have been around since the day the Ancient Felines were born.

The world is so chaotic because we are all here at the sa ti in the sa era. And it made sense because we are all here to cancel each other out.

We are variables, errors that should eventually correct themselves in the grand sche of things.

Everything you want to do now, it has probably been done before. And the person who did it first probably had soone to stop him.

Sa thing with , if not for the fact that I created the Alphaverse, I would have probably been hamred down by Gabriel or you.

I might have even been killed by Ibadon if not for Luck.

Noel was there and Ibadon was the one to cancel him out. Before Ibadon could grow stronger, I was the one to cancel him out. Next, it’s , or you.

Do you see?

You may think that you are playing by your own rules in your own gas but we have all been set up.

The path to Divinity is rigged."

Seth was silent as he listened to Kael’s words. It was strange.

Seth found it strange that he could not detect a single piece of lie in Kael’s words. His voice did not tremble at little parts, his eyes did not dart away, and his body language was consistent.

His voice was firm, as if, irrespective of what Seth believed, what must be will be.

He did not want to talk, not now. Not this way.

Kael already implied heavily that he knew a lot, he even knew that soone had been piercing the veil of the Outerverse.

Seth had indeed always wondered why he was allowed to get away with his sches but he had just assud that sothing must have happened and that he was simply taking an opportunity at the right ti.

"You couldn’t have been so naive, right?" Kael asked, wearing a mocking gaze as he scrutinized Seth’s face, "I hope you didn’t possibly imagine that you would just sche your way to Divine Tier and everyone would just stand by?

Right now, the Highest Will already has a few candidates lined up to either take your place or weed you out."

"What is the source of your information?" Seth asked.

"A Divine, soone who wishes to escape his bondages," Kael masterfully began the foundation of the most beautiful mixture of truth and lies.

"A Divine?" Seth frowned.

Seth had so back and a few entities that were interested in his plans but none of them were at the Divine Tier.

At first, he thought of Reincarnation, even though he had never seen her, she just seed to be a likely suspect. But Kael’s last words threw the whole suspicion away.

A god that wanted to escape his bondage?

There was only one Divine Tier that fit perfectly into that very description.

Change, the Sli God.
