Seeing her cry made Ryan Linton’s heart clench. He leaned over, gently pulled her into a hug, and brushed the hair from her face. He sighed and said helplessly, "If I don’t look after you, who will? What’s gotten into you? You’re an adult, you can’t just disappear like that. Do you have any idea how worried I was?"

Ryan Linton held her and kissed her. When Ashley Grant tried to push him away, he simply held her hands down and kissed her anyway.
Ashley Grant pounded on his chest, the very picture of a pouting girlfriend. The sight made Ryan Linton’s heart lt completely.
The corners of his lips curved up as he kissed her. He awkwardly wiped away her tears. Though his voice remained cool, his tone had softened considerably. "What’s wrong? Did soone bully you? Why did you suddenly disappear and then try to break up with , huh?"
He had truly panicked the mont she said she wanted to break up.
When he’d agreed to this relationship, breaking up was never sothing he’d considered.

Ashley Grant laughed through her tears. "Our ho?"
"Mhm." Ryan Linton humd faintly, his gaze drifting to the neon-lit world outside the window, lost in thought. He then turned back to her and said in a deep voice, "The keys to our ho. Ashley Grant, I will give you a future."

Ashley Grant looked at his handso face, wrapped her arms around his neck, and asked innocently, "Ryan, will you marry soday?"
He wanted to marry her, but it wasn’t that simple.

Kiera Keane was staring absently at the flowers outside her window when her phone buzzed with a ssage.
She opened it. When she saw the photo, her pupils constricted slightly, and for a mont, she felt numb.
She had known about their relationship, but seeing the photo was still a jarring sight.
She stared at the photo expressionlessly for a long ti before calmly locking her phone and setting it aside, as if she hadn’t seen a thing.
Her expression didn’t change in the slightest.
Finally, she looked down expressionlessly at her paralyzed legs. Then, with all her might, she moved one of them.
