Annabelle Linton gazed at his handso, gentle face in the video, watching it over and over again. In the end, she couldn’t stop the tears from falling.

Just as Annabelle Linton was thinking this, her phone vibrated again.
She saw Aaron Wyatt’s profile picture and frantically wiped her tears, but accidentally hit the answer button.
Caught completely off guard, her tear-streaked face was revealed to him.
"Hey, Annabelle!"
Aaron Wyatt greeted her gently, but when he saw the tears on her face, his expression instantly changed. "Why are you crying? Who bullied you?"
She had accepted the video file, so he knew she was there and called her. He never expected to see her crying.
’Why is she crying? Who made her cry?’
Seeing her tears, Aaron Wyatt’s heart clenched. He said nervously, "Tell , quick! Are you trying to worry to death?"
Annabelle Linton panicked when she saw Aaron Wyatt’s breathtakingly handso face on the screen.
But hanging up or moving the cara away now would be a dead giveaway, like a thief with a guilty conscience.
Wiping her tears, she gave him an embarrassed-looking smile. "I just ate so chili peppers that were so spicy they killed . I’m just wiping my tears, don’t get so worked up."
After speaking, she even took a couple of sharp breaths, acting as if she’d really been overwheld by the spice.
Aaron Wyatt’s expression didn’t soften at her words. His features remained tense. "Stop trying to fool ," he said, clearly unconvinced. "You’d better confess. You’ve never eaten spicy food before."
"That’s why I’m crying from the spiciness—because I don’t normally eat it."
Annabelle Linton picked up a glass of water next to her and took a sip, trying to prove she was really affected by the spice.
"What did you eat?"
"Green peppers. The really spicy kind."
Her answer was smooth enough that Aaron Wyatt didn’t press her further.
He didn’t know why she was crying, but he knew she was lying.
Annabelle Linton had a sensitive stomach. If sothing was spicy enough to make her cry, her stomach would be in terrible pain right now, but she clearly wasn’t.
When she didn’t want to talk about sothing, no one could make her. He wouldn’t force her.
The moonlight from the window cast across his face, outlining his handso features. At this mont, a hint of sadness appeared on his striking face.
’Annabelle doesn’t like to cry, but she’s crying now and won’t tell why.’

Aaron Wyatt let out an almost imperceptible sigh, then put on a smile. In a clear, gentle voice, he said, "Did you see the video? I hereby declare, with heaven and the sun and moon as my witnesses, that for the rest of my life, I will be Annabelle Linton’s one and only ultimate fan. I will love Annabelle Linton, pursue Annabelle Linton, wait for Annabelle Linton, and I must have Annabelle Linton as the other half of my life!"
"You’re so silly," Annabelle Linton said with a laugh.
"Even if I’m silly, I’m Annabelle Linton’s silly husband," Aaron Wyatt said gently. Seeing her smile, he felt relieved. "You’re not allowed to complain about ."
"Silly," Annabelle Linton laughed again.
Aaron Wyatt smiled, then let his handso face fall into a pout. "Sigh, I called you to ease the ache of missing you, but now I miss you even more... what do I do?"
