Seeing kina's performance Elena assured her that she was quite good and she just needed to have a little bit more practice to get a good result in the upcoming tournant. There was still so ti left before the start of the tournant but the registration was about to close in just two days. So after getting out of the practice room, Elena imdiately took kina to the magic guild reception counter to enlist her na among the participants of the younger mage's tournant.
The registration process was very easy. One just needed to be registered in the magic guild of this city to participate. This tournant did not allow the participation of candidates from different cities as this tournant was here strictly to find the best mages of this city. So one needed to be registered with this city's guild to participate in the tournant.
This was obviously not a problem for kina as she was born and raised in this city. So in no ti her registration was done and she got a token that would identify her as one of the participants. After registering herself, she beca nervous once again. Then she looked at Elena at her side and mastered up her courage. And then she bowed to her and asked Elena to give her so training.
Elena was a S rank powerhouse. So it was almost impossible for kina to get any chance to even et with soone like that normally. So now that she had a chance, kina was willing to be shaless if there was even a little bit of a chance that she could receive so training from such a great person.
Seeing her determined face Elena smiled sweetly and told her that Elena was already thinking about training her even before she brought the idea up. Hearing that kina was overjoyed. Elena then asked her to move in with her for a few days as she needed to use all the available ti to train if she wanted to get the best possible results in the magic tournant.
kina was fine with this arrangent and she imdiately went out to tell her family about this situation. Elena also handed her so money to give to her family. When kina was trying to reject the money, Elena told her that she could consider it as a loan and she could return it back in the future. But currently her family needed this money so she should not reject it for their sake. Hearing that kina reluctantly took the money but also made a promise in her heart to return the money tenfold to Elena in the future.

As Elena and kina started training, Tomoe was finally able to ta her little bird Pipi. She was extrely happy with her success and imdiately went to the tar guild to register herself as an official tar. The tar guild was happy to get more new mbers even if the monster she had tad was just a weak bird. The tad beings capable of flying were already quite valuable, so Tomoe was actually given a higher rank than beginner tars.
After coming back from the tar guild, she imdiately wanted to get another monster to ta. But Elena stopped her and told that she should first celebrate this occasion with her current pet and then she could get her next pet tomorrow. Elena also advised Tomoe to never neglect her previous tad pet only because she got a new one. Tomoe took Elena's advice to heart and decided to spend the night by playing and having fun with Pipi.

The next day, Tomoe once again went out of the city to catch her next pet. Elena and kina were also accompanying her in this little expedition. kina had been learning about new theories from Elena and was working very hard for the last few days. So Elena brought her out for this expedition in order to give her so rest and to clear her mind for a bit.
This ti they ca across a group of wolves as their first encounter. Actually there were two types of wolf monsters fighting each other. One of the group had blue dense far and it was capable of using elentary level water magic. The other group was larger in size with grey far but were unable to use any kind of magic but physically they were stronger.
These two groups were fighting with one another and it looked like that the grey wolves had attacked this group of blue wolves and had caught them off guard. As these wolves were not very good at close quarters combat, they were on the losing end and were almost wiped out by the ferocious attack of the grey wolves.
Seeing the situation, Tomoe slashed with her sword once and all the grey wolves were imdiately killed. They were weak E rank monsters with only the leader being at the D rank. So killing them was as easy as waving her hands for Tomoe.
She did not really do that to support the blue wolves as there was nothing left to support. Almost all the blue wolves were already dead. Currently these grey wolves were just busy devouring the other wolves so Tomoe just killed them as she did not like it.
As they were about to leave, Elena found that miraculously one of the blue wolf cubs was still alive. It was badly hurt and if not given a treatnt it would definitely die very soon. But at the current mont, against all odds, it was definitely alive.
Seeing that Elena believed that it was fate. She was also very impressed by the little cubs determination to stay alive and survive even for a mont longer. As a survivor herself, she really appreciated this kind of determination. So she imdiately decided to give it a helping hand and cast a healing magic spell on it. This was a powerful spell that imdiately restored the wolf cub back to its full health.
Elena then approached the wolf cub and lifted it up. As it was a monster and also a little cub it had no idea how powerful Elena was and imdiately bit her. But Elena did not mind it and cast a life concept magic spell on it. This spell got rid of the inherent ferocity of this monster and thus it lost the instincts that always made it to attack any human.
This species of monster was also not tamable as their inherent ferocious nature was just too much and they never submitted to any humans. But after getting Elena's treatnt. This little thing was finally tamable and it beca Tomoe's second pet. She still needed to ta it though so it was only on its way to beco Tomoe's second pet.
