Hearing that Alessia was here to go against the Cross of Ferocity, rcus was very happy. The Cross had been rapidly gathering power after becoming active and that was making even the five overlords of the city worried. So now that a powerful S ranker like Alessia was also here to go against them, rcus was naturally happy about it.
With that in mind, he was even more willing to help the girls out. So he answered all the questions very seriously and even promised to help the girls by investigating more about the item they were searching for.
According to rcus, it was extrely hard to go against the Cross of Ferocity in direct combat mostly because they had two S rank powerhouses. One of them was the Supre Protector of that organisation and the other one was a mystery who only appeared when the Cross was in grave danger.
With two S rankers in their group if the other five superpowers wanted to get rid of them, at least two of them needed to team up. But the enmity between the five organisation ran deep so co-operation was extrely hard for them. All of this reason ca together to give the Cross of Ferocity a chance to grow and regain their power.
But now with Alessia in the mix, rcus had a good chance to even directly go against the Cross. If direct confrontation could allow them to quickly get their hands on the item that the Azure Legion was looking for, Alessia was also fine with this brute force plan.
But first they all needed to be sure about the presence of the item. The item in question was a large stone tablet with unknown script, so it attracted quite a lot of attention with its size and mystery. So rcus was sure that he would soon be able to find more information about this.
After their important talk was over, rcus invited the ladies to co to his house. He wanted them to spend more ti with his daughter and that was the reason why he made the invitation.
After thinking about it a little, Alessia thought that it was fine. So they all decided directly go Monica's house while Nina was given the task of retrieving their luggage from the inn where they were staying.
Actually Nina also had a second job there. As that hotel belonged to another top organisation of the city, Nina was going to buy so information related to the Cross from them too. Because of Monica they did believe rcus and his words but still blindly believing him was not a good idea. So the Azure Legion were still planning to cross check his information.

After settling down in Monica's house, the ladies spent a peaceful ti conversing with Monica, her sister and their mother. They were also all quite cheerful just like Monica so all the mbers of the Azure Legion and Elena had a good ti.
They were also assured after seeing that rcus had not lied to them. The things he ntioned was more detailed than the information that Nina had managed to buy from the other organisation. And there was also very little discrepancy between the information that they bought and the one given by rcus.
Later that night, rcus managed to find even more about the item in question and he ca to tell the ladies about it. At the sa ti, he was also planning to spent so quality father daughter ti with his two daughters. So it was a very happy mont for him.
According to the information that rcus had managed to find, the stone tablet was kept inside the sa warehouse that the goat headed demon had ntioned before. But stealing that was more dangerous as the stone tablet was actually the centre of the defense for the warehouse.
Alessia's client had not told them about the function of the item in detail but from rcus' investigation, the ladies ca to know that the stone tablet had the effect of strengthening the power of barriers and giving them a powerful sensing function.
It was actually quite fortunate that the ladies from Azure Legion were able to get this information before Nina went to investigate the warehouse. As she was not aware of this function of the stone tablet. There was a high possibility that she would have been found out even without attracting the attention of the S rankers.
Alessia was quite angry with the quest giver for hiding such an important information when the mission was mainly an infiltration mission where this type of item could be a major obstacle. So she imdiately decided to launch a complaint about him to the adventurer guild after the end of the mission.
Even though that man was a strong and influential noble, in this world, very few individuals had the power to go against the behemoth which was the adventurer guild. So Alessia was sure after learning about this, the adventurer guild would take needed steps to compensate her team.
With this new information in hand, Nina's plan to investigate the warehouse was discarded. They had also managed to find the best quality information, so the need of more information gathering was also minimal. So Alessia proposed that they should directly move to the final step where they needed to get the item back by any ans possible.
If it was just a single S ranker who was protecting the Cross of Ferocity, Alessia would have been fine attacking him alone while her partners would get the stone tablet. But with the presence of two S rankers, that was not possible anymore.
One of the S ranker could easily block Alessia while the other one could take care of her friends. So for Azure Legion alone, finding a solution to this was extrely hard. But they did have an easy solution in mind which was to ask for rcus' help.
rcus had already told them that as the Cross of Ferocity was sothing that he also hated so he was very much willing to join the ladies if they decided to go against them. He was even ready to bring a few strong powerhouses from the Obsidian Tempest to assist the ladies.
So with rcus and the Obsidian Tempest on their side, Alessia and the Azure Legion started to make their plans. rcus suggested that instead of Alessia and her friends, Obsidian Tempest should declare war on them. The conflict between them was already reaching great heights and rcus was also known to be a very short tempered man. For that reason, no one would be overly surprised if the Obsidian Tempest decided to declare war on the Cross of Ferocity.
In this way, Alessia could act as a hidden trump card and could reveal herself in the most opportune mont and could deal a massive amount of damage to the enemy. This plan was quite solid no one had any complaints about it.
Just like this, the Obsidian Tempest and the Azure Legion were ready to declare a war on the Cross of Ferocity. So what would be the result of that clash ?
