All the people of the underworld beca extrely active in the city of Kamashi after the news of Obsidian Tempest declaring war against the Cross of Ferocity spread. Even any minor steps that the top five of the city took affected the whole city, so sothing this big was taken extrely seriously by everyone.
Even though the news was very sudden, no one was overly surprised by it. The sudden hyper activation of the Cross of Ferocity was not seen with kind eyes by most of the organisation of the city. But still as the Cross was quite strong, no one was willing to be the first to directly go against them.
Amongst the top five, people were sure that only either the Obsidian Tempest or the Helios Society would dare to directly go against them. The leader of the Obsidian Tempest had a reputation of being a hot headed person and the Helios Society was way too mysterious and unpredictable.
For this reason, when rcus declared war on Cross of Ferocity, people were surprised for only a mont and then they soon took asures to get themselves out of trouble. The wars between various gangs and organisations were not uncommon in the city of Kamashi but it had been a very long ti since two of the top superpowers had faced off against each other.
Obviously most of the people were worried about this as there was a high chance that this would turn into a bloodbath. But those people were also excited at the sa ti as it was a rare chance for them to see high level demons fighting against each other to death. For combat loving demons, this was nothing short of a ceremony.

As soon as this declaration of war was made, the lower level mbers of the two organisation imdiately started fighting. As both of the organisations were quite big and had many bases scattered throughout the city, fighting started happening in all parts of the city.
In terms of total power, the Cross of Ferocity was still behind the Obsidian Tempest. They had not been active for long, so the power that they had managed to gather during this short period was not much. They did have a very strong higher level combat power. But in lower level, they were still far behind the top five.
For this reason, the result of the initial battle was completely in the Obsidian Tempest's favour. Several shops and inns under the managent of the Cross of Ferocity were broken and two of their subordinate organisations were also destroyed.
Getting pressured by this, the Cross of Ferocity was forced to use higher level combat power to manage the worsening situation and in response the Obsidian Tempest also started using their higher level combatants. And with their involvent, the battle beca more and more destructive.

As soon as he revealed himself, he imdiately tried to wipe out a group of A and B rank powerhouses of the Obsidian Tempest. Those powerhouses were extrely important to the group so rcus obviously could not allow that to happen. So he also intercepted the attacks imdiately.
But it turned out that the supre protector of the Cross of Ferocity had already expected that and that attack was just a bait to get rcus exactly where he wanted. After successfully executing his plan, that mage activated an even stronger spell that he had already prepared.
Even though the supre protector wanted to get rid of rcus with just this attack, he was a tough cookie to crack. He used a powerful defensive skill to withstand the attack. He was injured from this but those injuries soon started healing. So even the wounds he had suffered from this were not fatal.
After withstanding this attack, rcus imdiately tried to close the distance between them. As he was a close quarters combatant and his opposition was a mage, he would be in an advantage after closing the distance.
But after getting closer, rcus realised that he had made a mistake. Even him withstanding the follow up attack was under this man's calculation and he turned out to be a special type of mage who had many short range spells in his arsenal.
After finding himself entangled in this man's plot again and again, rcus got extrely angry. That was the activation condition of his signature skill which gave him the title of "Wrathful Berserker".
Imdiately after rcus activated his Rage Overflow skill, his stats increases by a huge margin and a red scary aura covered his body. This was the sa aura that rcus was using when he first encountered Alessia but this ti it was in a more compact form.
With his activation of Rage Overflow, the battle suddenly turned into his favour. Before this, the close range spells of the supre protector was doing a decent amount of damage to rcus. But as soon as he activated his signature skill, he completely disregarded the damage he was taking and only focused on attacking.
The supre protector's defense was not strong enough to withstand rcus' all out attacks for a long ti and soon gave in. After that the best he was able to do was to focus on defending himself while trying to go far away to gather his breath but rcus was unwilling to give him the chance.
As the Supre Protector was finding himself in more and more danger, suddenly a presence appeared in the main building of the Cross of Ferocity. This presence was releasing the aura of a S ranker and with how sudden his appearance was, rcus thought that he must have appeared here with teleportation magic.
Teleportation was extrely rare even in the S ranks. It was hard to believe that a S ranker was able to use teleportation freely.
So there was a high chance that this person had appeared using a teleportation item. But even if that was the case, soone with a teleportation item was definitely not an easy opponent. So even rcus beca cautious. With the presence of this man, the Supre Protector also finally felt a little relaxed.
