When we ca out of the inn, it was already evening and the sun was bathing the land in a beautiful orange hue.

The manager slightly bent his head and replied, "Sir, you have a beautiful fiancée. I shall imdiately arrange for the ice creams."
When we checked out they gave us two ice cones, so we decided to eat them while walking back.
"Yummm, it's so cold and delicious," U exclaid, her ears twitching violently as she licked the cream. "We should go back and take more of these desserts."
"They won't give us more for free and we have already spent all the money Nyria gave us," I replied, denying her.
Her fluffy ears drooped and her face began sulking, almost forcing to embrace her.
"You can have mine, so stop sulking," I said, touching the cone to her cheek.
"Kyaa! So cold," she exclaid, snatching the cone from my hand.
"Are you fine eating it?" I asked, scratching my temple. "I have already licked it. So wouldn't it be considered an indirect kiss?"
"You didn't object when water from my lips went into your mouth in the bathroom yesterday night," she replied with a soft, adorable smile. "So I'm also fine eating this."
"Y-you knew it..." I gasped.
"Obviously! I'm not that ignorant," she chuckled before resuming her attacks on the ice cream.
It only took her a couple of minutes to gobble both cones, leaving a moustache of cream on her upper lip.
"How could you call yourself Queen when you are so ssy?" I sighed, wiping her upper lip with my thumb.
I glanced at the cream on my thumb, then licked it off with a grin. "Hmm, it's really sweet."
"H-how could you eat it so shalessly?" U squeaked, her cheeks blooming with a rosy hue. "My saliva was on it!!"
"And it made it even sweeter," I chuckled, licking my lips.
Her cheeks turned even more crimson and her hands flew to her face, trying to hide her shyness.
As I was enjoying teasing her, a young teenager, hardly sixteen, stood a few feet away in front of us. He had short white hair, wore a long white robe, and carried an unsheathed sword in his hand.
I imdiately moved in front of U and asked, "Who are you? Why are you blocking our way?"
The veins on his head bulged as he leapt at , shouting in fury, "I will kill you, bastard!!!"
