Nyria held my hand tightly and gave a frowned look to the ladies as we walked past them.
"So that woman was his beloved," Silvia's murmuring ca from behind. "No wonder he wasn't interested in us. We were no match for her beauty."
"Kyaaaa! Did you see how she gave us death stares as she passed by?" Aris exclaid. "She was so jealous that we flirted with her lover."
Nyria's face turned red hearing their comnts, and she took quick steps outside the shop.
"For how long were you listening?" I asked.
"From the point when that woman told you her na," she replied, tucking the strands of her hair behind her ears.
"So you were eavesdropping from the start?"
"I wasn't eavesdropping. I thought it would be disrespectful to interrupt your conversation."
"Huuu," I smirked, obviously not believing her. "So it wasn't disrespectful to interrupt our handshake?"
"I-I only did it because you seed like a lost kitty about to be devoured by two wild bitches," she countered, getting flustered.
"Thank you," I said, touching her head with my free arm. "And forgive for calling you my lover."
"It-it's fine," she murmured under her breath. "I don't mind it."
The mood between us turned awkward, and we returned to the inn without uttering a word.
Nyria knocked on U's room door. "Sister, open the door."
About ten seconds later, the door opened with a click, and U appeared, standing at the entrance still covered in a bedsheet.
"You two have beco quite bold, holding each other's hands so openly," U gasped, her hand flying to her mouth.
It was only then that we realized we had been subconsciously holding hands the entire ti since we left the shop.
Nyria imdiately snatched her hand away and blurted, "It was this fool's fault. He was continuously getting lost, so I had to reluctantly hold his hand."
"I didn't ask for an explanation," U chuckled. "Co inside."
The two of them sat on the bed as Nyria showed her everything she bought for her, her eyes gleaming with excitent.
"Thank you so much, Sister Nym," U said, giving her a warm hug.
"Hey, I also helped with the shopping. Where's my hug?" I demanded.
"My frostbite is very lonely these days," Nyria said in a cold tone. "She can embrace you dearly."
"I suddenly don't want a hug anymore," I responded imdiately.
"The two of you have a great bond," U said, then after a brief pause, she spoke further, her voice laced with sadness, "I apologize for coming between you two."
"Sister, you didn't co between us," Nyria rejected firmly, holding her hands, then gave a quick look telling to comfort her.
I rose from the chair and sat beside them on the bed.
"Hey, you didn't say anything about my new look," I said, trying to change the topic. "Don't I look handso?"
Unlike Nyria, who tends to keep things to herself, U was quite straightforward.
She'd bluntly say whatever she felt. Might be a perk of being a queen.
"I have learned all kinds of illusion spells, yet I couldn't understand the charm your looks cast on ," U said, gazing at while resting her head on Nyria's shoulder. "And this appearance of yours has greatly increased the intensity of that charm."
That... that took completely off guard. How was I supposed to react when she said such embarrassing words without a hint of nervousness?
Blood rushed to my face, and my eyes reluctantly moved downward as I whispered, "Th-thank you."
Yeah, that was all I could co up with in response to her over-the-top complint.
"Hehehe, your charms are also not to be underestimated, Sister," Nyria laughed. "Look at his blushing face. He's completely stunned."
"I-I am tired," I blurted, quickly getting up. "I'm going back to my room."
As I was about to move, a hand pulled my blazer, holding there.
"Wait, I wish to show you sothing," U whispered. "Sit down."
She got up from the bed, spread the curtains over the window, and closed the door.
"I practiced it a lot when you two were gone," she murmured, slowly unwrapping the blanket. It fell first from her right shoulder, followed by the left, before hitting the ground, exposing her paradoxically beautiful legs.
Bare legs were quite common where I lived. Several girls ca to college wearing shorts, so normally I wouldn't even flinch at the sight of re legs. However...
The way U seductively unfolded the blanket from her body without even trying, and the way her illogically pink knees, overly plump thighs, and exceptionally long legs erged from within, left in absolute dazzlent.
"Kyaa!!! What are you doing, Sister?" Nyria shouted, one hand covering her eyes while the other went to mine.
"Don't react like that," U pleaded. "It took a lot of courage for to expose myself like this."
"But why did you have to do it?" Nyria asked.
"Raj told that these clothes are common in this era, so I must adapt to this world's dressing sense."
"That is indeed true, but you don't need to wear sothing that makes you uncomfortable."
U ca closer to us and sat on the bed as she declared in a low, embarrassed tone, "I will only wear this in front of you two."
Yeah, that was it. I had heard enough. If she had said or done anything more seductive, my heart would have gone kaboom.
"I think I really need to rest now," I blurted, jumping off the bed and taking quick steps toward the door.
After reaching the door, I stopped for a mont and announced, "Those were the most arousing pair of legs I have ever laid my eyes on."
I gave a ninety-degree bow to U and exclaid, "Thanks for letting this mortal witness your godly beauty."
I straightened up and shut the door behind before running away.
"You are so shaless, Raj!" both of their flustered voices echoed as I entered my room.
