Iris smiled in satisfaction.
Shirley further reported, "The news won’t be airing anymore on Sun News Television. The chairman has successfully blocked the news from airing."
Iris’s smile widened.
"But the evidence is still with Aren Frost. What if he releases it?" Shirley expressed her concern.
"Use the PR team to take down his post and plant comnts calling it fake," Iris said nonchalantly.
The reason Aren wanted Linda to air the news was this.
With the news airing on a reputed major news network like Sun News Television, viewers won’t doubt it as fake.
Moreover, Titan Crest Entertainnt won’t be able to take down the news like they could with Aren’s post.
Still, there were ways to tackle this problem as well.
"But Ma’am, even if Aren and Lisa are kicked out of their drama, they still won’t be forced to hand over the evidence. They will even receive compensation, letting them live a life of comfort even without any role," Shirley asked, curious about Iris’s plans.
Shirley was still working as Neil’s spy and needed to report to the chairman if Iris was capable enough to deal with the current situation or not.

anwhile, Linda called Aren, explaining the situation to him.
"I understand," Aren said, expecting this already.

"Good. But what do you plan to do now? Are you going to approach other news networks?" Linda asked curiously.
"No," Aren replied. Then he asked, "Instead, I want to know if you can arrange a eting with the owner of Sun News."
"Hmm, I should be able to," Linda replied.
"Then do it, please."
"Alright," Linda said, "I’ll inform you once it’s done."

As the call disconnected, Lisa’s horrified scream ca from inside the hotel room.
Due to being scared to be alone, she was again staying with Aren in his room.
Right now, Aren was standing in the hotel corridor, having co there to have a conversation with Linda in private.
Aren rushed into the room to check what was wrong, only to find Lisa curled up on the bed with her phone hurled to the corner of the bed.
She was crying with her face buried in her thighs.
From the look of things, Aren could guess that sothing on her phone had scared her enough to throw her phone away.
He walked up to the bed and settled himself beside her, asking, "What happened?"
Lisa raised her head and turned to look at Aren with teary eyes.
She looked at him only for a mont before jumping into his arms, crying, "Sob sob, Aren. Disgusting things are circulating, sob sob, on the internet. People are comnting dirty about , sob sob."
Since she had forgotten to bring her clothes again, she was wearing Aren’s shirt tonight as well, letting Aren feel her supple figure against his skin through the thin fabric.
Aren stroked her hair gently, taking out his phone. "Let check."
As he unlocked his phone, Lisa snapped her eyes open and grabbed his wrist.
"No!" She protested, "Don’t look."
Aren noticed her body tremble slightly, realizing that what she had seen had shaken her deeply.
He already had a solid guess of what it was, but still, he wanted to see it for himself.
He smiled gently at Lisa, speaking with an assuring voice: "Don’t worry, Lisa. It’s alright. I just need to take a look to make everything right. Please trust ."
Lisa stared at him with a conflicted gaze for a few monts and then let go of his wrist.
She nodded.
Then, she leaned against his chest, wrapping her hands around him for comfort.
Aren wrapped one hand around her waist while using his phone with the other.
As Aren opened PulseX, the trending topics at positions one and two attracted his attention imdiately.

Even though Aren’s guess had turned out to be correct, he wasn’t happy about it at all.
