The survivors who had been trapped inside the supermarket were shocked to see the zombie that had made their lives so miserable die without a fight.
They started regretting offending the two lovers the last ti. If they had ford a good relationship with them instead, maybe they would have been able to save most of the people who died in vain.
However, it was never too late to take action. Thus, a weird situation happened in the supermarket.
Tens of people surrounded Lu Zhen and Leng Pan and started begging for them to take them in as their underlings claiming that they would do anything for them.
Of course the two weren’t planning on taking in such useless people to add to their burden.

She deserved to die.
When the others saw this move, they all scattered like birds in a burning forest.
"Does anyone else want to be a mistress?" Lu Zhen asked with anger evident in his voice.
One could tell that if soone dared to say anything, they would end up like that woman.
They all shook their heads like a rattle drum. No one had expected there to be a man who was so repulsed by the idea of having another woman.
Most n would feel like their ego was on a rocket if won offered themselves as playthings without asking for anything in return.
However, Lu Zhen was an odd ball. He only wanted his wife and everyone could see that he didn’t get angry as a show for his wife. He was genuinely angry.
Leng Pan was angry as well and dismissed any idea she might have had to offer so help to those people. They could struggle on their own. If they survived, it was their good luck, if not, it was none of her business.
Juan Ke and his companions also hadn’t expected Lu Zhen to be so ruthless. It seed that his love for his wife was deeper than they had thought.
Thus, it was better if they never offended Leng Pan even if they offended Lu Zhen himself.
Feeling the air around Lu Zhen getting hotter, Leng Pan realized that his anger was affecting his superpowers and if it went out of control, he could burn everything and everyone in there.
She stood in front of him on her tip toes and kissed him on the lips. The kiss was like a magic fire extinguisher. All the raging flas inside Lu Zhen extinguished in an instant.
As if to vent, he circled his arms around his wife and kissed her passionately. Leng Pan was aware that even though she had proven that she truly loved Lu Zhen and wanted to be with him, his insecurities over the years were not completely gone.
Thus, when an issue that seed like it might threaten their relationship arose, he would panic, thinking that she might leave him.
With this in mind, Leng Pan didn’t care that they were in front of many people and wrapped her arms around her husband’s neck then returned his passionate kiss with equal passion.
Everyone else in the supermarket was dumbfounded. They didn’t understand what had happened and what they had done to be fed such concentrated and high-quality dog food.
After a few minutes of kissing, the two lovers cald down.
"I am sorry for getting so agitated." Lu Zhen apologized with his forehead leaning against Leng Pan’s.
"No need to apologize. It’s others’ fault not yours. Don’t mind what others say. Let’s get supplies and go ho. I will give you a surprise once we are ho." Leng Pan, not wanting her husband to dwell on what had happened, changed the subject successfully.
"Alright then. Let’s check out the warehouse." Lu Zhen agreed imdiately and pulled his wife towards the now open door.
"Grab what you need and get it into the truck." Leng Pan turned and said to the people they had co back with before disappearing through the door.
"Phew, brother Lu is very scary when angry. I thought he was going to start hitting people and hurt sister Pan." Janna comnted with so lingering fear as she patted her chest as if doing that would calm down her racing heart.
"You are wrong. Lu Zhen would hurt anyone else except his wife. He would rather hurt himself than hurt her. So, you don’t have to worry about him ever hurting Miss Leng." Juan Ke refuted Janna’s thoughts with his own logic.
From his observation of the two husband and wife that day, he could deduce as much. He could tell that Lu Zhen was a wife slave who would die before he let anything or anyone hurt his wife.
And he was indeed right, didn’t the original text say that he died saving Leng Pan? Even though now it seed that the story was a fragnt of soone’s imagination and that it didn’t exist at all. But the facts could not be changed that for his wife, Lu Zhen would not hesitate to kill or die.
"Alright, talk less, let’s get our supplies to the truck. We don’t know when we will get such a good chance again to collect supplies, so it’s better to take more." The wife of the neighbor cut short their discussion.
As a woman, she was more ticulous than n and Janna who was still a child. So she had to supervise them.
