As soon as this sound was heard, Hu Xiaodong's body suddenly trembled. He instinctively turned his head, even ignoring the gun barrel pressed against his waist.

When he caught a glimpse of that familiar figure, the pair of eyes on his face that had deliberately maintained friendliness instantly erupted with two raging fires, like an inferno.

It's him! It's actually him! Hu Xiaodong could never have imagined that he would et the person in front of him in this place and in such a manner.

If earlier Hu Xiaodong still had a slight intention to make peace with the other party, now, after seeing the face of the person behind, there was only one thought left in his mind, and that was:

Kill this damn animal!!

"Lu Rui, you bastard! Go to hell!!" Without any warning, he turned around and roared as he rushed forward, but before he could take a step, he was struck by the butt of a gun wielded by the yellow-haired youngster who had been on guard behind him.

The blow was solid, imdiately causing Hu Xiaodong, who had no protection, to stagger.

Yet, despite this, Hu Xiaodong was still lucky, because if the other party had chosen to pull the trigger instead, he might have already beco a honeycomb full of holes by now.

After the assault, in front of Hu Xiaodong, it seed as if countless golden stars were swirling and circling, and his muddled mind continuously emitted a buzzing sound. His entire right face at that mont seed to be scorched by red-hot pincers, burning with pain.

But even so, he still gritted his teeth tightly, producing a grinding sound between his lips and teeth that made one's heart shudder just from hearing it.

But...

"Slap! Slap!" A crisp slap ca from the left and right, transmitting powerfully across his face.

Then Hu Xiaodong heard Lu Rui's sowhat sleazy voice, tauntingly say, "Haha, what's this? Brother Hu, we haven't seen each other for so long, and you still haven't changed your explosive temper!"

Slowly raising his head, Hu Xiaodong faced Lu Rui's crafty eyes. For a mont, images of Lin Lao, Hu Zi, and others eting tragic ends flashed in his mind, making him roar uncontrollably and struggle.

"Lu Rui, you're worse than an animal! Lin Lao, Hu Zi, they had no grievance or enmity with you, why did you kill them!"

Overexcited, Hu Xiaodong's tense arms exploded with unprecedented strength, so much so that the lanky yellow-haired youth by his side couldn't suppress his movents at all.

Seeing this situation, Lu Rui instinctively took two steps back, knowing that in the past, he was considered a brawler. However, after joining Hu Xiaodong's party in the apocalypse and being "taught a lesson" by the latter over a trivial matter, a subtle fear had silently grown in his heart.

This fear undoubtedly sowed the seeds for his subsequent brutal killing of Lin Junye and framing of Hu Xiaodong.

The only thing beyond Lu Rui's expectations was that he thought the forr would die in the zombie horde he designed, but now...

"Quick, quick, quick!" He then kicked the butt of another young man next to him, cursing almost insanely, "What the hell are you still standing around for! Are you sightseeing? Hurry up and restrain that guy for !"

The young man, who was kicked without warning, was quite aggrieved, but given Lu Rui's status in the team and his formidable skills, the young man could only suppress his anger and reached out to grab Hu Xiaodong's other arm.

On both sides, the two youths exerted their strength simultaneously, but how could their slender bodies compare to Hu Xiaodong, who was in a state of rage?

Just as the tall young man approached, before he could exert his strength, he was swung hard by Hu Xiaodong's swinging arm, almost causing him to fall to the ground.

Seeing their captive about to break free, the two young n were both angry and filled with bitterness.

They looked at each other with so fear, then nodded in silent agreent, and subsequently each punched Hu Xiaodong's abdon in anger.

"Puh!" Crimson blood slowly spilled from the corner of Hu Xiaodong's lips as his body suddenly bent forward, then he involuntarily knelt down.

Everything happened in a flash of lightning; the unknowing Lin Junfu couldn't grasp the current situation at all.

In his view, these people who suddenly appeared were clearly "robbers" lying in wait, but why Xiao Hu seed to know them was beyond Lin Junfu's understanding.

And just as Lin Junfu was pondering and confused, Wang Qiang behind him urgently asked, "What should we do? What should we do?"

Dazhuang didn't respond, but from his tightly furrowed brows, it was clear that he was ready to fight.

"Yeah, what should we do?" Regaining his senses, Lin Junfu instinctively glanced at the rearview mirror above. He could feel Wang Qiang's current mood.

Because he had experienced the sa feeling before, whether it was when Lao Zhang or Lao Zhao, two colleagues for many years, were attacked by zombies, or when the personnel dispatched from the factory suffered disaster, that kind of helplessness from watching close ones get hurt while being unable to help had truly frustrated Lin Junfu for quite a while.

And now, he once again had to face such a decision.

Without a doubt, choosing to go out and rescue now was akin to suicide.

One must know that although the opponents were holding riot guns, as soone in the police system, Lin Junfu was very aware that although these guns were not designed to kill, it was quite easy to cripple soone at close range.

Moreover, according to the information from a friend who was a transporter in his city, they were usually issued five bullets for missions, with the first two being blanks for intimidation, and live rounds starting from the third.

However, Lin Junfu believed that the opponent's gun surely had the blanks removed by now.

In other words, two guns, at least six bullets. If his group dared to act rashly, what awaited them was a barrage of riot-capable shotgun shells.

But if they just stayed holed up and did not go out, not to ntion Hu Xiaodong and Tang Xiaoquan's lives being at risk, even the others might not co to a good end.

To go out or not? Hu Xiaodong truly felt at a loss.

But just as he was hesitating, Lu Rui, gradually overcoming his fear, was step by step approaching the collapsed Hu Xiaodong.

"Damn it, even at this critical mont, you're still pretending to be tough. Let tell you, old man Lin is indeed my doing. So what? Who told you not to listen to and insisted on taking those useless burdens? If you had gotten rid of that little brat Hu Zi earlier, would that have happened on that day? So, stop acting like a goddamn saint in front of ! In the end, all this shit happened because of you being too soft-hearted!!"
