Due to the tunnel being too narrow, the escape speed of Sang Biao’s gang was far inferior to the pursuit speed of the "Climber." In just two minutes, nearly twenty people in the pursuit team were successively knocked down, and worse yet, at the front end of the passage, the recently transford "Guo Xiaohua" was blocking their way, holding his ground alone.
This was truly a dramatic scene to behold, especially considering that just fifteen minutes ago, Sang Biao’s gang had co with fierce montum, grabbing people.
But now, seeing their pathetic state like holess dogs, you cannot help but admit that the saying "evil begets evil" does have so truth.
Seeing the team stopped again, sweat stread down Sang Biao’s face.
The screams of his subordinates intermittently reached him, and almost every few seconds, a fleeing henchman would vanish.
What to do? Sang Biao’s mind began to panic, for he very well understood that if he continued to stand here, the next to be knocked down and devoured might be him.
No way! Absolutely cannot die here! The desire to survive began to unlock the devil within Sang Biao’s heart. He first shouted a few tis to "move forward," but seeing no reaction, a sinister gleam flashed in his eyes. Imdiately, he raised his handgun and aid at a henchman’s head in front of him, pulling the trigger.
"Bang!" The gunshot echoed like bursting beans inside the tunnel, reverberating for a long ti before fading away.
After firing the shot, Sang Biao didn’t stop, and he directly kicked the "unfortunate subordinate" with wide-open eyes, unable to find peace in death.
"MLGB*, anybody who dares block my path, I’ll shoot them right now!"
The threatening words quickly reached every henchman’s ear. Those in the back were unbothered, but those at the front, who couldn’t stop, crazily surged forward as if a fire had been set to their behinds.
Just in case, soone might fear being one step too slow and getting shot in the head by the Demon God behind them.
But this chaotic scene of frenzied escape not only failed to help them retreat but also added unforeseen disasters.
Sure enough, many people were pressed, trampled, and fell to the ground.
And speaking of the most tragic one, it had to be the poor soul at the very front.
The poor soul originally faced off against "Guo Xiaohua" and was prepared to hack at the latter.
But just as he intended to charge forward, a trendous push directly skewed his direction, causing his blade to slash into the hard pipe wall.
"Clang!" A clear sound sparked a flash of fire, and as the fire brightened, "Guo Xiaohua’s" bloodstained face ca into view.
The henchman felt a surge of powerlessness strike his brain, and the next second, he was pulled away from the wall, disappearing into the darkness.
Another scream arose, and at this mont, the drainage tunnel had utterly transford into a slaughterhouse for dismbernt.
Heart-wrenching screams could be heard everywhere, with the stench of malice’s blood perating the air.
Sang Biao had no desire to linger here any longer, and once more, he "inhumanly" fired several shots.
One by one, the lives of his subordinates fell to the ground amid his selfish "self-serving" actions, becoming the stepping stones to his escape.
This is human nature! This is the fate of those who pledge allegiance to an "evil man"! Surely, if those "criminals" had a chance to return to life right now, they would never again join ranks with a "scoundrel" like "Sang Biao."
Sadly, their repentance ca too late. Even though they understood this truth, the cost of their lives was unwisely spent.
With his subordinates down and obstacles cleared, Sang Biao fled forward without any guilt.
His intentions were extrely clear now; he wanted to see the daylight again as quickly as possible, then return with heavy firepower to the tunnel to vent his grievances.
His steps powerfully trod on the bodies of his subordinates. Due to the varied postures of the fallen corpses, uneven surfaces were inevitable.
Because of this, Sang Biao had to be extra cautious about the conditions at his feet as he ran. But in this life-and-death predicant, being chased and blocked on both sides, maintaining complete calm was purely wishful thinking.
Finally, after running three ters, a large, piled-up, clutched hand unerringly caught his ankle.
Normally, such a stumble wouldn’t be much of a problem — a simple adjustnt could easily restore balance.
The issue is, under the present circumstances, how can anything be normal? Plus, Sang Biao himself was already as skittish as a startled bird, so upon touching that large hand, his instinctive reaction was: "It’s over! I’ve been caught by a Zombie."
Thus, his adrenaline spiked abruptly, causing an overly nervous reflex that led him to make so unnecessary movents. And it was precisely these unnecessary movents that made him completely lose his balance, subsequently taking a straight fall to the ground.
Nevertheless, you have to say that Sang Biao still had so prowess; his ascendancy to the position of second-in-command at the base was by no ans due to empty fa.
No sooner had he fallen than he imdiately rolled aside, sticking to the pipe wall, then raised his gun to shoot several rounds in the direction where he had stumbled.
"Bang! Bang bang!"
Instantly, gunfire exploded, and flas erupted. In the firearms’ light, Sang Biao suddenly saw a familiar Black Shadow slowly lifting its face.
"MLGBD," realizing he had targeted wrong, Sang Biao imdiately turned the muzzle, a distorted ferocity appearing on his face.
It’s no wonder Sang Biao reacted so intensely; after all, anyone chased like a dog and fled for their life would be sowhat angered.
Thus, Sang Biao didn’t say a word; he roared as he aid at "Guo Xiaohua," pulling the trigger.
"NMD! You dare ss with ! Watch kill you!"
"Click! Click click!" The expected roar of gunfire failed to occur, and unwilling to believe it, Sang Biao frantically yanked the slide and pulled the trigger again.
But the result was the sa, the Type 92 semi-automatic pistol still lazily "yawned" twice.
Out of bullets, cold sweat almost instantly rolled down, and Sang Biao stared incredulously at the pistol in his hand, frozen in place.
The wicked will inevitably destroy themselves! If earlier Sang Biao hadn’t killed his subordinates for his own life, maybe he would have successfully dealt with "Guo Xiaohua" now.
But fate is fair, with every cause cos a result! As you think "cunning" can bring yourself "benefits," fate equally levies new obstacles for you.
Sang Biao vented his frustration by throwing the empty handgun at "Guo Xiaohua." The gun hit the target accurately, causing the latter’s slender figure to tremble, but even Sang Biao knew that such a strike was aningless to a creature like "Guo Xiaohua," who had already mutated. He was rely making one last struggle for his life.
Grinding his teeth, "Guo Xiaohua" tilted his head for one last glance at "Sang Biao," then growled lowly, lunging forward...(To be continued.
