"I hope that you won't mind asking sothing a bit personal, but what cream do you use?" Anna asked, as soon as the atmosphere had eased.
Anna was interested in beauty products from a young age due to so personal reasons. So she made it her duty to know as much as she could when it ca to this.
Diamond smiled politely at the lady and replied, "I don't mind. While we are on that topic, I will just give you my present. I hope that you don't mind about how small it is. I couldn't manage to find sothing big within the short ti."
Diamond said as she opened her handbag, took out a white 400ml container without a label, and handed it over to Anna.
Anna and the other ladies felt a bit frustrated seeing this. This was the first ti that soone had ever given her sothing so small. And to make matters worse, it didn't even have a na. And it wasn't wrapped as well.
"Huh, to think that she is a stingy one!"
"When I saw her, I thought that she would cause so waves. But who knew she amounted only to this?"
Even Cecilia, who was there, didn't know what to think when she saw this. Why was Diamond acting like this all of a sudden?
She didn't expect that this rich neighbor of hers would stoop so low to gift soone with sothing so small, and from an unknown source as well.
However, Diamond didn't care about their opinions and sincerely looked at Anna and said, "This is the beauty cream that I use for the whole body, including the face. It is sothing that I can't even get as much as I want it. And since you are interested in beauty products, you can research more about it."
The second she said that, Anna who was gloomy a second ago, suddenly lit up and looked at Diamond as if she was her savior. She was so curious about that. And if that small bottle was the cause of such beauty, then it no longer mattered what that was.
She was all in for it.
"You are sure about this?" Anna asked doubtfully, doing her best to get the facts straight before accepting.
"Yes, I am. It is that good, trust !" Diamond assured Anna, as she sincerely wanted the other to take it.
This was sothing taken from her mountain heap of beauty products. Sothing that she wouldn't have taken out if it wasn't for her trying to make friends with these rich and spoiled ladies.
"So, how did you get this? How .......?"
How can Diamond satisfy these ladies' curiosity?
She couldn't even expose the system and she didn't want to. So, she told them a white lie about a certain researcher she t who gave her these creams and since she knew that she would be coming to a birthday banquet, she decided to part with one bottle.
In the end, Anna was very grateful for the bottle, and many ladies felt that it was a pity that there weren't more.
Diamond was grilled with Cecilia about the beauty cream and she could only promise to give her a small bottle when they returned ho, after all, she couldn't give Cecilia all her share when she still had to use it.
It was only then that Cecilia let her go. Thanks to that, a lot of ladies wanted to beco acquainted with her. Even if they couldn't get the beauty cream, they could at least beco friends and get to know each other well in the future.
Facing such enthusiastic ladies, Diamond was very happy, and she didn't mind telling them about what she does and with Cecilia's certification, everyone who attended knew about her poultry business.
This may have sounded a bit degrading if it was another person who talked about it but these ladies who now knew that Diamond was the owner of villa number 3 of Cherry Court, the founder of DIAMOND OF HOPE and DIAMOND FARM, knew that she wasn't simple.
Besides, poultry wasn't bad at all, so what if a lot of other people do it? What was most important was to make money and raise the family.
And she wasn't a gold digger on top of that. Seeing such a hardworking and beautiful woman on top of that, Diamond oozed with a certain charm that attracted a lot of people at the banquet.
Diamond had co prepared, so she humbly exchanged business cards with those who wanted to get acquainted with her.
The banquet finally started, for this banquet, Anna had only invited ladies so there were no n around which made it easier for the ladies to have fun on their own.
After several glasses of wine and juice, Diamond was feeling a bit unwell, so she left for the restroom. After emptying her bladder, she decided to go outside for a walk and get so fresh air.
She received a phone call from Ruby, the little girl was sleeping at her friend's so she wasn't coming back. Since Diamond knew the friend, she didn't chide Ruby but told her to be careful before hanging up.
Just when she was about to return inside, sothing happened.
"Dee... Diamond, is that you?"
Diamond suddenly stopped and turned around to face whoever was calling her, "who is it?"
Because it was a bit dark, she couldn't make out the appearance of the caller, but the person walked fast towards her, so she was able to see the person in just a short ti.
"OMG! It's really you! I thought that I was hallucinating all this ti!" the young woman excitedly said as she threw herself at Diamond.
It would be rude if she pushed such an enthusiastic person away, so she reluctantly let be hugged. Luckily the woman didn't hug her for long before giving her space.
"With your facial expression, I can tell that you don't rember at all. I understand that, after all, back then I wasn't like this!" the young woman sighed helplessly and she wasn't upset at Diamond for not rembering her at all.
Diamond felt a bit bad especially when she saw how excited the other person was to see her and yet she couldn't rember who the other was, "I am sorry about that."
The young woman quickly waved her hands and said, "No, no, no, it's okay. We used to attend the sa college together. I wasn't in the sa faculty as you but we often bumped into each other. Theresa is my cousin, and she was your classmate."
The second the na Theresa was spoken, suddenly in her head, Diamond began to see the beautiful and tall girl Theresa smiling, and by her side was a short and plump girl who looked down on earth.
The reason why she could clearly rember this plump girl was because of her bright personality and how she was always positive about everything. She couldn't help but look at the slender girl who looked cute and charming at the sa ti with shock.
"You are that plump girl! OMG, you really changed!" Diamond didn't an to be rude, but the shock was simply too much for her.
"Haha, I am the one that received the greatest shock. You are the one that changed a lot. I bet everyone will be envious of you right now if they see you," Theresa said with a jovial smile on her face.
Diamond smiled at the young woman and shook her head, "They will be of you more. You have changed greatly and to be honest, this look fits you more."
