Diamond had praised the young woman and was being honest about it.
The young woman was obviously excited about this and began to chat more.
The girl was nad Dorcas, and she was two years younger than Diamond. She ca with her aunt to the banquet who lived in Frin. Dorcas was staying in Srad and currently working at a law firm.
In just a short ti, Diamond was able to know a lot about Dorcas as the young girl was truly another chatterbox but with good intentions. Diamond also shared a bit about herself earning her a lot of continuous praise from Dorcas.
Thanks to Dorcas, Diamond went through another round of introductions and she got to et Dorcas's aunt.
The aunt looked beautiful, although she wasn't rich compared to other ladies here, with a glance Diamond could tell that the aunt was special and soone who shouldn't be reckoned with. And she didn't mind partnering up with soone like her too.
They exchanged business cards before Cecilia dragged Diamond who wanted to introduce her to so ladies who were interested in her chickens.
Diamond was so happy on that night, the benefits she had gained were simply too much, and had a feeling that the future was going to be bright.
They returned ho around midnight and they were both dead tired.
However, although Diamond was tired, she still took a dicated bath before going to bed. She also signed in and received two bottles of beauty cream.
She stored them in her storage ring and just looking at the small mountain she had acquired so far of beauty creams; she was at ease. The ring was filled with all sorts of specialties, even water bottles could be seen inside too.
The beginning of a new week ushered great and new things. There were new cases for the foundation, and the donations were coming in very well.
Faith was also getting much better and soon she would be discharged, which was great news.
Diamond finally received so good news regarding the recruitnt notices that she had the PR departnt issued before. A lot of applicants had applied and things were looking good on their side.
Diamond received all the resus that had been sent in. As the recruitnt had closed, it was ti for them to scan and pick the people that could be used in the future.
This was going to be tiring, so Diamond threw this job to Andrea. While in the office, she did a video call to the supervisor who was in charge of the school project and felt quite happy seeing how the building was already at the next stage.
After a talk that lasted thirty minutes, Diamond was in a much better mood.
'In just a week or two, the building will be complete and we can move on to the next Chapter.'
Diamond had promised the employees to give them rewards, but she wasn't in a hurry as there were a lot of things to do.
She went to check on the other building being renovated and was happy to see that everything was almost ready. Probably in another week, the building would be ready for use.
After checking the building, she went to the hospital to visit Faith and spent so ti there before returning to the foundation.
After lunch, she called all of her employees to her office and issued rewards to the male employee who got number eight during the marathon. Since she had promised to award anyone who won, she kept the end of her bargain.
As for those who didn't win, she didn't reward them with anything, that way in the future, they would work hard and strive to get sothing in return.
The reward was actually a red envelope with so money in it. Money was a great motivator and could solve a lot of problems for an individual at any given ti.
During the week, Diamond gave Cecilia a small bottle of the beauty cream which made the other so happy. She also found herself in a won's chat group that was simply too aweso.
She felt as if she was so blessed to be able to join such a group. All the people in the group were all business minded, and she didn't get bored reading the chats no matter how many they were.
One of the things she liked about this group was the club idea. These ladies ford several clubs that were aid at different problems or were in different categories.
For example, there was a club that specially dealt with banquets. The mbers will contribute a certain fixed amount every month and that money will go towards a banquet of a mber when the ti cos.
Another example would be birthday banquets, every mber knew when their birthday would be, so the money would go towards that and sothing like that.
For those who like having tea parties, the money could be used in that manner as well.
For so ladies who love business a lot, they could hold business seminars, support each other, teach and learn from each other, and do sothing helpful.
How could she not like sothing like that?
However, she realized that so clubs couldn't be joined towards the year's end, so she had to wait until the beginning of the new year which was just a month away.
In the end, she joined the business club and got into the third batch. Each batch has one hundred mbers, and she managed to beco mber number 279.
All she needed to do was contribute when the ti ca and participate if a seminar was being held.
She made sure to read all the rules and regulations first before applying for mbership.
Another thing she did during that week was to oversee Ruby's applications to the top two universities in Frin. Ruby was doing a good job, and she seed very good at it.
She didn't cause any trouble, which was very sensible of her.
Diamond also started to look for furniture for the studio apartnt and since she wasn't good at interior design, she hired soone to help her with everything.
And she managed to get the studio apartnt furnished, and all that was left was for soone to start living there.
