Desther nodded his head upon hearing her words. That was one noteworthy advice that he obviously would not miss.
Unfortunately, Desther doesn’t have any elental skills.
As a matter of fact, his only offensive skill as of this mont was actually just the Magic Bullet.
It was sothing he had thought of before but never really took to heart. For him, Magic Bullet was enough, and hence, the need and urgency to get new skills containing so elents did not cross his mind yet.
He was now reminded of the fact that one singular skill would not be enough; with the number of monsters and skills around the world, there would surely be one bound to counter his Magic Bullet.
This was a problem that he must address sooner.
In the anti, though, he will see if the Magic Bullet would prove its worth as his only offensive skill as of this mont.
Not wanting Lexie to get implicated, with the upcoming battle, Desther decided to make the first move.
Dashing forward with speed that broke the norm, his figure bolted as swiftly as a gliding hawk targeting its prey. His hands move in sync with his legs, his eyes narrowed and locked to the Shadow Monster in the distance.
Knowing that the low-level dagger would not be able to do a thing to the Shadow Monster, Desther decided to abandon it altogether and just attacked with his bare hand.
With his Supre Body, his body could be considered a weapon in itself.
In a blink of an eye, Desther’s body arrived in front of the monster as though he had teleported over.
The monster flinched back in surprise the mont it saw him in front.
Its Agility was now just half of what it used to be. Its perception lagged behind, but its instinct scread danger as it imdiately kicked the ground to create a distance between it and Desther.
Desther did not allow it to do anything as it pleased.
The mont he saw the monster move, he imdiately responded by creating a Magic Bullet out of thin air. The transparent Magic Bullet was created as big as his own arm; the Magic Bullet broke through the sound barrier and instantly arrived in front of the Shadow Monster, threatening to tear it apart.
As swift as it was, the Shadow Monster still managed to react at the last second.
Its body disappeared like smoke; the Magic Bullet pierced through the haze and exploded a few ters away.
The next instant, the Shadow Monster was already behind Desther, its arms and claws slashing toward him with surgical precision.
Desther imdiately responded in kind. His foot kicked the ground as he dashed forward like a released arrow. A ter away, he forcefully stomped on the ground, stopping his own montum. Kicking the ground once more, his body bolted back to Shadow Monster’s current location, and his fist struck forward, aiming for the monster’s head.
Once more, the Shadow Monster reacted. Realizing the danger contained behind the punch, it once again disappeared into smoke, not daring to confront Desther’s punch head-on.
Its body materialized right behind Desther, preparing to tear him apart with its extended claw.
At that exact mont, a faint smirk surfaced in Desther’s face.
This attack might have worked the first ti, but using it to him the second ti was obviously not a good idea.
As soon as the Shadow Monster used the sa skill, he already knew where it would appear next.
The Supre Combat Art, combined with Supre Body and Supre Will, allowed him to adapt to almost everything.
Every movent of the Shadow Monster, subtle or blatant, was all processed inside his mind, which acted like a supercomputer. Its movents and patterns were held at bay at the palm of his hands.
At the exact mont it appeared behind him, a Magic Bullet was already waiting for it.
BOOM!
The sound barrier was broken once more, creating a sonic boom that could deafen anyone who dares to near it.
The Shadow Monster did not expect that an attack was already waiting for it after it used its skill.
The bullet had already torn through the air when it realized what had just happened. Could not evade in ti; it was struck squarely in the chest, its body blasted like a ragdoll thrown into a bottomless pit.
The impact caused shockwaves to ripple outward like a zone.
Desther’s hair fluttered in the air; his gaze tracked the Shadow Monster’s movent, checking what it would do next.
A few ters away, the Shadow Monster stood up groggily from the ground.
Surprisingly enough, its form seed to have not taken any damage even after taking the big Magic Bullet head on.
As formless and as it seems, the Shadow Monster actually hid a sturdiness that defied common sense.
"The Magic Bullet only caused minor damage to it?"
Even Desther felt surprised at how sturdy the Shadow Monster actually was.
If he did not know that its Agility attribute was its highest attribute, he might think that it possessed over a thousand points in Vitality due to how sturdy its body was.
SHRIEEK!
For the first ti, the Shadow Monster released a sound that seed like the scream of a banshee.
Even without a face that could show emotion, Desther could tell that it was now extrely enraged after damage was done to its body.
Ignoring the Shadow Monster’s plight, two consecutive Magic Bullets once again ford at the top of Desther’s head.
Simultaneously, the two Magic Bullet were shot toward the enraged Shadow Monster without any hesitation. Behind the two Magic Bullet was Desther, planning to seize the opportunity that they were mildly distracted from his previous attack.
The Shadow Monster learned its lesson. Knowing how painful the Magic Bullet was, it did not dare to confront either of the two of them.
Instead, using a new skill, its entire body dissolved like a liquid and rged into the ground in one swift motion.
