"Long ti no see." Damon casually waved at his two followers as he happily swam around in the poisonous lake, which was more like a pool at this point. A huge portion of the lake was visibly missing.
Ellora blinked, dumbfounded. Her mouth opened, closed, and then opened again as if trying to find the right words. "You... you’re alive? And swimming? In that?" she finally blurted out, pointing at the now half-empty lake that still radiated a deadly aura strong enough to lt most beings into goo.
Damon grinned and did a lazy backstroke through the viscous, glowing liquid. "Alive, upgraded, and having the ti of my life," he said, as the water gently hissed against his skin like a purring beast tad. "Seriously, you two should try it. Best detox treatnt in the multiverse."
Kaelthorn stared, jaw slack. "What in the blood-dripping hell are you?" he muttered, almost to himself. He hadn’t ant it to be a question, but sothing in Damon’s eyes answered anyway, sothing old, primal, and horrifyingly not human.
Damon shrugged, still floating lazily. "You know how it is. Standard vampire stuff. Oh, and thanks for the concern by the way," he added, flashing Kaelthorn a sharp smile. "I especially appreciated all the kind words you shouted across the dungeon. Really lifted my spirits."
Kaelthorn swallowed nervously.
Damon stopped and poked his right ear with his finger, casually cleaning it out. "This stuff gets everywhere. Oh, right, where was I? You were saying sothing about being dead?"
Kaelthorn took an involuntary step back. "...You’ve got to be shitting ."
Damon laughed. But he did not say anything after that. He thought he could sohow gain the trust of this guy, or maybe there was sothing hidden here but it looks like he only invited unnecessary trouble for himself.
There was no need to complicate things. He could simply return to the blood hall after this and dismiss him.
As for Kaelthorn attacking him right now...
Damon grinned. That was fine too. His body was bursting with power, and he did not mind a worthy opponent to test it out. He smiled, daring the guy to challenge him, but Kaelthorn took another step backwards and stood dumbly with his head bowed down, deep in thought.
His gaze seed to be searching for the huge monstrous creature that had seemingly disappeared from the face of the world. How could sothing like this simply be defeated that too by the likes of this guy? Kaelthorn did not understand as he watched the scene in a daze, his brain trying to make sense of the situation.
While he was staring at Damon, the other party was also staring at Damon but for very different reasons.
Ellora gulped as she watched the stark naked body swimming effortlessly in pisonous deadly pool. Her eyes were wide as she was completely fixated on the lean muscular body which seed to have so sort of tattoos on it.
She licked her lips as she took in the scene before her. In her eyes, there was nothing more sexy than a vampire who could handle poison so casually. What a handso man! What a powerful physique!
The young vampire lord was only a blood acolyte and yet he was able to deal with everything so splendidly. What a capable man! Just how powerful would the lord beco when he actually evolved to the higher levels? She let out a gasp as the thought crossed her mind.
Damon arched a brow as he noticed Ellora’s stunned gaze lingering a little too long. "You alright there?" he asked with a smirk. He was in a good mood so he teased the woman. "Care to join for a dip?"
Ellora gulped, her eyes especially stopping at a particular part that seed to be engorged from all the nourishnt.
Damon suddenly felt very naked. The woman’s gaze was giving him so serious chills. "Alright that’s enough. You are making feel like a piece of at. Turn around and face the wall, both of you. Ti for so quiet reflection. I need atleast an hour or more to be done with stuff here."
Damon closed his eyes and tried to relax so more but he had way too many things on his docket to remain carefree. He first decided to pull up his status screen to check out his current condition. He was extrely curious about his new stats.
With the seal and everything he needed to know just how much his progress and his stats were fucked up. There was only so much ti for relaxation. He needed to prepare for what cos next.
Damon let out a sigh and pulled up the status screen, rubbing his eyes and hoping things wouldn’t be too shitty.

"...Well damn," he muttered, blinking at the screen, unsure of how sothing like this could be true. "No wonder I feel like I could punch a hole through a dragon."
These stats were completely ridiculous. He knew he had gained a lot from the purification raid battle but what the hell were these numbers???
More importantly, what the hell was this ridiculously high mana?! 1 million mana points? He had a total of 1 million mana points?! How could this be possible?
If his sealed core was so powerful then what was the capability of his actual core?
A slow grin spread across Damon’s face. Oh yeah. This would do. This was more than enough for him to get a handle on shit and figure out this whole imbalance situation.
