Soon another hour passed and the big lake of churning and roiling poisonous waters was reduced to a re small pond. Damon was silently lying on the pond, trying his best to get more familiar with his new mana core.
Behind him, Ellora tried not to peek again. She was failing. The woman shalessly stole many glances and continued to gulp as her thighs tightly clenched together.
Kaelthorn, anwhile, had sunk to a seated position by the edge of the pool, arms crossed tightly, his jaw twitching every now and then like he was biting down on a thousand curses. He was full-on in depression mode, unable to still digest what had happened.
A few more minutes passed by just like this when a new notification rolled in.

"Ohhh," Damon muttered, "That’s nasty and I love it."
His Blood Archives update was going to be quite useful in the future. With his new mana reserves and his blood archives expanding, his energy sources were now almost limitless. Damon made a small fist pump with excitent.
Kaelthorn’s face twitched wondering what the hell was Damon upto now. But Damon completely ignored the guy and continued to suck in every last bit of the poisonous water. Only after not a single drop was left out, he stood up from the spot.
The dumbstruck vampire stared at this scene in shock. This bastard absorbed the whole damn thing? How? Why? He could not understand. How can a vampire possess a capability like this? Kaelthorn did not like it. He had a feeling he had offended soone who should not be offended and now it was as if a guillotine was hanging on his neck, about to co down at any mont.
"Can we leave now?" Kaelthorn impatiently urged.
Damon once again ignored the guy. "I still have so more unfinished business here." He then summoned Elina and his shadow clone and also put the dirty girl to work who was still acting as if her eyes were glued onto the wall. "All three of you comb this place from top to bottom. There is a treasure hiding here and we need to find it no matter what."
The new Damon from this life might be rich and powerful but the original Damon had always been a scrapper. He had spend many days scraping many many places in hopes of finding a rare treasure and he had even succeeded many tis.
Naturally, he still retained his keen senses, thick skin and the shalessness one required for spending hours to search a seemingly empty spot for hidden treasures.
And this place wasn’t exactly empty.
After the waters were drained completely, several items shimred at the bottom, weapons and armors that looked to be NPC tailored, particularly of the holy and divine categories. It looked like the poison master had tricked many NPCs and lured them to co here.
Most of the stuff would have dissolved in the poison waters and only a few remained. This only made them all the more incredible.
Damon was in a hurry so he tossed these items inside his spatial ring to check them out later. He then continued with the search.
A few minutes later two new ssages arrived. One from Mark and the other from Lirae. Damon opened the ssage from Lirae first.
[I have successfully extracted your family mbers. They are all with now. Rest assured, my love.]
It was a small and simple ssage. Damon smiled faintly. Trusting Lirae had paid off. He still planned to visit them in person but that can wait a little. His gaze then drifted off to Mark’s ssage. This one was rather unexpectedly cryptic.
[I have sothing important to show you. Co back to the Blood Hall as soon as possible.]
Hmmm. Damon frowned. "What could be so important? I hope those fuckers did not ss with my one week ti limit for coughing up the money!" He grimaced. "Well, I guess there is no point in rushing now." Damon checked the ti and it was almost close to log out ti.
While he could stay inside the ga as long as he wanted, Mark and the others would be kicked out. He decided to continue searching until then and then briefly log out to check on everyone else.
Soon another couple of hours flew by and Damon ended up not finding shit inside the cavern. He finally decided to give up and get out of here. "I guess I should log out first." He activated his tattoo and silently disappeared from the cavern space. The next second he was back in his castle again.
Damon imdiately heard La Rocha’s curious voice in his mind. "How did you manage to fix your soul so fast?"
Damon rolled his eyes. "Wouldn’t you like to know? Actually maybe you would." He suddenly thought of sothing and started talking to the greedy item spirit with a smile on his face.
"Since you are literally begging for information. I will share this with you. I found a vial of soul healing potion along with so old parchnts. They are inside the ga and I still cannot freely move items back and forth from the ga. Perhaps if you could help with that, I can bring those old books to you and you can learn sothing new about soul healing?"
La Rocha beca silent.
"Co on. I know soul nding potions are extrely rare. You know you want it. And surely, soone like you should have so resources to help bring the things out of the ga world? Co on. What do you say?"
